Ceon sat down next to her, "I doubt we'll be able to house Max and Kuro if we move to your apartment, although that might be a good tthing. How many rooms does your apartment have?"

Layna looked at him. "Just two. And a large living room and a kitchen....rather basic..." She said. "Kamahl took me in, and allowed me to live above his shop." She reached down and took off her shoes, setting them beside her. She allowed her toes to trail in the tepid water, while her thoughts slowly laced into a clear picture. All they could do is do what was left. She was glad she hadn't brought much with her when she had begun living with Ceon.

"Mmm, sounds like a cozy little place. It'll be a nice place to raise our baby." Ceon stood up and threw his shirt off. "I can't remember the last time I went for a swim. Hmm, times have changed." Ceon spoke those last few words as he leaped into the cold water.

Layna squealed as the backlash of waves hit her full on. "ceon!" She yelled, her face angry, but her eyes radiant with laughter. She growled at him low and harsh. "Like I needed to get wet..." she grumbled quietly. But she could no sooner have yelled at him again, that she was laughing softly as she wiped the water from her arms.

Ceon climbed back up to the docks and shook off the water, "Dam that water is cold!" Ceon quickly threw his jacket and shirt back on and hugged Layna tightly, "Okay, that was a very stupid idea. I now hate cold water."

Layna smiled brilliantly as she hugged him back. She pulled back, and pausing for a moment, she kissed him squarely on the lips. "Stay just like this, Ceon. Stay happy, please..." She murmured as she stared up at him, her eyes fluttering between sadness and controlled happiness.

"As long as you're by my side, I will always be happy. And we'll be even more happy when the baby is born." Ceon kissed Layna passionately as soon as he finished those words.

Layna inhaled deeply, and let it out in a soft sigh. She was happy at his words. She felt truly wanted, and accepted for the first time in her life. She felt equal, and heavy hearted with so much affection and love for this white hair wolf she had grown to care for. She cuddled him, her hands on his back. He was so warm, and seemed to exude safety and assurance.

Ceon leaned his head close to Layna and bit her ear slightly, "I love you, Layna. And even in death, I will be next to you before you know it. " as he spoke he pulled outh the necklace that Zarathos gave him.The necklace that brought Zarathos back from Hell.

Layna found herself shuddering violently at the sight of the necklace. She looked up at Ceon, blinking. She wondered what had made him bring out that forlorn item. She felt a loathing for Zarathos, and the way he made her feel.

Ceon held it up in front of her. "Zarathos gave it to me. It's what helped him come back. That means if I die, I'll be able to come back. I'll never have to leave you."

He walked to the edge of a dock and dropped onto the water.As his feet touched the water the water froze directly under them making little platforms for him to float on.

Layna whimpered softly, a growl hidden with in it. "Please, just put it away..." She pleaded, shivering. The necklace, even though it would seem a mere trinket to others, filled her with fierce anger and fear.

Layna looked deeply into Layna's eyes and ran his fingers through her hair. "What's wrong Layna? You're acting like this is a bad thing?"

A flash came from across the water. and a voice from the same direction. "it's your fault! I can't see it anymore, WHAT IS MY PURPOSE CEON!?" Daiguren stood out on the water his feet resting on it's surface.
