Karnage leapt off the kunai and shrugged, pseudo-disgusted. "Like I would want to challenge you to such a menial task. Perhaps next we could play chess." He laughed at the thought. This was not his forte. And the thought of Shadow figuring out which way the knight moved was hilarious. Partially because he half imagined that Shadow would have a pawn up his nose. But such were his thoughts of fancy. "I just don't like being the only genin that doesn't know how, it's degrading. And who knows maybe I'll get so good at utilizing my chakra I actually could race you." he said with a scoff. "But then again, maybe they will make a jutsu that give you a brain boost and you can beat me."
He was smiling as he tried to pull some sort of move using the chakra in his muscles. But now was not the time apparently. He was distracted with, of all things, his own joy. He didn't want to ruin it right now.

Shadow growled at Karn's almost disgusted look, he almost started yelling about how he was way sexier than him, however he knew that it would be a stupid argument so he decided to pass on it. chess eh? That's the one with the king thing right? Yeah sure i could handle it! He chuckled in a joking manner since this was in all purposes a joke. It was sort of an unspoken bond between the two that Shadow kept to the field and acrobats while Karnage stuck to the books and smarts. Each side of his hip ended up getting sliced by a fuuma shuriken as his danced but he pressed on not caring, though he was starting to wonder just how much blood he had lost by now. Probably to much, oh well small price to pay in the long run
A brain boost eh? Like an apple? I think i heard somewhere that that helped the mind! Once again he was just being stupid. So who do you think you'll end up fighting in the exams? Wouldn't it be funny if we went up against each other, huh?

Karnage shrugged with his trademarked sense of apathy. This was not a matter he really cared to think of at the moment. What he would probably do was cripple their brains and then walk away reading his manga. That was of course, just his preferred course of action. "I don't really care. Knowing my luck it's probably Roy. Or knowing Rush's luck it's probably me. Who knows." he gave another shrug and tried to pivot on his foot into a backflip handstand. But half way through he fell on his a**. Pathetic really, but this was training. Better pathetic now than pathetic in a fight. His mind began to wonder now, "So who would you want to fight and why?"

Shadow grinned and noticed as Karnage was throwing in more acrobatic dance moves, which made Shadow want to show off some. But then again, how were you supposed to show off in a good manner if you kept getting sliced up? As he thought of this and listened to Karn's words he spun so his arm was cut yet again. At this point a noticeable pool of blood mad its way at Shadow's feet. He jumped down landing on his hands sticking his feet out, then flipping onto his back doing a kick like spin. While he did this he thought of what to respond to Karn's question with. He had been tossing around the idea of who it would be fun to fight, but he wasn't sure who his top contender would be. He finally shrugged and answered.
I dunno, that Sakeme girl is kind of cute... And you know, sometimes when you're in the middle of a fight you end up getting close to your opponent. As Shadow said this he grinned in a jokingly perverted manner. However i suppose if it came down to skill it would be interesting to take Roy. You i could already see how the fight would go. I would try to blind you, you would try to do that illusion trick you have...

Karnage sighed even heavier than he had before from hearing the stupid that leaked out of Shadow's mouth. "Your hopeless, you know that?" he said in a very matter of fact way. "Firstly your getting blood all over the ground you freakin masochist. But in addition to your mental disabilities, let's add jail bait chaser." He crossed his arms in disapproval. Karnage pointed his hand at Shadow with a karate chop. "Fool!" The voice giggled pervertedly, 'Give me a girl with long raven hair, a body that won't stop, and eyes that can see through your internal organs and I'm set for life!'
Karnage was to busy trying to ignore the voices preference in women to manage a front flip to a halfway splits. the good thing was he only landed on his face, instead of pulling his groin. At least he knew he could walk a little better this way...

Shadow sliced his fore leg as he spun around, however at the high shunshin speeds it created a little trickle of a blood shower. However he was to busy laughing at Karnage's little rant about Shadow's incompetence. Shadow did another hand spring to push him through his fuuma blades, avoid the kunai, and land gently on the ninjato. As he did all these stunts he smirked at his friend. He knew ways to push his buttons a little, and it was something he enjoyed doing.
Alright, first of all my blood will make the plants grow because i'm just that great! And mental disabilities!? Please! Remember that year in Konoha when we had the Christmas party? That thing with Aki! Least i'm smart enough to go after people whose brothers probably WONT neuter me with their eyes! although he said this in a loud way he couldn't help but stop chuckling, for he knew that on the outside they liked to rip each others throats out, that ultimately they were genuine friends and liked to joke around with each other. And er. Lets see 18/2= 9+6= 15, so i'm good!

Karnage did remember that day. It was in a flash a the mention of Christmas that he did so. He remembered it quite well actually. Perhaps because of how beautiful Aki looked. Perhaps because it was one of the first times he wrote down Shadow's name in that little notebook he kept to remind who to slowly poison, or perhaps it was because... it was fun being with people. He looked down into the soil. In a way... he missed that life.
He crossed his arms, turned his head to the side, and said out teh side of his mouth very snidely, "At least Aki is legal..."
Now feel a mixture of forlorn joy and minor regret, he was having trouble concentrating. As he moved his feet, trying to mimic a kick that would take his body 180 degrees around he felt a tug as his feet crossed each other and resulted in him landing again on his face.
"So what do you think Aki and Kurai are up to?" he said as he lifted himself up and dusted himself off.

Shadow fell on his face at Karnage's next legal remark in a very foiled like manner. However it was only for a moment and then he was back to dancing, even though his body was starting to get more and more cut up. He wondered how shunshin dancing would look to the rest of society, to him it felt stylish and bad a**, however in reality he was really just tripping over his own feet falling on his a**. He embraced the moment of nostalgia with Karn and then went into thought thinking about Kurai. In truth he thought about it alot, he missed Kurai, and wanted to see him again. Which just made it hurt more when he thought of the fact that he probably never would again. He flickered and bobbed around the weapons and then finally spoke.
Kurai had a lot of emotional baggage. He was a loving man put in a soldiers body. I think he's off in some isolated village somewhere, or meditating on a mountain. Either way, i hope he's left that life, and is finally happy. And Aki... I dunno about that girl, she always seemed kind of loose if you know what i mean... I guess the best i can hope for is that she's happy... And that she didn't give you the herpes... Shadow chuckled at the second part, but just kept his dance up.

Karnage somewhat winced at that last part. 'OOOOOOH! I am so telling Kurai you said that!' the voice said, delighted at the concept of watching Shadow being assualted for calling one of the world's most powerful nin's sister loose. Karnage didn't take such solace, probably because this comment would be wasted seeing as Kurai would probably kill him on sight. "Personally..." Karnage said, looking out of the gorge into the sky. "I kinda think he's out there with another pair of guys like we were way back when. Maybe learning from what happened to us. Maybe hoping things can turn out differently." He didn't really feel like thinking about what Aki was doing. He was better off not knowing.
He was focused this time. He grabbed a pair of kunai from his own pouch and began to dance feverishly. He darted across the field and threw one into the air diagonally, darted to the opposite side and threw another in the air to make the cross. He flickered to his starting point, and with flash he drew another pair and twirled them in his hands. Firing gracefully, he launched them into the airborne kunai knocking them out of air. And for a finale, he back flipped back onto his orginal kunai and on his fingers caught the kunai which he knocked out of the sky.
"Shunshin no jutsu...

Shadow smiled as a very peaceful look crossed over his face. Kurai was something else to him, he was something else to everyone he met. He was truly a hero, a powerful shinobi, and a great man. Even if his sister was questionable, and Karn was a bit crazy, and Shadow was kind of an idiot, he loved them all and was always there for them. Even with his hard life he always showed an ultimate love and caring, and Shadow just hoped that wherever he was that he could finally live happily. Shadow smiled as Karnage completed the training and learned Shunshin! Deciding he was starting to exhaust himself he decided it would be best to wrap up his training right here has well. He flickered in and out of exhistence a few more time, giving and overly dramatic sway with each flicker, simply letting out a loud BUUBUUUBUBUUUUUUUUN! However which each sway he sliced himself up again and again. He simply smirked as he bent down to pick up his weapons and hand the kunai back to Karnage. Damn... I guess i'm still not agile enough, huh? He shook his head and then smiled in a very chipper manner. Oh well, i'll get there!

(( Haha uh oh... Planning on killing us all off Carlos? ))
Shadow fell on his a** and chuckled as he wrapped his wounds with little rips from his clothing. He crawled over to one of the large rocks that he dismantled in his training. He was out of breath and hurt, however he ultimately felt good about himself at this point. It was strange how a good work out could do that to you. However while Shadow sat there with a silly grin on his face he was completely oblivious to the darkness that was rushing towards him and his friends. He closed his eyes for a moment and slowly opened them again, looking at the nice sun. Even with Karn's out burst at the little girl, this was still a pretty nice day. As he closed his eyes again he thought of how much he liked this village. Iwagakure had been like a home to him, which was strange considering he hadn't had this feeling even in his own village for years.
It's kind of nice here, huh? What are we going to do next, when we become Chuunins, team mate? As he spoke the dark streak was pretty much at the gorge, and Shadow unfortunately was oblivious to everything outside his current thought process

Rush watched as a puddle formed of pink goo. It was kind of dissapointing, but expected also. The mass had no structure and it made attempts to form it's liquid succulence into material of solid structure, but always failed to arouse. It would rise a few inches, out of a will to determine one's creation, but always sag concieding to being too heavy to hold any part of itself up. Rush allowed the thing to dissapate, holding it to the foreign realm no longer. The learning process was solid but difficult. He knew little about chakra composition and relied too much on his Kekkai Genkai carrying him through the training. It was still within his grasp, so he would persist. Everyone was determined, Shadow and Karnage were in the same canyon training as well. He might have gone and said hello had he not been busy and assumed that the other two were equally as busy. Shrugging slightly, Rush continued with his own training. He focused his chakra again, going through the typical motions of the early stages of jutsu completion. Forming the seal and releasing his chakra was part of this, so that's what he did.

A stump of gum appeared before Rush's eyes It had little wiggly arms and legs sticking out of itself, shaking about. The thing rocked, cradled on its back, its feet unable to reach the ground being as short as they were. The clones he was creating still had no real texture or definite shape. They were just pink masses resembling humanoids vaguley. Still, it was an interesting jutsu that he was excited to be able to use. It did frequently occur to Rush that all his jutsu were defensive. He came up short in combat a lot. In a team, he was fairly decent support, but one on one, he struggled. Were it not for his quick reflexes Rush would have no chance at being a competent shinobi. Rush wanted to find his family's jutsu tome and see if there were any offensive jutsu. Rush was a bit of a pascifist in the sense that he cared nothing for needless fighting, but in his profesion, fights would happen and he should be more versatile. In the mean time, Rush would be content with his ability as a supporting team member, hoping it would carry him where he needed to get. Dissmissing the little bean of a clone, Rush preparred to try again. Gathering chakra in the focused position, the handseal held close to his chest, Rush made another go.
