No, they had this metel part that would be used to hit each other in the stadium. Hurt like hell when 6 year olds put the hand in it but it was "super cool!"

Its annoying how some people will sue for the stupidest reasons. The idiot who sued must have known the toy had metal firstly.

OF course, or maybe, its a case where they found plastic to be better. Though I think ...the metal would make them hit harder.

Beyblades <3 I remember those. We used to play with them all the time when I was younger.
Um, actually, if I remember correctly, the very fist beyblades were entirely plastic...the metal ones came out later, after maybe about...I think it was 3-5 different series of beyblades, all also plastic.
