Jacob looked down at the pill in his hand and then up into Kiah's eyes. "...nothing will keep her away...she haunts me....she's the only one who haunts me... what...is this..." he asked her as he fell to the ground again, sitting up weakly, but no longer able to stand.

*Grimaces at the question and attempts to get him back on his feet while explaining in a whisper* It's a sleeping pill that's strong enough to keep you down for the night. It's suppose to help you sleep, make you stay asleep, and prevents you from having dreams... Or nightmares. Hide that! *Looks around, afraid that Jess will get back soon* You need to stay awake until you're safe at home.

Jacob looked at the strange pill again, but shook his head, smiling sadly. He placed it back in Kiah's hand and leaned in and kissed her cheek. "...that's a whole other nightmare doll... see izzy and me are linked mentally...even if i evade my nightmare with that pill...he'll see it...and I don't want him to know about her...she deserved better than to be known about in that way..." he explained quietly. "...but thank you...for trying to help...i'll have to just...ask kitten to lock me in the dream world...maybe if enough time passes so will the memories..." he smiled weakly and sleepily.

Jess decided to use the door this time and walks in slowly, curious on what had happened, having stood outside the door for a bit.
"I can carry him through the moonlight to the safe house if he so wishes it."

*Would have blushed at the kiss if she wasn't already feeling frustrated and drained of energy. She quickly pocketed the pill and looked at him with watery eyes, never allowing tears to form* So there's nothing I can do, is there? I should have guessed that I'd never be able to do anything to help... *Gives a humorless laugh and looks away*
Edit: *Stands up and nods to Jess, face blank* That's probably for the best.

Jacob grabbed his jacket and nodded to Jess tiredly. "..y-yea..that's probably...for the best...thanks Jess...thank kiah...have a good night...I'll come back again soon" he tried to reassure her, since he knew she was worried about him. "be good" he smiled sleepily before he drunkenly and sleepily walked to Jess's side and let her lead him away.
((going to bed myself all, nighty night night!!))

Jess stared at Kiah sadly, before pulling Jacob into the moonlight and vanishing.

After a moment, she returned through the same moonbeam, her eyes looking at Kiah. "Don't feel bad... We did our best.. You did your best."

*Simply nods and waves them off, bottling up her emotions* Bye Jacob, bye Jess.
Edit: *Sees Jess come back and try to reassure her* Maybe we did all we could. *Looks unconvinced* Anyway, I need to get to bed. I'll see you later Jess... *Heads to her room, feeling useless and sick*
