What do my fellow guildies suggest?
Moar Supernatural.

...I'm done. Most of the "comedy" shows I watch aren't intentionally funny (or it's an anime referencing another anime). So all I have to suggest is that new series Flashforward, which isn't a comedy, but is pretty interesting.

Ohhhhhhohohoh. Don't think I won't download the second season of Supernatural some time. And all of you know who to blame when I finish the season and feel the need to discuss pant sizes and glass ceilings. wink

HAH! I kid. Maybe. I haven't watched it yet...

I thought of looking into Flashforward. Is it really messed up that the main reason I am subcouniously ignoring the show is due to its name? Everytime I hear it I think of Disney's Flash Forward. Yeahyeahyeah I know - get over it. What is wrong with me!? gonk

Community is awesome and since you like Kristin Chenowith, I recommend Pushing Daisies if you haven't already checked it out.

I've thought of Community; how is it different from Parks and Recreation and The Office? And I've been into Pushing Daisies on and off and all its frosty cuteness since it aired. Now that its canceled I should sit down and watch all the way through...

MORE OF MY CRAZY: Modern Family being successful makes me irritated that Arrested Development was not treated the same. *Shakes fist at FOX.*

Community doesn't employ the mockumentary style of The Office and Parks and Recreation. It's much more like a traditional sitcom, except, you know... funny.

How is it? I refused to watch it when it was on because, well. ._. I already had a favorite vampire detective, who had been cancelled I think less than a year when it came out!

I liked it a lot.

Was sad that they were canceled. Wasn't enough to last me the whole week of my 'resting time'.

last season, I watched a few episodes of Parks and Recreation and found it really really boring and not funny. I was surprised it wasn't cancelled, to be honest. We watched an episode (or most of one anyways) of Flashforward with the inlaws while we were on vacation. Brian's mom said "this is... weird" and I agree. I wasn't too impressed with it.

Honestly, I guess there aren't any shows I really watch anymore. I'll watch Family Guy and all that crap when it's on if I'm around and that's about it, I guess. That's kinda sad. xp

I like South Park better than Family Guy. They're both pretty funny.

I don't think I've seen an entire episode of South Park this season. I've seen parts of that dead celebrity one and I think that's about it. Sometimes South Park can be a little gross

Waitwaitwait... The Venture Brothers just premiered last week! You all should be watching!

...Unless you haven't seen seasons 1-3.

Then DVD shopping is in order~!

I would be watching it... if I had a cable box! ;o; Wasn't able to get out of work in time this week to pick it up...I'm dying! The Venture Brothers has to be my favorite animated show (though Futurama comes close).

I like South Park as well, but sometimes Family Guy's randomness can be a bit too much. I think it definitely always goes for the cheap laugh there, and it's rare that the funny parts are actually part of the plot, rather than their trademark inserted randomness.

I don't think I follow a single live action networked comedy show. Curb makes me shake my head more than laugh. Dexter is way more funny than it should be...
