Jacob looked at her and said "I know who they pissed off probably more than I should. Kerrigan, fiancee of the Omega Hunter, Krii' Ouse. Very skilled hunter." Jacob looked around, and said "I know he's not going down." he said, failing to add 'without a fight. Jacob looked at her, winked, and said "It's gonna be a real shitstorm. Don't try and sugar coat it. You know as well as I do." He stood up, put his hands behind his head, laced his fingers and started to sing.

The sound of helicopters resounded in the nearby area, which disturbed Uncle from his task. He stood quickly, and felt a presence from the helicopters. 'We must leave. I sense danger coming.' he said, rushing towards the car. 'We must find seclusion. Move quickly!'

Jacob immediately ceased singing, and dove into the backseat of the car. He unslung his shotgun, and laid at the ready.

immediately her attention snapped in the direction of the sound. Breaking back to the car with vampiric speed. Sliding into the driver's seat, the engine roared to life.
"Back to Haven," she asked, putting it into reverse and twisting around in the seat as she began to back through the dock until she was on the mainland area, throwing it into drive and sliding the car around.

Ceon and Layna walked along the docks, and Ceon took in a breath of the cold salty air. He didn't know why he came here, but something in the back of his mind just called him here. He held and rubbed Layna's hand. "Remember when you first found you were pregnant?" asked Ceon as he glanced down at Layna's stomach.

Layna slowly nodded, and smiled quietly. "Yes..." She murmured. She felt herself shudder at the memory of the last time they were here. She lowered her gaze for a moment, and watched the water slosh coolly against the rocks along the wooden dock. "A lot has changed since then." She sighed and stared up at the cloudy dull sky. No stars were visible behind the flat, opaque sky. She wished she were able to see the stars, and the shining moon, if only for a moment. She wished to send her thoughts and prayers to the Heavens above.

Ceon kissed Layna tenderly on the cheek. "You're going to make a wonderful mother, I just know it." Ceon said he looked dreamily into her eyes. He heard a crunch under his foot.He raised his foot and saw an envelope with a letter in it. On the front of the envelope it said hs name. He took out the letter and read it carefully. As he drew close to the end, a tear rolled down his cheek. "Wha..what the hell..."

Layna tilted her head, a worried expression entering her eyes. "What is it, Ceon?" She asked quietly, her voice slightly quivering with fear. What was making him upset? And why was he crying? Questions whirled in her mind, but she kept them unsaid.

Ceon Dorvuun,
We are sorry to report that your home was mysteriously lit and burnt to the ground. There was nobody found inside, and none of your belongings in it. Any of the races could have purposely or accidentally lit the house on fire. We will contact you when the person is found.

Janine looked out over the water from one of the piers. Her men had located Haven, thanks to the intelligence the Vatican had provided them with and were at this moment securing the borders. They had captured a man called Krii'Ouse a few weeks ago, a leader of the hunters. With Will Jackson missing, the only other leader was Tokeru, and he was reportedly not even a hunter, but from some sort of response unit. The blame had been placed on the tainted, and Krii'Ouse hidden away from any onlookers.
Looking once more at the moon, she turned away and headed towards Haven.

Layna put a hand to her mouth, silencing the gasp. "F-fire..." She stammered. She blinked back tears. "Everything....is gone..." She couldn't help but feel saddened and enraged. She wrapped her arms around Ceon, trying to comfort him for all the things he had lost in that house.

"S..somany things in that house....so many memories. The paintings, all for nothing. All of my guns, all of my ammo, all ofmy books....gone like that." Ceon managed to spit out. He wrapped his arms around Layna, "What are we going to do? We have no home. No place to sleep in, no place to take care of the child."

Layna smiled sadly. "There is still my apartment....it's small, but maybe it'll be enough for the three of us..." She murmured. "We'll replace the weapons....and the ammo....maybe even the books." She said. She gently reached up and took his face in her hands. She made him look at her. "But that painting....that's all it was. You still have the memories. Here." She said, placing her palm on his heart. "And we'll make a new family..." She said fiercely.

Ceon smiled lightly, "You're right. It all just happened in an instant, is all. I don't care about the books that much, the guns I can just buy again, but I guess it's time to let my old family go, and make way for my new one," said Ceon as he placed his hand on her abdomen. "A baby boy, I wonder what we should name him."

Layna gave Ceon a calculating look, before she gently kissed him on the lips affectionately. "We'll think of something...I'm sure we can..." She murmured, feeling frustrated at all that had happened to them lately. She sighed, and slowly let him go to sink down onto the dock, her legs thrown over the side.
