Focht just listens, mental barriers start coming up to stop people from seeing what he was thinking. It was as if Gatia's words had sparked something.

Gatia: in an act to preserve their forces, both D and Apollo ordered most all of their forces to retreat, while they remained to investigate alone. Soon enough they found the source of the anamolies causing the men to dissappear and lose limbs. Two figures who kept themselves covered in cloaks had been using some kind of power to appear and dissappear around the investigation squads, and used those same powers to literally wipe the men from existence. A fight broke out, a fight in which would go on for maybe an hour or two, with no words at all from the cloaked figures. By the time the fight was finished, D and Apollo were drained significantly and the two fighters had retreated. Before D and Apollo could leave.... they were confronted by the real mastermind of the operation..... Thanatos.

Gatia: While they were weakened, Thanatos attacked D and Apollo. Though they put up a good fight, D seemed skeptic about fighting Thanatos. Unfortunately, that was his downfall. Thanatos managed to get a significant hit to D's head, knocking the wind out of him. In that moment, Thanatos took the oppurtunity and cast the same sealing magic that D had used on Mastema. D's body and soul were torn apart, the soul and mind locked away forever.

Gatia: D was sealed away, leaving Apollo and Thanatos in a one on one match. Immediately after D was sealed, Apollo took the chance and lashed out at Thanatos, hoping to make a direct hit. He did. The hit took off Thanatos's left arm and left eye. One would think that that injury would cost Thanatos the bout, but it didn't. While he was down and seemingly passed out, Apollo approached him, and Thanatos swung his left side at Apollo, throwing his blood at Apollo's face. In a lucky hit, the blood got Apollo in the eyes and caused him to become temporarily disabled. Seizing the chance, Thanatos used his remaining strength to lunge at Apollo and thrust his palm clean through apollo's chest, grabbing the man's heart and forcing it out his back. Even with Apollo's last breath, Thanatos wasn't finished. He turned to the still open nexus through which he had sealed D away, and thrust Apollo into it as well. Apollo's body was torn away, his mind and soul sealed just like Mastema's and D's.

Selyna lost in her daydream, bit her finger. Son of a ..... Catching Focht's message, she said to him in the same language. I hope you're not that quick in everything you do. She smirked grabbed a few more cokkies and made her way out sucking her bitten finger.

Focht responded to Selyna telepathicly in the language they both understood before speaking to Gatia. His eyes narrow on Gatia as he speaks.

Depends on what I am doing..... come and join me on the couch if you wish.

"I haven't been there in a long time...... Wait, how do you know all of this? ....... I don't think Thanatos would regret doing that so you aren't him."

Gatia: *chuckles* Oh I'm just a man who lost his friends and family because of what Thanatos did. Really, I hate the man. I came back to change what happens.....by either changing Thanatos....or ending his existence.
