Yeah, no disagreement. I was just soundly beating down the idea from a practicle stand point so others know exactly why its a bad idea.

So what would you do if someone used one in battle?
Fight them openmindedly like any other opponent?
Or try to weigh their effectiveness down with science by way of "justified" puppetmastering?
Or go back and forth with them OOC about it...

Nihilistic_Impact Yeah, no disagreement. I was just soundly beating down the idea from a practicle stand point so others know exactly why its a bad idea. Even then though people don't use Gunblades as ranged weapons often. They use them as blades with a ranged backing. Exactly the OPPOSITE of all of our examples and notions. Seeing however that when given the option a normal human being would pick a bow over a sword. Simply because they don't have to be there to pick another blow from a rival sword. Where as everyone in the fantasy world would rather steel themselves up and jump into the fray. Just one of those bluntly brandished signs that we're dominated by a fantasy world, and practicallity has little to no meaning to people who play the game. This is why the gunblade will always be used by FF losers, and we can stop it.

I would let them use it of course, but then I would take advantage of the disavantages it gives the user.
Really, I would treat it like any other weapon someone uses. Deal with it.
You can deal with it, it's called a gun. Hell you could even take them on with a regular sword and still beat on them.

rolleyes Logical Reaction Stack Fighting is reduced down to the point where you can react in mid motion to shift directions or to flow off the first set of actions into a different set of actions, thus swinging to punch someone and they go to block and you would shift the direction of the arm and hand to obtain a better chance at striking or even doing an elbow block. So logical reaction stack fighting is placing the actions in the proper order of evens and sorting them out accordingly. I wouldnt expect you to understand that.
You ignore anything you dont understand. 3nodding
And I know you will turn this around on me and say I ignore attacks, but you must understand that I am much more skilled, and when mechanics and details are not presented to me it makes me feel like I am fighting a noob, such a Gelmax, and many of the Levaithan people. rofl
rolleyes So when my LRS fighting shifts in motion and loses the force that is needed to do damage, maybe if you would ever read, if you know how, which seems like no one on Gaia can seem to do. But if you can read, I constantly shift the weight and movement of my body to equal out the force which was lost, and thus my attacks are mainly fatal blows to weak areas, or crippling moves. So dont try to rip apart the power of my attacks when I know far more than you.
Crawly why would I even fight you? I know the out come and you know the out come, I would win hands down and you would lose. 3nodding

xd As to preaching literacy and the conversation at hand, I read enough to understand the situation at hand, and from the experience the other day with you in the Lu Bu totaly manipulating his post to how you seen fit was unexceptable.
So Crawly apparently equals..
I could go on forever on what you equal.
P.S. I love you 3nodding

Nihilistic_Impact I would let them use it of course, but then I would take advantage of the disavantages it gives the user. Disadvantages. Scientifically, as in weighing it down with scientific realism? Or do you mean disadvantages by their weapon's own theorized design specs... taking their word for it I mean.

Ertai Vexic Crawly why would I even fight you? I know the out come and you know the out come, I would win hands down and you would lose. 3nodding You fought me before. and lost an OOC battle... you failed yourself as a roleplayer because you halted the fight.. to debate the effectiveness of a single knee attack. As if you wouldn't get another chance in the world to do it. As if the entire fight depended on that attack hitting. You yelled and screamed about it. Typed in caps. Everything. Then left. Yes.. your ooc crybaby tactics make you the KING OF KINGS in rp combat. Hahaha.

I will take what infomation they say about it, but from there I can formulate a responce. I am not to caught up on realism to make a fight boring.
