otawara I just remembered LOA's mullet. MULLET. xd It's trying to grow back. It's efforts are in vain, as I will be getting my hair cut this week. I now hate that hairstyle. Why did I go with that hairstyle? It's in my graduation pictures for Christ's sakes. God I was an idiot.

You began with the wrong step, however. Everyone knows the first step is to have a cardboard box.

I wish people on Youtube would shut up.
If it's not pointless arguments about religion/philosophy/games/political interests/socialism/capitalism/how good the music is/and other usual bullshit, it's people kissing your a** whenever you make a funny/positive/agreeable comment.
If you like my comment, great. Make sure you have something worthwhile or intelligent to say, otherwise, just give it a thumbs up and move on. I can't count the number of times I've made a comment that's funny or agreeable to a video and people reply with "LOL u funny!" or "yeah, true dat" or "OMG, u are so rite." I don't want to read your poorly written a**-kissing. I wish these people would knock it off.

Hobo Scruffy Curious
um has anyone else been having suicidal thoughts lately? :c Unfortunately, yes, but boundless optimism is a good counter... What's on your mind, Scruffy?

So I kinda sorta really like the Tragically Hip. Animosity towards Nickelback is now at a minimum; as bad as they are, they showed up way too late to ruin everything.

ok so i had this thought.
i read the pokedex entry for yamask, and the thing says:
Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry. These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life.
ok, so does this mean that pokemon are dead people, because that would pose a great deal of questions. First: pokemon are the game's equivalent of wild animals, so the theory of reincarnation in the real world is replicated in the pokemon universe, so as an example if i die i will come back as a dog(real world) or a houndour(pokemon world). thus is the mission of every 10 year old to travel the world and make peace with the dead? Now consider the setting of the first games. (kanto red and blue)
your father is dead, you are the first generation of kids since the kanto war ended. Lt. surge explains that his pokemon served him well in the war. does that mean he survived while his comrades died, and became his pokemon? or perhaps surge picked from a selection of trainees to kill, so that he could go to war armed with pokemon? what is a war actually comprised of in the pokemon universe? is it an orderly procession of one on one battles (think the brittish forces in the revolutionary war) or are their tactics more up to date: think guerrilla warfare and use of cover; general hell. what would stop a pokemon insurrection. if a trooper deserts his post or betrays his force he can be shot dead. if a pokemon betrays his human, it is up to the other pokemon to kill him. wouldn't the pokemon be more willing to help each other? and some miscellanious questions: thus is fighting with pokemon pitting the souls of the dead against each other?
what does it mean when a pokemon evolves? has their human soul reached some state of nirvanna?
is the champion the 'president' or leader of the region
thus is the entire governmental structure of the kanto hierarchy a king of the hill situation?
TLDR:
-Clearly pokemon is a commentary on the facet that as humans we are no better than a violent pride of lions, constantly contesting the top position. we weild weapons (pokemon/guns) that are so powerful that basic human action can be entirely governed by their use.
-The champion attains power not by his wisdom, but by the power of his pokemon, this is no better than shooting some guy with a larger gun and proclaiming you are superior.
-upon death the human mind is sent into a birthing pokemon. with this new body the human is more powerful than he or she ever was before, yet ironically they are more confined by the structure of the establishment, spending most of their time confined in small balls. Is it an eventual compassion that makes them friendly? does a human turned pokemon eventually realise that its human master is still ignorant of the world. it is always said that the fifth stage of grief is acceptance. do pokemon let their slavery go on because they are helpless? No. none of the pokemon are helpless, they could kill their masters in a second. perhaps it is because there is a deeper message to pokemon, that being that human kind truly does have goodness, and that goodness can be brought out in the most unsuspecting of ways. in this case, a pokemon almost acts as a grandfather to the adventuring child, letting him use their power for no reason other than to let that child learn about the world and make progress on the inevitable journey of aggression and competition each young boy/ girl must take up.
Finally, perhaps the pokeball is a mind control device, one that the pokemon slowly come to accept. this seems unlikely however, as often times pokemon that are too high a level do not have to obey orders.
Thus i return to the above theory with more conviction. Pokemon is a message of human wisdom and kindness, even though our society as a whole is violent and primative; we eventually reach a point (that of becoming a pokemon) where we come to accept and understand past experience and grow more as an individual.
so yeah.
