Jasper looked up at the thick canopy of leaves now sheltering them from the bright sunshine, giving the Ilex Forest its usual creepy ambiance. The youth was still contemplating the idea of making his first 'real' Pokemon capture, though he had yet to make a decision on what it would be. He could always go for the traditional easy targets such as Rattata or Pidgey, but he wanted something he didn't see every day, and he did see them pretty much every day. The Mouse and Tiny Bird Pokemon were common sights in the parties of new trainers, though he couldn't blame them, as he'd seen a few tough Raticate and Pidgeotto/Pidgeot in the hands of more experienced trainers. 'I want something different,' Jasper thought as he carefully maneuvered his bike around a large boulder, and he glanced down at the blue Ditto perched on the handlebars and grinned. 'Though nothing will ever compare to Ditto.'

He rode for a little while longer, his pace slowing down a little more every few seconds. He finally came to a stop and planted his feet on the pine needle-coated ground, looking around the small clearing he'd arrived in. 'Maybe I'll just capture the first Pokemon I see,' he thought, carefully searching for the slightest movements. His head snapped up as he heard the familiar hooting of a Hoothoot, though the sound was far too distant for Jasper to properly track it down. "This is harder than it looks," Jasper muttered, prompting an unhelpful gurgle from Ditto. Just where were all the Pokemon, anyway? At this point he would have been happy enough to see even the tiniest Weedle crawling by, but no dice. Jasper furrowed his brow and pouted, his annoyed expression being perfectly copycatted by Ditto (though the amorphic Pokemon could care less that they were seemingly alone in this forest).

Before long Jasper had chosen to continue his search on foot, having folded his bicycle (a marvelous contraption, indeed) and attaching it to his backpack. Ditto was serving as a lookout from atop the boy's head, watching behind them as they moved about though the Transform Pokemon had quickly grown bored of his duties and had chosen to nap instead. Thus far the only Pokemon the duo had encountered had been a flock of Pidgey that had scattered in fright when Jasper stepped on a twig and it snapped loudly beneath his weight. "This is stupid," the boy muttered, sitting down on the end of a fallen log, Ditto still clinging lazily to his hat. "The one time I'm actually looking for Pokemon, there aren't any around! Figures." He growled and slammed his fist against the side of the log, causing a dull thud to echo through the hollow log. A moment or so later, a curious scratching noise could be heard coming from below him, and Jasper looked down at his feet in time to see a reddish, crablike Pokemon scuttle out from the opening of the log. Two small mushrooms appeared to be growing out of its back and it took Jasper several long moments to realize that it was a Paras. 'I guess we're not out of luck after all,' the boy thought, a grin quickly spreading across his face.

Kilik checked his PokeNav after exploring almost every nook and cranny of the bottom floor of the hotel. "It's almost 8 now," he said, putting the device away into his pouch. He opened the front door and took in the morning air. He squinted a bit and started heading towards the volcano that loomed in the distance. To get there faster, he whipped out his Mach Bike and hopped on, nodding at Flareon to hold on tightly.

He skidded to a halt after a short bike ride to the entrance of the Gym, chaining his bike to the post outside. Looking up at the volcano made him feel small. Kilik went into the Gym and took the stairs down to the arena, opening the door and stepping inside. The room was completely empty aside from Mike, laying on the arena that hovered just above the boiling magma. "Is he sleeping?" he thought, raising an eyebrow. Napalm was sitting next to his trainer, also looking like he was sleeping (at least from that distance).

Flareon hopped off of Kilik's shoulder and walked with his trainer down the steps and hopped onto the arena. He could tell that Napalm wasn't sleeping. "Flaaa!" he said quietly, as to not possibly wake the (not) sleeping Mike. The fox hadn't seen the Magmar since he was but a baby Magby. He certainly looked different! He jumped onto his fellow Fire-type's shoulder and cooed.

Kilik slipped his hands into his pockets and looked up at the sky from the opening of the volcano. It's so nice, he thought, Can't I ever have a normal day? He glanced down at Mike and crouched down to be closer to his friend. "Mike..." he nudged him once, "Hey. Mike!"

Mike watched the stars fade and the sun rise through the mouth of the volcano. It put him into a slight trance.

"I'm bored." Milo, who had appeared a few minutes ago, said. His long, jagged arms were crossed over his chest as he looked down at the boy. Mike chose to ignore him. Milo, not liking the cold shoulder treatment bared his claws, but was interrupted when he heard footsteps outside the door. "Gee! It sure is nice out!" he shouted, masking the sound of the door opening. "We sure wish we could go back home and make out with my girlfrie-oops! We don't have one!"

Mike grit his teeth under his lips and slowly shook his head.

As Kilik got closer, Milo put a bladed hand to his mouth and silently chuckled. His ghostly shoulders bounced in anticipation. The phantom walked up to Kilik and stepped in front of him. He crouched down as soon as he did as well. When Kilik chose to nudge him, Milo chose to jam one of his bladed fingers into the boy's shoulder. "ENEMY!" Milo screamed.

Mike's eyes shot open in pain and anger. He saw Milo leaning over him and went straight for the throat. Mike threw his arm out and grabbed the phantom right at the neck. "Ha! I got you this time!" he said with a smile. "It looks like you're not so invulnerable after all!"

"Looks like you got me." Milo said calmly before fading away with a menacing laugh. Mike then realized he wasn't choking Milo, but his friend Kilik.

"Oh s**t! s**t!" Mike cried, releasing his tight grip on Kilik's throat. "Kilik, I'm so sorry! I thought it was Milo! I really didn't mean to! Don't sneak up on me like that. I'm sorry!" He grabbed his head and sunk to the floor, his eyes wide in fear.

Napalm, who was just about to fall asleep, was jostled back to readiness when the ball of fire and fluff jumped on top of him. The Magmar was about to say something when he heard his trainer scream. He rolled to the side, throwing the Flareon off, and jumped up into a ready position. He saw Mike choking someone then let go. Napalm lowered his guard when he realized it was Kilik, and the whole thing was an accident. Seeing his trainer in distress, the Magmar walked over and nudged his trainer on his cheek and helped him to his feet.

"Thanks Napalm." Mike said, looking back at Kilik. "Are you alright? God dammit Milo!" he screamed.

Milo's laughter echoed throughout the volcano. "Thanks for the entertainment, spike. You came just in time."

He almost jumped back when Mike started moving. He heard Flareon yelp a split second before he felt a hand clenched around his throat. "Grrhhh!!" he choked, slamming his eyes shut. Steam was rising from his skin and he clamped his hands down on Mike's arm in retaliation. He opened one of his eyes slowly, growling a bit. Suddenly, Mike let go and Kilik placed his hand around his neck, panting heavily. As Mike apologized, Kilik regained his composure, shaking a bit.

Flareon managed to land on his four feet when Napalm threw him off, but he still kinda hurt himself when he hit the ground. He jumped on to Kilik's shoulder after Mike had let him go and licked his cheek. What on earth was going on? Why would his friend attack him like that? Mike did look different...hurt, somehow.

"It's cool," he said, coughing a little bit. His throat was fine and his skin didn't hurt anymore. He gulped and let out a sigh. A chill ran down his spine when he heard the ghostly laughter echo through the volcano. "My fault. Fool me once, shame on you." He was referencing the time he was nearly scorched outside of Fortree before they went to go rescue Sasha. "Fool me twice, shame on me," he laughed, slipping his hands back into his pockets.

"Say, Mike." He glanced at Napalm, "You said you had something that would make Napalm evolve. A Magmarizer, was it?" Kilik darted his eyes to the boy before looking Napalm up and down again. "Did Blaine ever tell you how to work it? Cable has something similar, name-wise anyway. An Electrilizer." He pulled Cable's ball from his belt and tossed it up and down a few times before holding tight on to it. "What's say we evolve Napalm? We could use the extra power today. And if the Electrilizer works the same way and evolves Cable..." he clenched his fist and smiled brightly. "There'd be nothing that could stand in our way!"

Mike was surprised at Kilik's rapid recovery. He was sure he felt the boy's skin heat up, but he seemed okay, and in strangely high spirits. "Uh, yeah! The Magmarizer. Right." said the boy, happy for the subject change. Napalm produced the item in question. The little box burned brightly, and even being in the presence of it caused Mike to smile at the comforting warmth it gave off. "It would be nice to evolve him, that's for sure. What do you think, Napalm? You ready for another growth spurt?"

The Magmar didn't have to be asked twice about it. Napalm nodded happily, giving the Magmarizer a tight squeeze. He thought about his new friend that slumbered underneath the arena and his beak curved into a smile. Soon he would be just like him, a fully evolved and powerful Magmortar. "Maagg." Napalm cooed.

"Well then it's settled! Let's go trade them!" Mike raced towards the door to the lab, followed quickly by his Pokemon. "There's a machine in Blaine's lab!" He jumped up to the sidelines, landing on all fours and continued to the door running like a dog, giggling the whole way. "What good are those long legs if you can't catch little ol' me?" Mike teased Kilik as he shut the door behind him.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 03, 2010 11:34 am

Kilik jumped out of the way when Mike dashed by him, surprised at how fast he could move on four limbs. Long legs...? Kilik laughed to himself, slapping his forehead. Duh. He was incredibly tall. A little bit of Mike's insanity was seeming to rub off on him. It's not that he found the situation funny, far from it, but something just let him laugh and it really wasn't particularly at anything. He snapped back to reality when he heard the door close behind Mike and he gasped. "W-wait up!" he ran after his friend, jumping onto the stairs from the arena.

Flareon held tightly on to Kilik's shoulder as the boy ran and jumped when the boy slammed the door shut behind them. Where was the lab? Kilik did seem to know where he was going...was it possible to get lost in a volcano?

Kilik could hear giggling echoing in the hallways and he followed it to the source - Mike. He was standing in front of the trading machine in the lab. Everything looked pristine, and just as Kilik had left it yesterday when he withdrew all of his powerful Pokemon. He approached the right side of the machine and set Cable's ball down. A soft sigh escaped him. Cable, if you evolve...I'll still remember you as you were when you were Electabuzz. A smile appeared on his face and he turned to Mike.

"Let's do it."

"Oh right, Pokeball." Mike said, taking out Napalm's ball. The boy raised the Pokeball but hesitated, taking in his Pokemon the last time as a Magmar before recalling him. Napalm hugged the Magmarizer tightly as he turned red and was sucked into the ball. As he placed the device in the trading machine, he remembered how much hard work and time the two had spent training together. Napalm never once complained and gave it his all every single time. It was enough to bring a molten tear to the boy's eye. Mike fell quiet, considering for just one moment to take the ball and not go through with it. He shook the thought from his head and reached for the ready button.

"See you on the other side, buddy." he said softly, pressing the button.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 03, 2010 11:54 am

Kilik took another deep breath after Mike pressed the button. This was it. Clenching his right fist tightly, he pushed down the button with his left hand and the machine burst to life, whirring. Electricity surrounded both Pokeballs before they were sucked up into the machine. On the main screen, Electabuzz and Magmar images swept by each other, signifying that the trade had been completed. The two Pokeballs fell into the trays and that was that. Nothing happened.

Flareon looked at the screen as it happened, seeing Cable slide by against Napalm and vice versa. He watched as Cable's ball fell in front of Mike. The room was eerily quiet. The fox looked at Kilik. Maybe they didn't do it right?

Kilik glanced at Mike. "Huh. Maybe they evolved in their Pokeball?" he said, reaching out to grab Napalm's sphere. Suddenly, a scorching heat unlike anything he'd felt before shot through his finger tips and he let out a yell. Napalm's Pokeball fell onto the ground in front of him. "Hnng...that hurt..." He blew on his hand, then looked at the ball.

The sphere burst open and Napalm stood there, steam slowly rising off his body. His eyes connected with Kilik, then to Mike. His bill curved into a smile as he held up the Magmarizer. The device began to ooze magma, and flash brightly before Magmar crushed it in his fist. Shards of red plastic showered the floor before transforming into bubbles of lava. He watched as Kilik took a few steps back, nodding that that was probably the best idea. He clenched both of his fists and fire enveloped them. The bubbles of magma on the floor soon grew and shot up like pillars, surrounding Napalm like a cage. "Mag...Maaaag...!!" he clenched his teeth and closed his eyes.

The fire pillars soon closed in on him, creating one large tower. Within it, Magmar was going through his evolution. Drops of magma showered out from the top of the tower before it stopped turning. Two large cannons came out of the sides and slowly began to suck up the magma tower. Before the two boys stood Napalm, fully evolved and more powerful than ever.

"Mortar...."

Before Napalm could finish his post-evolution pose, Mike jumped on his newly formed Pokemon's back, giggling like a little girl at a slumber party. "Heeheehee! You're beautiful!" The boy crawled all over Napalm, taking in the Pokemon's wonderful flamed body. He took in a deep breath in his nose, some of the stray flames and smoke wafting in, and breathed out. Black smoke exited his mouth as the boy smiled widely. "You're so warm!" he said. Mike climbed into Napalm's arms and relaxed. "Heehee!" Unable to keep still, Mike squirmed in the Magmortar's grip and grabbed Cable's Pokeball.

"Agh!" Mike yelped as he felt a shock when he touched the device, the hair on his arm sticking up like needles. He dropped the ball to the floor and reached down to get it, but before he could reach, the ball erupted, just like Napalm's had.

The Electabuzz appeared before the group, still holding the pulsating Electralizer. Cable looked at Napalm's fully evolved form and scowled. His brow furrowed, the Electric Pokemon looked down at the machine in his hands and took in a deep, angry breath. He reached up with his free hand and grabbed the Electralizer, holding it above his head. The energy that was contained within exploded out, releasing sparks and bolts of lightning. The shadows on the wall danced as the light flickered erratically. "ELEEEE!" Cable screamed, using one last feat of strength to rip the the machine in half.

After absorbing the energy, the Pokemon let out an angry cry. Cable stomped his foot on the ground. He wasn't expecting a change, he was demanding it. Sure enough, his body began crackling with incredible electrical energy as he became cloaked in white light. Cable's form grew, now rivaling Napalm's height. His awkwardly long arms became large and muscular, and Mike was concerned that Cable would have cannons of his own. From his back, two tails sprouted. The light dissipated, and before them stood Cable, his power full realized as an Electivire.

He eyed Napalm and smiled a confident smile.

"Neat!" was all Mike needed to say.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 03, 2010 12:36 pm

Kilik threw his arms up to shield himself from the frantic bolts of lighting that Cable was throwing around the room. The boy could see that his rage was going through the roof. The idea that Napalm could evolve threw Cable into a fit. Kilik knew how the Electabuzz felt; to be bested by your rival and unable to reach the same level. Well, not anymore. Cable had fully evolved. His potential realized. Kilik ran over to the Electivire and put his hand on his shoulder, calming the yeti-looking Pokemon.

Flareon couldn't believe it. After being there to witness their birth, he was here to witness their final evolutions. Cable was powerful, he could really feel it. Napalm, too! The fellow Fire-type was practically boiling with extra energy.

Cable's red eyes shot down to Kilik and he began to breathe a little slower, calming down substantially. He stood straight and his two wired tails curved upwards, the red L.E.Ds occasionally blinking on and off. Cable laughed heartily, throwing one of his fists into the air. He had done it!

"Well," Kilik said, looking up at his new Electivire and then over at Mike, who was still cradled by Napalm. He knew Cable was still upset over his loss yesterday. "Care for a rematch?" he asked Mike, "Give their new forms a little test run?"

"Nope!" Mike said with a yawn. He pulled out his PokeNav. "I told F-Flannery I'd meet her at precisely 11:36, and I don't have the time to waste on a battle now. Besides, we need them to conserve their strength for today. No use wasting their energy." He hopped down from his Pokemon perch and recalled Cable, motioning for Kilik to do the same.

"I've got to go...get ready." he said as he pushed the ready button again and watched the two Pokemon trade places once more. "I look terrible, and this isn't the way I want to look for...her." It was then he realized that he hadn't had a shirt on for the past day. "Some clothes in general would probably be a good idea." He grabbed Napalm's Pokeball and turned to leave. "Thanks for the help, Kilik." he said with a wave, not looking back. "Make sure you're ready to leave soon. I'm not going to keep my love waiting."

Mike dropped Napalm's Pokeball in his pocket and walked to the door, then through the Gym, up the stairs and out the secret compartment that led to the lobby. The receptionist eyed him curiously. "Have fun in the hot springs?" she said, confusing his attire for swim wear.

"Not yet. Maybe later." replied Mike as he made his way to the stairs.

"Oh boy!" Milo said, appearing beside the boy. "I know where we're going! Oh boy!"

"I just need her help on something. It's not like that." Mike replied, pinching the bridge of his nose between his thumb and pointer finger.

"Maybe we'll see her in her underwear. I don't understand how those puppies stay held back with something as simple as cloth and wiring. They look like you'd need solid steel to contain those funbags!" Milo made grabbing motions with his hands and leaned in close. "Maybe we can catch her alone, after her roommates have gone to eat, weld the door shut and have some fun with her? Hn-hn-hn-hn-hn-hn!"

Mike's heart began to race at the thought. "N-no."

"Oh boy! How she'll scream in the cute little language of hers! 'Non! I do not want eet!'" Milo roared with laughter. "We'll set those puppies free and have a little play time! Just like Winona!"

Mike clenched his teeth and shook his head. He put his hand on the side of the stairway wall, holding himself up. "No! I just want her to help me clean up. I want to look good for Flannery."

"Oh, maybe we can catch her right out of the shower. That way most of the work will be already done for us. That'd be a treat."

Mike covered his ears and pressed on, trying his best to ignore Milo's sickening plans. The phantom shut up as Mike tried to compose himself and knocked on the door.

"Oh boy! OH BOY!" Milo cheered, clapping his clawed hands together.

For once her dreams weren't haunted with nightmares or worries and instead Mitsu had slept quite peacefully. However, her trance-like slumber was rudely cut short as a high pitched scream, one that almost didn't seem to be possible by humans, erupted next to her. The girl shot up from her bed, rubbing her eyes and trying to take in the situation. However, she quickly deemed everything all right when she saw a tuft of pink hair. Only Sasha could always be ungodly loud. So damn loud.

"Really Sasha?" Mitsu mumbled, pushing her bangs out of her face. Her expression wasn't all too happy and she looked tired, especially with the tear stains all over her face. In fact, Mitsu was tired, and frankly, kind of pissed. Waking up to screams in real life were just as bad as waking up to them in her dreams. And then there was a knock on the door. "Really?!" Mitsu mumbled again to herself, hastily climbing out of bed. She ran her fingers through her hair, attempting to comb it and straighten her clothes which consisted of her purple skirt and a green camisole. It had been too hot in the volcano, it still was, so she had taken off her scarf and jacket. "When this is all over, I'm getting some new clothes," said to herself as she made her way over to the door.

Twisting the handle and pulling the door inwards she revealed Mike to the rest of the room. "Oops," Mitsu laughed, taking a look back at her roommates to make sure they were decent. They weren't. "Ah. . . Bye Mike! I mean! Hold on!" she yelled, slamming the door in the poor boy's face. The door groaned in protest after having been slammed so hard. "Sorry Sasha, I should have asked first," she apologized, turning slightly red in the face.

"It's okay." Sasha said, obviously disappointed. She frowned at Mitsu's complaint. "Well I'm sorry that I'm not used to waking up to strange Pokemon in my bed. I had no idea Kass even had a Persian!" While she whined the girl lowered herself on all fours, her grumpy frown replaced by a coy smirk. You want a kitty, Kass, how's this? She wiggled her butt side to side, pretending to wag her tail and with a playful 'meow' the pink haired girl pounced on her friend, pressing herself against Kasiya and purring loudly.

Mike heard a strange amount of noise coming from the room after he knocked. "I wonder if I woke them up. I hope I didn't."

"Oh boy!" Milo said once again, his giddy tone nothing short of creepy. "Maybe they're experimenting and they want to invite us in!"

"That's retarded. Not every girl is a lesbian."

"You don't know that." Milo retorted defensively. "Have you seen Sasha? If I was a girl I'd still want a piece of that!"

"Be quiet. You're going to get me in trouble." Mike replied, turning his attention forward as the door was opened. What greeted them wasn't the spunky pink-haired vixen, but a rather grumpy looking purple-haired girl who couldn't have woken up more then one minute ago. "Oh hey Mitsu." he said with a happy wave, smiling sheepishly. "Sleep well?"

"Aw man!" Milo protested. "It's this bi-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

Mike looked back at his phantom companion to see what the fuss was, and he saw Milo point a long, sharp finger and followed its lead to the occupied bed. Mike turned to see Sasha lying on top of Kasiya, her butt flying high in the air, wearing nothing but her underwear, purring. She looked like she was nuzzling her. Mike could see her ample chest squishing softly against Kasiya's body.

"It's perfect!" Milo cried out in joy. "Throwing his arms into the air."

"Haha! Woah, what?" was all Mike could say before Mitsu closed the door in their faces.

"N-No wait!" Milo begged, clawing at the door. "There's room for me there! I'm really skinny! I can fit! It's hot outside, you could get heat stroke! Quick! Everyone take their clothes off! It's for your own health!"

Mike couldn't help but laugh at Milo's urges, even though he'd be lying if he wasn't feeling a bit hot and bothered at the sight of Sasha in her underwear making a move on Kasiya. Okay, so that was an understatement. Mike shifted his hips to the side as he adjusted himself and coughed awkwardly.

Sasha looked up at Mistu after she closed the door. "What? Sweetie, I'm a professional underwear model. If complete strangers can look at these goods, Mike can." The girl winked at her purple haired friend. "It won't kill him." she giggled.

"WHAT?! A professiona-! You hear that, you little brat?!" Milo shouted. "She said we can look! OPEN THE DOOR!"

"Take your time." Mike said, raising his voice over Milo's.

"That's it!" Milo turned to Mike with fire in his eyes and jumped, stabbing him with his claws.

"Ow! Ow! Stop goddammit!" Mike yelled, fleeing from the ghost.

"No! I'm poking you full of holes so the gay can drip right out of you! Get up and smash that door down!"

Mike disappeared in a rush and left Kilik in the lab, alone. He let Cable out of his ball again and looked up at the Electivire. He looked glorious. He could hardly contain his excitement at the moment. The boy placed his hand on the fuzzy beast and smiled. "You look good!" he laughed, "Really!"

Electivire eyed Kilik with a quizzical look and laughed along with his trainer. He did look good, didn't he! He flexed his new muscles for Kilik and then scooped him up, placing him on his broad shoulders. He could remember when he was an Elekid, riding around on Kilik's shoulder to see the world. Something about this role reversal made his heart swell with joy.

"Well, Cable," Kilik said, placing his hand between the nodes on the Electivire's head, "Since Mike bolted, want to try out your new skill against Flareon here?" He smiled at the fox, and he knew the Fire-type didn't mind. "It'd be the perfect opportunity to test out your new body and get comfortable with it." When both Pokemon nodded, Kilik motioned for Cable to head towards the arena.

When they were finally there, Kilik hopped off his yeti's shoulder and jumped onto the floor, looking down over his shoulder at the boiling lava below. He whistled a bit and let Flareon run around the arena before having Cable join them. It would be just a quick spar, and if either of them got hurt too much, the lab was just a quick run away to heal 'em. "Okay," he stretched and groaned. "Flareon! You head over there, and Cable, you stand next to me." When their Pokemon were in position, Kilik swept his arm up into the air. "Flareon, attack with Flamethrower! Cable, defend or attack however you choose!"

Heating things up a bit, Flareon let loose his powerful Flamethrower and aimed it straight for the Electivire. After being Napalm's rival for so long, Flareon knew that Cable could handle Fire attacks better than any other Electric-type out there.

Cable trudged forward, clenching his large fists. It was even more apparent at how much speed he had lost due to this new form. "Vire!" Cable threw up a Light Screen, shielding himself from the Flamethrower and reducing the damage by a considerable amount. He heard Kilik call out for a Thunderpunch.

Perfect! Kilik thought, A chance just to see how hard he can hit now that he's evolved!

Cable ran forward, each step heavy and weighted. He reared his fist back and let it fly towards Flareon, half of him hoping that the little fox would dodge nimbly out of the way.

And that he did. Flareon hopped out of the way just in time to see Electivire's fist crash into the arena floor, leaving a large dent in the stone. He looked up at the Electric-type and smirked. Now THAT was powerful!

Kilik jumped up and cheered. "Yes! That's the way!" he laughed, "I'd hate to see anyone get in the way of Cable now!"
