The fact that Rush's foot was lightly resting in a pool of half-liquid, half-solid pink stuff was a sign the attempt had been mediocre at best. A few tendrils waved about, grasping for anything it could but coming up with nothing. Rush laughed a bit at the will of the blind artifical pool and let it return to the great ether of chakra. Rush's patience had always been a virtue, as most little kids were impatient, and a lot of that carried over to adulthood. Rush had the will to proceed without dwelling on the past or obsessing about the future too much. His goal for the time was to learn this jutsu, and he had only spent about one day practicing. Come tomorow, he would most likely do even better as he would on the days following, until he could make coherent clones. Giving one last go for the day, Rush put his all in, attempting to end strong.

As Raisuke was making his way back into the village he couldn't help but wonder what Giglamesh-sensei would have in store for him next. No matter what it might be it was bound to be strenuous and he would need to get revitalized somehow. He would have to head home first. He needed to get some dry clothes since these ones were sticking to him already. And it probably wouldn't hurt to get some food in his system. Afterall, he would most likely need his chakra to do whatever Giglamesh had in mind for him. Suspense was always a killer, that whore.

At this point, Rai had a decent advantage on her as far as any sort of race to meet up at the Kage tower. So Amaya didn't bother to push herself to get there. The real question was whether or not she would just head straight over or stop at her small apartment. The two locations were annoyingly far away from one another at the moment. She looked down at her attire - her short, legs and shoes covered in mud from the shift of the wet snow to the dry grounds of the canyon- and sighed softly. Whatever she was about to go through would just get her all dirty all over again, but she was going to the kage tower. "So it can't be helped then. I won't be long." With her mind made up, Amaya hustled off to make her stops, glad for the chance to get a small break in to recover her energy.
