Just feeling? She took that as a good thing...for him at least. He was so logic minded that sometimes she feared he missed out on the more simple things such as indeed feeling...it made one vulnerable sometimes and most didn't like that. A little blink, rising out of the haze she was somewhat in as he started to push her away but not far enough to break whatever odd connection they had...that didn't really feel so odd. Eyes still half lidded, she smiled lightly at him as he framed her face and asked for words...one or two words that he probably wanted to help put himself in some kind of order to understand with. "Mm...connected. Alive. At peace...It's really not something that can get any one description."

Watching her closely, he finally noticed her slitted pupils as well and could only assume that his had gone the same way. Another thing to note about the potion and what it could do... There was still a part of him unsatisfied with this and somehow apprehensive about being in such foreign mental territory though. But what could he do? "I know. I just..." Well, it really was about remembering this experience wasn't it? And it was worth remembering because so far nothing bad had happened yet either. Connected was probably a good word though and again to satisfy his inherent curiosity, he broke the physical contact and felt his insides twisting uncomfortably in response. Breathing hitching, he selfishly returned his hands to her face then let them stroke downwards to her neck as the pleasant feelings returned as expected, almost twice as strong as before. "This will still happen in natural form?"

"I know...you just want to name it. It's okay." That's what he did to ground himself to something so foreign to him that it perhaps made him uncomfortable. But that was a quirk that she had known about for a long time now that was one of. It was endearing in a way that only he had really. But she felt a growl just starting to rise in her throat as he decided to try and experiment again before it turned to a purr as he either didn't like what happened or it was further experimentation, not that she cared. Only enjoyed the feeling of his hand sliding against her skin. Oh yes, purring...that wonderful noise it seemed only the females of thier kind could get out in any form. But it didn't obscure her words any, "I would assume so. Does that bother you?" Wouldn't bother her a bit.

Desdemona knew it. she knew what was happening in the bowels of that other ship. Dragons were large creatures, requiring a great deal of space. because of that, thier 'signals' had to cover large amounts of space to be effective. Not that she was interested really in Kanzec, but it was amusing. Though she did get the feeling that it might be a good idea to get those two out of the ship before they did anything like change forms inside it. that would probably make for a very upset Captain Nereem.

"I think we might be able to get moving sooner than you think, Hunter."

Before noting the two elves coming up the gangplank..and a neutral formed midget dragoness. She was tiny, wasn't she.

"you three enjoy the water? And you might want to make sure little Sky doesn't come past the mast. It's a dragon thing."

Yes, he wanted to name it but seemed to come to the realization that it wasn't going to be possible no matter how long he did this. 'Connection' was the only word even mildly close to defining what they were feeling, that much he knew. Thus he merely sat there and brushed his hands along her neck and beneath her jaw. Foreign motions he'd never done before but his body was doing them anyways and though he blinked in surprise at the purr he heard moments later, again his body told him that was supposed to happen... she was fine and he should continue. "Yes, a little." If his body would still want to maintain this connection to her in natural form, then he would have to touch her. But he would have clawed paws then... and a fully scaled and armored physical body as well... both of which he had been taught served to fight. "I don't want to hurt you." Oh, the contradictions in this plan.

Oops too late as she pranced on deck and paused, tilting her head. Wait a moment? An inquisitive noise from her before she plopped down on the deck in a little crouch, tilting her head as if to understand things better. Well...she knew those particular instinctual signals on the airwaves. But they weren't the ones she was used to picking up. After all, rider dragons were more or less broken of their natural commital ways to single partners.

"They did. I don't do large bodies of water." Simply stated as she sighed and crossed her arms. She'd be happy with the barrels of water for bathing that were stored on board...at least she knew she could somewhat control that particular watery enviroment. "What dragon thing?" Were they doing something that would make her want to hurt them all?

She closed her eyes against his motions, letting him do as he wished for the moment without complaint because frankly she was enjoying this immensely. Self of potion, she asn't sure but she knew this was nice. But her eyes fluttered open at his admission that it would bother him...well that wasn't good. Jae had to think to get past the little haze her body so desperately wanted to slip into. Blinking and trying to understand it dawned on her what he was getting at. "You won't, trust yourself." It was probably hard for him to understand seeing as yes he didn't spend much time in that form and thus lacked real interaction principles. She knew he had when he was little before everything had happened to him, but that was a long time ago and he was still a child...children were used to their claws and such not hurting their playmates or elders. "I'm clumsy, not fragile. Don't fret." Somehow she thought even if he managed to snag her with a talon or perhaps other damage causing means that she wouldn't care too much.

"It was lovely. Thank you for asking." Shyrae was a bit surprised Des had decided to give her the time of day but she let things pass and eyed Sky as she began acting strangely. "Yes, what dragon things? What's Sky sensing? Is it danger?"

"I knew you'd agree. It is almost time. Please instruct your crew to pay them no mind and deliver the message to Captain Deacon as well." Nodding to them both, she appeared back below deck a few lengths away from the cuddling couple. Perfect. Clearing her throat gently but loud enough to be heard, Eilynne folded her hands and nodded to the two dragons. "It is nearly time. The sun will shortly be on it's downward course and Rahsaveer is creating your cloud cover as we speak. Do you both feel fully prepared to do as I have requested and you have committed to?"

He wasn't sure how she could be so confident in his abilities when he himself was questioning them. Then again, her voice was softer now and with her eyes closed, she seemed to be dreaming or just not fully conscious... her mind probably on her own thoughts too. But her words were still reassuring to a certain degree, probably thanks to whatever was flowing through his system at this point in time. Though his body was still doing that tug-of-war thing with his rational mind so he didn't say anything, merely let the silence agree with her until interruptions came in the form of Eilynne appearing again. Which did make him blink in surprise because he'd become accustomed to just the presence of Jae with him in the darkness. Hands were dropped, source of pleasurable heat gone, and he glanced momentarily back to Jae before nodding to the Laerethe. "I think we're ready." At least in terms of the potion working and because nothing bad had happened yet, a part of him was still convinced that the rest could be easily accomplished with just some extra effort.

"Right-o." Oh yes she was very very amused at all of this and happily tended her muffin and the accompanying bottle of rum. "Alright boys, keep yourselves to the ship and only she ship. I see wandering eyes then its' the yardarm for you all. I want this ship ready to go the moment I scream it at you." Giggling again in that rare girlish way before a look to Thobias and a cabin boy was sent to the Chimera to relay for Hunter to keep put but be ready to leave at a moment's notice. "We're not supposed to be understanding any of this, are we?"

She took his silence as two things...one that he wasn't sure he agreed with her but at the same time wasn't going to fuss and thus hope for the best. She knew the lengths and force it took for them to hurt each other, get past thick scales and what not without the right angles. Though yes, she lacked some of the more protective structuring of their kind, but she still felt okay about it all. If he hurt her, he wouldn't be meaning it anyway and he would probably look to soothe her afterwards.

She probably would of growled again at his hands dropping but it was restrained as that familair voice broke into their serene little moment. A few blinks and she forced herself to stand, giving a nod. "Ready as can be..." Or at least she thought...who knew until things happened. But for now, her and Kaz merely followed along after Eilynne...hm, hopefully they were going to get another set of instructions....how did one go about starting this kind of thing?

"If we are, we're all in trouble because I don't have a clue." Shaking his head and taking a swig of rum. But I'm alright not knowing what's going on. Just hoping this will be good for Fire and Ice."

Nodding, she gestured. "Then come with me." Leading them back up to the top deck, she glanced up at the clouds that were laying on as thick as icing on a cake and she turned to the two. "I assume you have made your decision on whether or not you would like me to accompany you?" She could tell by their eyes, she was intruding on private moments. "Very well then." Stepping forward, she took Jae gently and pulled her to the gangplank. "Change forms and take to the sky, Jaebell. Kaznec will join you shortly." Lowering her voice, she took Jae's fingers and gently rested her own much smaller hands in her palm. "Do not fear him, Jaebell. Whatever happens, do not fear him."

Rahsaveer walked over and shook his head. "Lynnie, let them do their thing. You wouldn't want someone peeking over your shoulder, would you?" Clapping Kaznec on the lower back since that's about where he could reach, he tugged on his hand and watched Jae as she moved off the ship. "Just chase her my good man. That ought to get you two started and if you forget the procedure, improvise. Have fun. After all, it's kind of like your wedding night."

Desdemona looked at Sky and moved over to her, giving a slight challenging growl and pushing her back some.

"the lovebirds are getting, um..married in a sense is the best way to put it. however, certain other triggers go with that. triggers that might set off our little friend here. after all, when you breed dragons like Riders do, there are bound to be certain side effects."

watching Sky, and glancing at Shyrae.

"Think of it this way. when dragons mate, they mate for life. so there are triggers that alert all the dragons around about what's going on. this means if you want a shot, last chance at it. usually involving some form of fighting. in the Rider's case, they don't do mating for life. the interbreed for the best features they are looking for. so if you want strong, sturdy dragons, how would you figure out which are the best one?"

letting them come to a conclusion.

"You throw them together and let them fight for the right to breed. winner gets to extend thier bloodline. and we don't want our little friend here tempting fate with a probably more so than usual aggressive pair."

No matter how many times she did it, he was still going to think it was odd that Eilynne seemed to be able to read his mind. But after that little discovery experience in the hull of the ship, he was sure that this would be better if they just did it themselves. Two people made a connection, three was probably just going to be an interruption. He was feeling oddly unfocused now, probably from the way his body was rebelling uncomfortably since it no longer had that connection. Golden eyes watched as Jae transformed and soon disappeared into the clouds, now so thick that even the moonlight was having trouble getting past them.

Visibly jumping as he was clapped on the back, he blinked. Wedding night? No one had said anything about that... and he wasn't supposed to have sex with her, right? He was supposed to stop before that. No, he wasn't going to forget the procedure. Physical discomfort was making him fidgety now though and glancing to the sky again, he took a deep breath and changed forms, leaving behind a puff of crimson as he moved into the magically created fluff. Chase her, hmm? And he didn't even have to think further as his body decided that it was the right thing to do and he let out a roar, snaking his way through the white nothingness until he caught sight of her bladeless tail and immediately followed suit. First step: dance. Well, he'd just have to catch her first.

Sky cowered a little from that growl as the older and bigger dragoness challenged her to stay put. She knew what sounds meant but she didn't understand why she had to stay put. Then again...was it not her turn? Watching draconic forms disappear into cloud cover she gave a snuff of displeasement.

She rolled her eyes. "Oh by Innoruuk's Cauldron! This is not the time for such things. Now we're going to get side tracked by love sick dragons who are too focused on each other to be any help!" Throwing up her arms and shaking her head.

She was lounging on the deck, curiously watching but that was all but gone when visibility was killed off. Did giggle at that roar though. "Ah men are men in any form aren't they?" A chuckle, drink of rum and another look to Thobias who was lounging with her by this point. "So...when they're together in their neutral states...and feel like having a little fun...what do you think it the best position to keep everyone's wings from being squished or in the way?" Because she was like that and found it amusing to ask such things.

A nod to Eilynne question as she seemed to guess what they were going to say anyway. But a brief walk away with the little star branded being and a blink. It seemed without him as close as he had been, she was feeling a certain loss at the moment and it made her uncomfortable and cold. And for a dragon who was cozy with the ice element that was odd to an extent. Don't be afraid? Were things going to get bad? Shaking the thought from her head she nodded and walked off, a skip jump to put herself into the air and traversing the upward distance for a while in present for before that familiar silvery mist and she was alone above cloud cover. A certain wave of apprehension yet excitment slipped over her as she looked around a moment. Hm...she couldn't see where he would be coming from.

A few wingbeats to get some more altitude as if that was going to help her situation. A circle to two before that noise caught her off guard and she stalled a moment into a glide. Slightly looking back it was no sneak attack from the fire based dragon as he sliced through air with purposeful ease apparently. For a moment she stayed put...before something clicked and she took off hte air breaks and arced into a loop to avoid him before putting on the speed. Something told her to make him work to catch her and not just let him win so easily. A certain playfulness to it all.

And at first he thought that it was all going to be just that simple. He caught up to her easily enough and for a brief moment, she was silhouetted by the purple desert moon until she looped up backwards and headed back the direction he had come. He stopped and blinked, thinking that he had somehow lost his chance before his body merely gave him a metaphorical pat on the back and made an easy turn backwards to find her again. Kaz, it's all a game, remember? Just "have fun", like Rahsaveer had said. Alright, he'd just continued chasing her then... but until when? A part of him was still wanting to be satisfied with that newly discovered connection, so the logical thing to do was get close enough to touch her. Somehow... Banking through another turn, he cut her off in midair and allowed her to past him but not before he let the underside of his tail brush across her neck. Oh yes, the fire was still there and he was going to lose it if he didn't catch up.

It was almost like he was hunting her, but not at the same time. And there was something satisfying about avoiding him and making him want to try harder to get to her. A glance or two behind herself to keep track of where he was when he was going easy on the tracking, but he was also using the thick cloud bank as cover too...crafty and smart. Air breaks again as he managed to cut off her flight path but a quick flip and fold of opposing wings allowed an escape, or perhaps he allowed it himself. A satisfied purr as his tail brushed against her neck, despite being in flight those tail blades of his being watched. She was almost upset when forward motion cut that contact...well that wasn't fun. A roll in the air to let her switch direction and arc back toward him...only to bypass him not come back the second time...oh yes, she was messing with him now. Didn't know exactly why she was doing it...but she was more or less goading him into continuing and looking to frustrate him and make him try harder by not letting him get what he wanted. Instincts were odd...
