Bran watched as the second person came in, another girl. He was becoming more and more concerned about the appearances of these people. Why now, all of a sudden, did they all come here? What was their purpose for this intrusion? Since they weren't doing anything in particular, Bran decided to return to Rowan. They needed to discuss some things concerning their visitors.

Bran stood and went into the castle taking the quickest route to reach Rowan and the first two girls. He jumped down from one of the balconies and moved briskly to Rowan's side, a grim look on his face.

"What do we do?" he whispers to Rowan. "Who are all these people?" His arm sweeps out marginally to indicate both the two girls in front of them and the new arrivals. His eyes looked dark, stormy almost, intense.

*She watches as Arianna swims up to the shimmery aura, seeing another man already on the other side, standing on the ground as if in regular air instead of water. As Arianna passes first her hand, then the rest of her through the light, she nervously steps up to the dome and sticks a finger through. Feeling air on the other side, she cautiously eased through, unsure about this area that not even Arianna seems to know.* Um... I made it... *she finally says, sounding very surprised*

Breeze saw the first man approaching at a fast pace, Bran, or so Makai had called him... surely he wasn't Lilo... She noted the austere expression gracing his face and wondered what had caught everyone's attention so suddenly. Bran whispered something, not loudly enough for her to catch, and made a slight gesture that included the two girls.

Seeing this gesture, she began to get slightly angry, knowing he was talking about them and not sharing. As looked at his tempestuous eyes, it became obvious to her that something was wrong and he was worried, but that neither stopped, nor hindered her growing ire.

"If you're going to talk about us, could you at least not do it so obviously in front of us?" She spat out, immediately regretting her short tempered, ill thought out remark. Despite her regret, she refused to back down from her statement and glared unflinchingly at the two men standing before her.

Loen pauses before the barrier as he reaches it. The rest seem fine, stnading in the open air on the other side of this shimmery wall. He pokes at it briefly with gentle touches of magic, mildly curious and far more concerned than his travelling companions appear to be. He wonders idly if some sort of alarm was triggered when they passed through. Clearly something was keeping the water at bay. Did anyone or anything care if the place was invaded? Or would some vicious monster appear and have at them? His booted feet settle to the floor of the lake as he mulls this over, and after a moment's more indecision he shifts, dissapearing halfway though his final step towards the barrier and appearing again in an instant, just inside the towering wall of water. Peering around warily, he tests the air in short, cautious breaths.

*She looks around, marveling at this new world, and suddenly realizes that the earlier man is standing nearby, though she could not recall how he had gotten there. She sees a castle towering in front of them and decides that there must be human habitation, and perhaps help, here.*
Maybe we should head to the castle and ask the owners to assist us on our quest *she suggests, and looks to the others for agreement.*

((Mr. Smiley?))

Lilo snarled at Breeze. The little daemon would not stand for anyone speaking to Ro that way - no one had that right but herself. Immediately, she was on all fours, her teeth bared and her fur on end.
'Lilo.' A single unspoken thought from Rowan brought his daemon back to a calmer state of mind. The dog stared mercilessly at Breeze, her eyes never leaving the girl's. But her teeth were no longer visible, and her stance relaxed a bit. Lilo's posture and glare were still aggressive, but not at the same level it had started at.

"Miss Breeze, I would appreciate it if you kept your tongue where it belongs." Rowan's gaze was hard and unyeilding, his expression allowed for no argument or protest. They were the uninvited guests, as well as suspected spies, they were in no position to grow angry. This castle was built of secrets, for it to be so found by such a large number of people within the span of an hour by chance was not only unlikely, it was impossible. When Rowan turned his attention back to Bran, it was only to put a hand on Bran's shoulder reassuringly.
Rowan looked at his daemon, his expression unreadable, but the meaning behind it was unmistakable.

Lilo was off in an instant, her claws clicking against the rocky ground so fast that it sounded more like a whir, and she disappeared behind an outcrop of rock.
Rowan stared at the girls again, his gaze stony and unfeeling. It was easy to interpret the far-off glance in Serene's eye, he knew immediately that she also knew that they weren't the only uninvited guests here. His expression didn't change as he turned around. "I do not know who they are or how they are connected. These two are here, I will take them to our high sitting room." Rowan spoke softly in reference to the 'sitting room' at the very top floor of the castle. It wasn't so much a sitting room as it was an empty chamber. The walls seemed to be made of eyes and ears, Rowan and Bran would know everything that happened with their guests while they were in that room. "The other four are being held. Would you like to fetch them here, or shall I?"
Rowan's voice was soft enough that none aside from Bran could hear them, and he made no gestures to indicate who he was speaking of - though Bran had earlier made that quite clear.

It didn't take Lilo long to find the intruders, her sense of smell was top-notch, and their scents were drifting right towards her. She growled softly as she approached the two women and two men. She appears around the rocks, russet fur afire in her aggression and her intelligent eyes ablaze. What were they doing here, anyway?
'I have them.' Lilo whispered softly into Rowan's mind. She'd hold them here until either Rowan or Bran was ready to take care of them.
'Good. Thank you' was the quiet reply.

((All I could associate was the avi you had had. With the big smiley face.))

Seeing the dog come around the corner, Brody takes a step forward, giving himself room to move but keeping close enough for a quick dive through the wall. "Firey little puppy, eh?" Instinctively reaching for his gun, and not finding it, he swore loudly.

Still surveying the area quite interested in the workings of such a place, Arianna only noticed the dog when Brody swore and pulled her attention back to the present. She almost laughed when she realized for what reason Brody swore. Though this certainly was no laughing situation.

She regarded the dog silently taking in its stance and stopped at its eyes. Smart, smart dog, she thought taking in the alertness and intelligence in its gaze, or rather glare.

Having no weapons of her own or, really, any wish to engage in combat with anything, she took a fraction of a step backwards to stay out of the way of anyone who may wish to do something though by the looks of it, the animal was not going to attack as it stopped as it made itself known instead of attacking before they were aware of its presence.

Bran did nothing but glance at Breeze when she spoke and then returned his attentions to Rowan and also to Lilo, who after a bit was sent off for the new arrivals. He listened to Rowan's words, calming slightly under his relatively confident reassurances. "I'll bring them here." He said and stalked off in the direction he had come from and Lilo had gone without another glance at the girls.

He didnt quite take his time in getting there but he could have gotten there faster. He composed himself before he reached them to be cordial, if not friendly to their.. guests. He strolled around the corner, hands clasped behind his back, to see one of the men reaching for some nonexistant thing and swearing quite audibly.

"Is that language you should use in front of ladies, sir?"

After his mischiefs concerning the first two girls and the uncertainty of more arrivals, he had reverted to his more gentlemanly self. His sense of fun was dampened at this impossibility of so many visitors in so close a time span. In all their years here, Rowan and he had never had a single visitor. This development was preposterous.

Breeze watched the dog react to her short tempered statement, but refused to back down. Instead she glared at the dog and its master, refusing to back down in the slightest. Now that she had gained a bit of courage and had some anger to bolster it, she would not let them bully her around.

When Makai spoke, she didn't answer, but continued to glare at them, as her body grew rigid in anger and defiance. She undestood that visitors were probably not often seen here and that they were, for some reason, suspect, but she hated secrets and blatant rudeness. They were talking about Serene and herself, and hadn't even tried to hide it. If they were going to be rude, then she was not going to be any more polite than they were.

She saw the dog run off, with Bran following behind her, and unconsiously ground her teeth. "They're not going to tell me anything," she thought to herself, feeling herself slide into a cynical mood, "and neither will Serene. That's just great..."

Sensing her sister's utter annoyance and frustration at being left out of the loop, Serene spoke hesitantly from her trance, still watching Arianna, Leon and the two unknown people as they entered the barrier.

"There are.. others who've come. I don't.. recognize.. some of them, don't.. know the.. bulk of them. Air is there. The man, Loen is there. The others, I've never sensed before."

Her voice was soft, quiet, but audible for those who listened as Rowan was surely to be doing. The knowledge that she knew some of these new arrivals probably would not be taken lightly nor interpreted in a very nice manner. They were obviously suspected of some invasion or of some other equally invasive action and these people showing up was not a very good indication of anything else. Especially since their arrival seemed so much more aggressive and militatistic than her own and Breeze's had been.

To hopefully furthur lighten Breeze's mood, Serene sent the image she was watching to her so she could see what was going on as well. She continued watching as Lilo and then Bran arrived. Bran's manner surprised her. Having only their previous encounter to judge by, he was now extremely well behaved. Formal. It was a curious change. However, her attentions were more focused on the new arrivals. She observed them as she'd observed many others assessing their actions and mannerisms.

Breeze was surprised when Serene began to speak, knowing that she usually lost touch with her surroundings when she was in the trance, and felt some of her ire leaking away as she was updated about the events.

"No wonder they're not happy," she thought, "I guess they have more right than I thought to be suspicious of us."

As the picture began showing in her mind, she examined the people standing around looking slightly awed, confused, or wary, and realized she didn't know any of them. "Oh well, I guess we'll just see what happens," she thought. She watched as Bran walked up to the group of people, and was astonished when by his polite, gentlemanly behaviour. It was a vast contrast to the side that he had showed herself and Serene. She made note that he could be polite when he wanted, and avidly continued watching the proceedings.

*Caellynn noticed the dog as it came running toward them. She watched as one of the men reached for something and began swearing when he found nothing to reach for, and stared, aghast at the colorful language spewing from his mouth.*

"Is that language you should use in front of ladies, sir?"

*hearing a voice, she turned back toward the dog to see a man standing politely near it. She examined the man, finding him to be light-skinned with dark hair, and considered asking for his help. Finally, she decided it couldn’t hurt to try, and addressed the man directly.* Hello, there. Are you the owner of this castle?

"Is this a situation most ladies should be in, sir?" Taking a short bow, Brody took a more casual position, yet still one from which he could fight.
