Arianna smiled slightly.
"Pleasure to meet you, Loen, if I may. I've never seen you here before. You're.. new around here I would presume. Is all ok? You seem troubled."
She tilts her head as she spoke the last, inquiringly.

She tilts her head as she spoke the last, inquiringly. Loen lets out a small snort of laughter, but the tension about him doesn't seem to lessen any. "Other than having no idea where I am and no idea how to get back to where I know, I am just as well as ever," he replies casually, ever watchful of her movements and their mutual surroundings. "Yourself?" He is not particularly good at small talk, but if the femme is a native of this place, he may be able to get some information from her.

Climibng up a tree near them, Brody moves to a spot where he can hear what is being siad with minimal chance of being noticed.

Loen Silvercloak Loen lets out a small snort of laughter, but the tension about him doesn't seem to lessen any. "Other than having no idea where I am and no idea how to get back to where I know, I am just as well as ever," he replies casually, ever watchful of her movements and their mutual surroundings. "Yourself?" He is not particularly good at small talk, but if the femme is a native of this place, he may be able to get some information from her. "Oh!" Arianna exclaims at Loen's tone. "Well, that is rather troublesome. I don't know the places you know, most likely, but this place is, well.. the island." She sweeps her arm out to take in the rest of the island. "At least that's what everyone calls it. This isn't my home so I can't tell you all too much about it. I'm not sure anyone knows all that much about this place. Best person to ask might be Serene. She's surely around somewhere, you'd just have to find her. She's the one who holds this place together."

SilentBreeze90 Breeze looks around at the newly lit building. Because the building is so small, the light reaches every corner and the only shadows are created by Serene and Breeze. Looking around, Breeze finds that the building was probably a cottage in or near a village. Clay bowls rest on tables and remarkably well preserved cabinets are wide open, showing more clay food holders and utensils Serene, having ichy fingers, started going through all the things, curious to see everything there. She 'Ooo'ed and 'Ahh'ed as her fingers grazed over every piece of clayware and she stuck her head into the cabinets to see if she skipped anything. She found a few particular pieces that struck her interest and she happily showed them to Breeze, inquiring if she could keep them.

serenesan Serene, having ichy fingers, started going through all the things, curious to see everything there. She 'Ooo'ed and 'Ahh'ed as her fingers grazed over every piece of clayware and she stuck her head into the cabinets to see if she skipped anything. She found a few particular pieces that struck her interest and she happily showed them to Breeze, inquiring if she could keep them.

SilentBreeze90 Breeze watched as Serene went through everything, noting the objects that Serene picked up and kept with her, letting her riffle throught the objects first, and picking up a few of the small pretty/shiny objects that Serene had actually missed. She happily agreed that Serene could keep whatever she wanted. Then Breeze motioned to the small hole in the wall that had once probably been a window, having noticed that there was a view that implied much more to explore in the lake Serene dashed/swam to the window and looked out. There wasn't too much to see but it was clear that a small distance away was yet another one or two buildings of similar build to the one they were in. Serene grabbed Breeze's hand and exited their current building, swimming towards the new buildings she saw.

serenesan Serene dashed/swam to the window and looked out. There wasn't too much to see but it was clear that a small distance away was yet another one or two buildings of similar build to the one they were in. Serene grabbed Breeze's hand and exited their current building, swimming towards the new buildings she saw.

SilentBreeze90 Breeze was dragged along for a little as Serene swam towards the buildings, then started swimming as well. Having swum closer, Breeze saw that instead of just two buildings, there was a whole village of buildings. As she was swimming, she noticed that the ground that they had been swimming close to was getting further as the land sloped further downward, and realized the two buildings Serene had originally spotted had only been seen because they were two stories, and tall enough to be seen from the other house. These buildings were in better condition than the previous cottage, as they still had intricately carved doors and slight markings where paint might once have colored the outside walls. Serene paused a moment and stared in wonder at the many buildings that seemed to just pop up. She reached the nearest one and touched the carvings carefully before opening the door and entering. The decor of this building was a bit more elaborate than the last. Whereas the last was rather bare except for the utensils necessary for everyday life, this building had remnants of paintings, though the color had long gone, and decorated clay vases on bases. The carvings above every doorway were ornate as were those on the furniture. Serene looked around with a light in her eyes, estatic about their findings so far. ((Sorry in disappearing on you. I had Physics hmwk and lab to do. Hee hee. your last part sounds a little like how Tarek described some of the temples in Egypt.))

Looking thoughtful at her words, Loen studies the lady before him with unreadable eyes before speaking. "Serene, hm?" he repeats the name slowly, brushing a few stray strands of black and silver back from his face to hook them behind his ear. He glances around again, gaze sweeping over the man hidden in the tree as he does so. He makes no indication he's aware of the other fellow's presence, but takes a small step in the opposite direction of the tree, as if moving off to find this Serene. "I don't suppose you know where I might find her?" he inquires neutrally.

"Hmmm... well.. " She looks around at the island and grimaces at the obvious fact that there is no sign of Serene anywhere. "She's around here somewhere.. she's always gallivanting about, playing with whatever she might find or exploring new areas. I can help you search for her if you like."

Dropping next to the lady, Brody smiles and sticks out his hand. "Good morning. My name's Brody. I had been hoping to find someone whoe knows a bit about this place, but neither of you seem to know much, and this Serene likely knows a good bit. Would you mind if I followed you?"

Arianna jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of the man, Brody, her eyes widening. She takes his hand, shaking it and responds. "I'm Arianna, or Air for short. You may absolutely follow us, or rather help us search. I can't guarentee that Serene has all your answers but hopefully she can answer some of your questions."
