"Could you just code for the higher class securities?" See, that color level security clearences were indeed useful. Most Project leaders didn't have above yellow level clearances. Could you target for just the two levels above that? For now at least....can work on yellow and down later." Yes he was trying to make this painless as possible...after all he had to deal with the almost weekly power outages caused by Catalyst...it was at least fifteen seconds before Radiance backed powered up, that left a security gap that Michael wasn't fond of.

Fox rubbed his opposite shoulder with his hand as he thought, watching the alluring flicker of the hologram at the same time. "If we're just coding for the centralization, I could. I could work down the levels, so not everyone would be influenced at once." A brief glance up at Michael told him that the captain had probably not had a good night's sleep in a while. Bloodshot eyes stared into the schematic as his forehead creased, thinking. "But that would still only be an upgrade for the system... To fully revamp it and install all the security triggers for a 98% hacker-prevention system, it would have to be shut down temporarily. It's definately a risk." Then a shrug. "For better or for worse, I don't know."

He sighed and leaned back in his chair, away from the desk and turned in his chair slightly to look out that bay window again at the blue orb that floated in blackness. Then he turned his attention back to Fox on the opposite side of the desk. "I can't risk a complete shut down right now...can I get you to work in levels for the time being? When things have settled down, I'll allow a system revamp, but for right now it's too risky." Could always count on Fox to put forth the good ideas when he needed them. Now to get some coffee and perhaps some sleep would make hima happy captain.

Fox nodded, "Will do. I'll need a list of all personnel with access to each of the levels." He turned off the Holo-Disc and the blue light disappeared, leaving the room in dim cozyness once again. Although he did notice the captain glance briefly out the window at Earth, and he couldn't help but worry. "After watching it for a few years from a few million miles away, it's not so pretty anymore is it?" A contemplative look found itself onto his face and the fingers began tapping on the armrest again. That round ball of swirly blue and white... sometimes he just felt like hacking into the Radiance navagation systems so that they could jump to another galaxy and enjoy a different scenery.

A nod from Michael, "I'll make sure you get it. Stop by tomorrow sometimes and I'll have the list and numbers for you. I'll also make sure that everyone who needs to know, knows." Though there was that breif moment of quiet before his question, and then a breif moment of quiet afterward. "No...no it's not." A small smile crept onto a slightly gruff featured, yet still handsome face, and he turned to Fox once more. "But at least it's a constant in a place where constants are hard to come by, right?" Yes, Fox and Noris were both prone to these kinds of moments.

"Yeah ok." Fox grabbed the black disc from the desk and returned it to the right pocket of his pants. "Make sure they do know what I'm fiddling with, but I'll make announcements on G.O.D.D. so they know which security levels are restricted at what time." With that said, he stood up and brushed invisible specks of dust off the front of his shirt. Then, he replied with a small grin. "Eh, knowing where my head is everyday I wake up is constant enough for me." Classic Fox. Taking life one step at a time, no more and no less. If he had a motto for life, it would probably be "Wing it". Turning to the door, he gave Michael a mock farewell salute.

"Does that mean I'm going to have to get a paintjob on top of repairs? I rather like the shiny look to my bioware. polished and elegant, crisp and clean..you know. military grade looks."
A slight smirk, following after the ladies, since Jelena knew these enclousures better than anyone, and where one would find the places the pup was gnawing at quicker.

"That makes sense." She allowed Jelena to lead her over to the area closest to the pup's den and sure enough there were large pieces of the metal piping from the walls littered both on the ground and simply missing. Lillia carefully braced Jelena and leaned down studying the metal pieces. "She's definitely using these as chew toys. Look at all the teeth marks. And this one is almost completely bitten in half." A shake of her head and she tossed the piece on the ground then stood back up. Grabbing that clipboard she made a quick note of the location the new piping needed to go and wrote 'drab colored paint' and 'sour finisher.' "Alright, got it. Anywhere else you want to check?"

She reached up and pushed on her OODDS, making them drop down from her hair and onto the bridge of her nose where a tap to thier side got them turned on. A moment spent at the wrist mounted controls she had rigged to them and information popped up in the lenses. Enclosure schematics. Though a look at the metal piping...ugh she knew what that was. "That's water piping as well as wire piping. Why does she have to chew the important things.
Taking her OODDS off she plopped them on Lillia's nose. On the screens were two blinking locations on the schematics. "Located there and there is where I'm talking about. Make sure you put in a work order for that for me. No shine, thicker. May need to get someone to come look at the wiring as well...may be gnawed."
Then a look over her shoulder to James. "No dear, you can be shiny and all that jazz. We'll just have to...spritz you with something that doesn't taste good to make her learn...all of her...to not chew on daddy's arm because that is not proper to do." Then a more business look to him. "And I'll be starting tests on her in a few weeks...just to let you know."

Fox had returned back to his workroom after the meeting with Michael, and now he sitting on the only clean stool, spinning around and around. The Holo-Disc was lit up once again and now sitting on the work bench, the 3D image of Radiance flickering in a million tiny blue dots. The gears in his genius mind were spinning too, like the chair but probably ten times as fast. With his P.A.I.D. removed from his wrist, he turned it over and over in his hands, scrutinizing its plain exterior with steady eyes if not for occasional glances at the hologram on the table. "Hmm... There has to be a way..."

"What kind of testing? the usual run of the mill stuff of the mytholigical crossover kind of testing?"
A slight brush to his bioware. yes he liked it pretty and shiny. Jessica was going to have a fit though that he got it mauled by a three headed puppy. well, one more thing to deal with later.

Looking at the world through Jelena's glasses gave her quite a different perspective. She'd known from the forefront that they were not normal glasses but an electronic device to help her analyze and research data, but knowing it and seeing it firsthand were two very different things. There was so much going on on the screen she didn't at first see what she was supposed to.
Lines of words were moving off to the left and she watched them scan by while the glasses homed in on and the two spots began blinking. Lillia quickly scribbled the locations from the screen onto the clipboard adding a note about water and wire replacements. As Jelena spoke, more words popped up on the screen and Lillia's eyes went wide behind them. She quickly pulled them off and handed them off to Jelly blinking a ton of times. That was a new experience and the very reason she didn't like technology, at least not horribly advanced technology.
"Got it. Do you want to look at anything else while we're in here?"

Another look to James, brushing a few blond strands from green eyes. "Both. I haven't put her through anything yet...been letting you plat and her get some size on, as well as some acclimation to her enviroment." Would be kind of interesting to see how he really reacted to that himself.
Jelena chuckled lightly as Lillia more or less yanked the thing off her face and handed it back, to which Jelena only set them on her face and pushed them up to sit on the bridge of her nose where they belonged. "No...it's probably better not to snoop too much. Don't know when she's going to wake up and frankly, I can't handle a pounce."

"I see. are you sure you should do that in your condition? I mean..unlike most echoes, she has three heads, and each has it's own reasoning. what might instill fear or pain in one coudl cause an aggresive response in another. the last thing you need is to make one head whimper only to have the one next to it bite down on your forearm. especially considering the damage she can do to titanium and steel."

Jelly got a nod and she began to walk her back through the enclosure to the entrance before stepping out. She did get a raised eyebrow. "I hate to say it Jelly, but James might be right. After all you did just get out of major surgery and it might not be a good idea to mess with her at this point in time. Perhaps someone else should do the actual testing..."
