Oh hi folks. This guild is getting an extreme overhaul too? It seems all the guilds are renovating. Is there a directory for new changes aside from the announcement post that was sent? ninja

I'll talk you through them at the moment. I'll try to get a full guide of changes published after we've got the profiles and walkthrough for profiles going.

hollow/arrancar story line, is that going to be the same as before or has there been a metamorphosis of that as well? :3
I might of missed it(probably missed it), but is there a limit to the number of skills one can select in the beginning? What determines their score initially?
When will there be an awesome party with pizza and cake? 3nodding

That's changing entirely. For a while we're going to see Hollows purely as NPCs, enemies and the like. Possibly later down the line they may be playable but of course remember the Arrancar are powerful, more so than Shinigami, so we might wait for the right time or weaken them slightly. I'm going for weaken because we could get them out when they're ready earlier like so and once we've got a place for them in the main plot.
The number of skills you can select is thirty points worth of skills at the start.
Of course you must have an equal amount of skills on a tier above to those below. Fefnir is publishing a guide to profile writing soon so that should sort that out.
We don't have a party but I've started a prologue RP in which I'll take action once the profile announcements are out. It's going to give people an introduction to the plot and possibly the enemies they'll face.

Ok that'll help out a lot, I like guides = u=. I will say I can help with number systems if the need ever arises here to implement such systems. I'm a mod in a numbers system guild and also have played around in such rps frequently. 3nodding
as for arrancar as enemies only, though that will potentially shy away new members it will also help keep those players who think they are the cream of the crop in roleplays to a relative minimum. I like the direction the guild is going I expect some fun things to show up in this place. :3

That works. I think. Your numbers that is.
The number system is supposed to be minimal. We're first and foremost a freeform RP guild and we intend to stay that way. These numbers probably won't come up in RP too much but rather serve as guidelines. For example you could beat someone with +4 Brawling or +5 Brawling but it would depend on situational factors.
Arrancar won't only be enemies though. Let me make that clear. They will become available but we don't know when. I wanted to make them available at the start but in the interest of a strong start we'll add them later.

Zavits W also did I do this right?: Superb [+5] razz assive Awareness, Dodging Great [+4]: Emotional Control, Close-Combat Defense Good [+3]: Brawling, Concentration Fair [+2]: Gathering Information, Command Average [+1]: Answers, Physical Fortitude You're close, but not quite. You've got a list of what are technically called Trappings. Basically, you picked individual parts of the skills you're actually selecting from. Sorry I didn't make it quite clear. ^_^;; You list would look something like this: Superb [+5]: Alertness, Athletics Great [+4]: Discipline, Fists And so on. The things next to each larger category are some examples of how each select-able skill can be used, or what its effect on your character is.
