It was close as those bubbles would pop against the tombstone only inches from his feet. So close, but he would manage to avoid it barely as the Tympole would slap it's tail against the ground in irritation of it's failure. The pokemon flicking it's tail side ways as it does a backwards roll to end up staring at it's opponent. It was ready now for whatever the cat had in mind ...as he made sure that his back was to the water.
His real defense as he waits for the cat to attack.

It was close indeed, but now, with him moving... and the Tympole moving...
There were two sets of eyes on Claudandas' side, even if Jasmine only had one visible just now, she looked to the Tympole moving back... and quickly picked up on it's thoughts, "Claudandas, it's heading backward, cut it off from the water!"
The Purrloin still had the advantage of maneuverability, out of the water, the Tympole was... well... like a fish out of water, but he, he leapt from tombstone to tombstone, and now, he leapt down, the points let him jump right behind the Tympole now, putting himself between the water and the water type, before a set of claws suddenly emerged from his paws...
And he Scratched, viciously for the soft skinned tadpole's backside now!
[If you want this battle... you're not getting away unless you surrender!]
((EDIT: Wow, this is a return to form >_> ))

(humph one lucky hit)
The tympole declares as blood run down his back. He was in pain though how the cat had gotten to his back with it facing the water was a mystery to him. Still he was done yet as he sent out another pulse of water at the cat. He was determine not to lose.

The Tympole would quickly see the answer for how Claudandas had managed it, because when the water pulse came at such close range, he leapt again, going for the tombstones... as long as this lay of points was here for him to exploit, he would keep using them as a way to dodge attacks AND get the advantage on the Tympole by using them to leap from one patch to the next!
And now, here he was again, but could he be lucky twice with the same maneuver?

(11-5+11-9= 8dmg)
The attack would collide as it would seem that there was a differences in trying to avoid such an attack. The water pulse would drench the cat as the tympole smirk darkly. (see I can dish as well as take)
He would jump backwards as his tail was held upwards as he ready himself to use his tail to slap the ground and push himself into the water.

CLAUDANDAS = 10 HP REMAINING
The cat was struck, and over and over he flung through the air, smacking past the line of tombstones to the ground, hissing slowly as he got up, shaking himself to try and remove the water now dripping from his fur!
[...Not bad...]
And while he was recovering, the Tympole was about to leap away!
But that in itself left an opening... one that Jasmine again would not allow to go unnoticed, "Claudandas! Pay Day!"
It didn't matter if she said the attack out loud, because the Tympole had made itself vulnerable, slapping its tail and launching into the air towards the water... now it had no way to dodge.
It was down to aim, as the Purrloin leapt back to the top of the tombstones, already a set of coins glittering in his paw before he would fling them, glistening thruogh the air toward the water type! [On it!]

(16 - 8 + 11 - 9 = 10dmg)
Hp: - 4
The pokemon would go down .....as he hit the ground hard. His body sliding over the edge and into the water ...though the fact that this was a water type pokemon meant that there would be few problems from the splash as he vanishes from view. This battle was over ....as their path lay open and clear for the group to continue.
Nothing would stop them from reaching the heart of the place now.

As Claudandas would waltz back to Jasmine, still slightly dripping, he licked his paws and groomed his fur, trying to remove the excess moisture and dirt away before looking back.
A shiny Tympole, it was a rare find... sadly not one they could do much for.
But promise they wouldn't fail here.
Jasmine looked back at the island, it was still covered with fog, but still unmistakably dark and devoid, as if standing there itself could drain the life of a person.
But still... the Spiritomb had not appeared yet.
Either it was resting, or...
She tried not to imagine the thought of it waiting just behind her... but now was the perfect time, she had one chance to set up her trap before the spectre awoke!
She reached down and two pokéballs were grabbed, thrown forward, "Lindbergh, Ironclaw! Come on out!"
And in turn the Gliscor and the Skarmory would appear, the latter with eyes still covered, standing very docile and calm, all things considered, and Lindbergh stretching, her tail racking back and forth as she cackled.
[Looks like we're all set for the party, huh?]

Jasmine moved forward before them, a hand on Ironclaw's back calmingly, before pointing the bird where she wanted her to be focused on.
"We need to be quick to set this trap... I need you to use Stealth Rock."
Compliance was a given thing as those massive Gliscor eyes lit up and rocks began to rearrange, and swirl and twist and implant themselves, and with Ironclaw, as Jasmine blinked and stood back... watched those wings open, as metal feathers stretched and turned, as she too would summon the rocks, working together, the trap was being set!
Well... that certainly told Jasmine something new about her Skarmory, if she could use Stealth Rock too!
But she returned her eyes to the center of this island... it wasn't just about leaving a surprise for the ghost...
No, for in all the movement of rock, Jasmine's eyes were scanning for something in particular.
That one rock needed.
The Keystone.
Where was it?

The area they were working on was only one side of the massive island that stood before them. A place where tombstones stretched from one side to the other ...and in the darkness ...they couldn't see it, but beautiful flowers grew here in the moonlight and there was a crystal clear pool in it's center. Though for the moment ....it couldn't be seen as the Spiritomb kept his area hidden ...including in the center the monument building set up at it's heart.
No, this was his lands as his eyes narrowed as he watches their trap.
It was a good strategy to attack first ....to get the upper hand, but this wasn't a creature that would be entering the field. It was already there ....as the tombstone garden started to become darker. The sky that once was foggy started to crackled over head ....with a other worldly energy. It was time ...the group had waited ....and he was making his move then .....as the darkness descends ...as each tomb stone started to pulse and glow with his power.
Finding his Keystone wouldn't be as easy as last time with all the tomb stones littering the ground.
Eyes in the darkness would focus on them ...as the ghost would appear above one of the largest tombs. The stones only worked if their opponent was entering the field ....but there was no entering for the ghost. Though he wasn't alone as one of the tombstones started to glow on the opposite side of him ....the bird would slowly appear her eyes devoid of life as the Vullaby would sit upon the stone. As ghostly as death as she had been the last time she had helped them out of the lifestream.
Her eyes would fall upon them as she spoke for the creature.
((One on one ...or this entire graveyard will become your battle field))
It was a threat ...and a warning wrapped up into one as the other tomb stones started to glow ....different colors. Afterall, he was the master of these lands, and they were about to find out what that exactly meant.

Trouble was starting.
More than Jasmine or the rest of them could have believed. It was just as the Tympole had thought of them... they had went in with a plan... but now that plan was worthless, no traps, no superior bumbers.
No, all they could do was fight it, single file, like a conveyor belt leading them one by one to demise.
And Jasmine couldn't even heed the warning herself.
So it was up to them to do it for her.
[Let me fight it first.]
Heads turned and looked now at the Skarmory, Ironclaws talons were squeezing into the ground, as if feeling for the Spiritomb to feel her anger upon it.
[I can weaken it where you others cannot.]
[Now someone get these bandages off of my face.]
Looks were exchanged, between both Claudandas and Lindbergh, but it was of course Lindbergh who was closest, that now snipped away with claws, who unravelled the bandages as the gauze and the poultice's fell away.
Ironclaw's face was still mangled, but her eyes peered open slowly, as she stood forward.
"Wait, what-"
Jasmine had went to move forward to help her, but the Purrloin attached himself over his foot, and a Gliscor pulled her back out of range... it was clear.
This was between the two of them now.
Eyes opened, and the Skarmory looked up at the Spiritomb, such maddening, wild eyes... but hers, how terrible did they look as they Leered upon him.
[Never did I believe one such as I would be before you... and now... I wonder... which of us will walk away from this...]

The Spiritomb seemed to be laughing at her .....as the Vullaby spirit did so in a language that both pokemon and human could understand. Eyes would fall upon the girl.
"I gave up my soul to save you ...and you still came back? HOw stupid are you?"
The Vullaby cackled her beak in such a way that it seemed as if she had broken them. Though they were all together as she flapped her short wings.
"I thank you for heeding our warning ...I had no wish to have to attack you."
"Good luck."
She would becomes like mist as the master of this place moves forward swiftly. Since they were not taking advantage of their speed in this match ...he would as the bird stood there ....there wasn't much of a defense about him then .....as he would strike out from his place of power. Diving into the shadows he would use the darkness to bring forth a Icy Wind like no other ...as it howled and curled around.
It should have been a counter-attack, but the Skarmory twice had neglected to attack ......though it's position on the field was clear. He had ignored it once ....because of the two against one position, but this time he wouldn't ignore the opening as he struck then ...the winds whipping and howling as the bird was given the chance to strike now or to dodge away.
It was the bird's fault really for not taking advantage of her speed while she could.

((She did attack, with Leer =O))
((Just, um, didn't expect that <_< Ow. ))
[15+15] - [7+11] = 12 DMG
IRONCLAW = -2 HP
It seemed Ironclaw got her wish.
The winds would gather, and she would feel them lift her, throw her, and then finally, smash her backwards against the tombstones where she lay in a tumbled and broken heap.
For all her bravado, she couldn't even last a single round with the spirit.
And the ghost there... Jasmine looked to her, biting down.
"You saved us."
"I want to return the favor... by stopping this spirit... and taking it away from this land, andeverything it's done."
But as she looked back to the re-emerging creature, she had to wonder... was it going to be possible now?
She had only two combatants left who had non-normal moves... one of which had only one solitary hit point left...
And she had trained her team based on her previous battle... it knew Icy Wind now too? A move that was one of her worst fears right now...
She reached out a ball, and a ray of light swallowed Ironclaw up.
"You were brave to try..."
And just as well... as she could only imagine the same effect on Lindbergh.
The Gliscor, she looked to now, nodding.
"Ironclaw went down to warn you about that move... stay sharp, and stay fast."
The bat-scorpion nodded, that one snaggle-toothed fang glinted as she went forward... and kept going forward... he was flying right AT the Spiritomb!
No, not at it, THROUGH it! As Lindbergh laughed, jaws wide open... a new combat began, and she was faster, and unlike Ironclaw, she was going to have to go offensive right through, but she was targeting the only soft spot she could imagine on the Spiritomb, which was arguably the hardest...
The Keystone!
Her fangs gnarled down and icy vapors flowed through her teeth as now she went to use Ice Fang on the Spiritomb!

(Sorry>< I missed it somehow)
Though was that really the Keystone ...in a area of tombstones it is almost impossible to tell one from the other. As the Spiritomb felt her go through ...felt her attached herself to one of the rocks ...as a coldness would spread to him from her passing alone....it was that cold that wouldn't hurt him ....as she bit down on the tombstone and one of the souls inside of him ....seemed to screech in joy. It was freed as the power was leeched from him ...how much power though was hard to know as he simply defended himself for the moment.
He would tear the Gliscor apart, but for the moment he simply held his peace as he waited to see if the coldness would spread ...if the soul had managed to truly get free. A tendrils of darkness would grip and grab and pull it back into the soil itself ..those tangled souls as it's screech would turn to that of despair.
It would take more than that to free the souls of him as he smirks with pure darkness and malice.
This would be a tasty fight ....as he felt the despair rising as the attack that should have ripped hurt him failed.
The spiritomb would laugh lightly ....it would be his turn next.
(+1 to defensive rolls - Spiritomb)
(+1 to attack rolls - Lindbergh)

Lunarsun (3/10) THis time ....the creature that would slunk in their way would float down from above. Hovering between the next upwards leap and the next stone area that hung in the air. The Drifloon acted as barrier as she floated between the two areas keeping him from that next upwards leap. He had a choice here turn around or battle her, or take a risk that he could get past her on his own. Though she was a creature that if he failed would send him hurling downwards to his death or at least into the water below ...still along and painful fall. Tyson saw the pokemon and knew he wouldnt be able to get past him. So instead of trying to fight and losing his pokemon, he turned around and started to make his way downward, he figured he had gone up long enough.

(Roll to avoid damage)
The Driftloon wouldn't follow as he does what she wanted. Though she was going to help him on his downward advancement as a Ominous Wind would stir. It's wish was simple to redirect his landing so it wasn't the last platform he would land on, but empty sky and the plummet of the water mile below. That was her aim as she sent in the hollowing winds.
