Hello, world. (Oh dear, I did not just do that.) Anyways, I'm Stephanie. 17, in possibly my last year of high school, and loving the fact that I don't have to pay for school yet.
II'm currently situated in a small city in Ontario. That's right, Canada, eh?
As for what instruments I play, oh dear. Lessee here. I've played piano since I was four, alto sax since elementary school, a bit of clarinet (one year, they didn't have enough altos. But me and the clarinet, well, it didn't really work out), a bit of oboe, and I just started guitar a few months ago. I mostly piano and alto, though.
I'm part of my school bands, Centennial Secondary School Jazz Orchestra, for which I play the keyboard, and sometimes the saxophone, and the Centennial Secondary School Concert Band, for which I play the alto. I play classical piano on my own, with private lessons.
Our uniform really is just blacks. Black pants and a black polo with a gold "MUSIC CENTENNIAL" written on it. I personally wear a fedora with it, though. I met Robi Botos, who was wearing one, and I decided I should, too.
I ahve way too many favourite songs. For the alto, Count Bubba's Revenge, St. Thomas, Chameleon, and Summertime. For piano, Jane's Song, Venetian Boat Song, and Watermelon Man.
It's pointless to say I'm interested in music, because this is a music-related guild. I do enjoy drawing, though. I'm not extraordinarily talented, but I draw for fun. I like to animate, too.
I'm on Gaia, really, wherever I feel like for the day. zOMG if I have time, if not, I'll stalk around everywhere for a little.
I deactivated Facebook, soI don't use other online things so much any more. I had a tumblr, but I don't actively use it.
As for my personality, I'm rather shy, but once we get through that, I'm somewhat insane. Don't worry about it, too much.
I don't really know what else you need to know about me. My alto's name is Charlie. I am a Doctor Who fan. Oh, and I'll be going into engineering science or engineering physics post-secondary. And after I earn my shiny degree, I'll become a piano teacher and pianist, if I'm good enough.

I am Kyla and I am a percussionist. I also tend to dance around football fields and basketball courts with a flag in my hands.
I play more than just percussion. I play piano, cello, bass guitar, marima, timpani, and snare, to name all the instruments I currently study. The are also lots of trap instruments I play and I'll hopefully be able to start trumpet in March. I've been playing music for nearly four years, and I plan to attend college this fall to major in music education.
I must add that I love how the guard and percussion are together in one subforum =)

Favorite Song to Play: Ummmmm Probably the pep songs but my favorite piece had to be from 8th grade let the Spirit Soar. Such a beautiful piece.

Any other Additional Info: Hi! I just joined this site, so I'm new. (Hopefully I don't mess up anything!) I'm in high school, and part of my school's Choir and Concert Band. In Choir, I sing and I have the honour of playing all the songs on the piano. In Concert Band, I have played 3 percussion instruments last year. This year, I was learning and playing the flute, but I mastered it too quickly, and thus my teacher asked me to play french horn ^__^ So I'm currently a french horn player!
