hissed as she quickly got up, giving her sister a frantic forest

One of her kits was dead when it was born, but the rest are with Hauntedheart in the Nursery," he meowed. He sighed, his eyes flickering to Shatteredfang. He shuddered, and sighed, looking at his paws, before looking at Foxfur.  [Fathom felt his heart drop. His kitten was crippled? He looked at her in shock. Then rage. How dare they. HOW DARE THEY. First they allow Leopardstorm to be killed by Blood, then they take my kit's legs away from her! How could you, StarClan?! How could you torture me so?!
Fathom shuddered as Cinderwing passed through him. He padded over to Silentkit, his daughter. Concentrating, he opened his mouth and was able to force out words only Silentkit could hear.]
"I was the lion who fell in love with the lamb," he whispered to her, his reddish brown eyes seeping with sorrow. "Even when you cannot Fathom freedom, never give up hope..."
[He began to fade away. He had used up too much energy. He staggered backwards, then sat down, trying to gain composure. His vision cleared and he was still with them. But he probably had to save up energy before speaking again.]
(( Only other spirits can see him, and only Silentkit could hear him that time. :I

 S t o n e p a wI don't mind making jokes........══════════════════════════════════════════════════[Stonepaw shook slightly, almost winded by Vanillapaw's question.] Her voice shook when she uttered, "I-I don't know. We just came back from the Gathering." [Stonepaw looked at her paws.] "Purepaw's dead too. She fell off a cliff."══════════════════════════════════════════════════........I just don't want to look like one.

[Guardiankit looked up at the other warriors, his eyes growing cold.]
"I'll skin the cretin who did this to her," he hissed, his eyes glowing with rage. "Never again will I let my guard down. I'll protect Silentkit and Sunkit to my dying breath!"
[He turned and glanced at Envykit, blinking at the her. He padded up to the pretty kit and prodded her in the side gently with his paw.]
"Hey, you okay?" he murmured softly, his cold eyes growing warm again.
[She never knew her mother...and she never will. She's worse off than me...but at least she's got a father. Still...our positions are switched. I never knew my father, and she'll never know her mother.
He sat next to the she-kit somberly. A strange feeling came over him, and he lowered his eyes with an abashed sigh.]

[Silentkit looked at Darkshadow and was about to demand more until she heard a voice. She listened and the voice seemed familiar for some reason.] "Fathom," she mewed. [For some reason, that part seemed important to her. She gazed around trying to locate the source of the voice.] "Are you still there? Please don't leave me, please don't go," she begged as she looked for the voice.

He couldn't even find the camp using smell. "Great, I'm lost in an unfamiliar forest, with a murderer going around!"

[Foxfur turned away from Cinderwing and Darkshadow, his heart pounding. The two wonderful she-cats were now gone from the world, no longer able to grace the cats around them with thier fiery determination and their love. His heart ached, and he was about to turn around and claw Cinderwing's face off for saying the last part, but he stopped, shaking, his dark brown eyes empty.
Foxfur slowly crouched down, so he was level with Shatteredfang's closed eyes]
"I'm sorry, Shatteredfang. That this had to happen to you. You left behind some bundles of joy here, an I know what it's like to grow up without a mother, so just, just watch over them, alright? I know me and you didn't always get along," he gave a choked laugh, "But, you were still my Clanmate, and you have no idea how sorry I am for being so rude. It's kinda a side only you could bring out in me. I miss you and your snappy comebacks already. Watch over us, Shatteredfang. Please"
[He whispered all of this as he sat next to her, his whole body shaking, dark red head bowed]

[Fathom's heart was breaking again. Just hearing his daughter plead for him to stay made him want to wail.
He moved closer to her, but it all depended on whether or not she could sense his cold presence. He had not the energy to do anything else.]

[Silentkit felt something cold and she glanced around. Was the voice here?] "Is that you? Are you my father? Are you Fathom?" she asked, putting the pieces together in her mind. "What's going on? Why can't I see you? Why did you go? Daddy I need you here!" she cried, not caring if the other cats thought she was crazy.

[Guardiankit let out a startled snort as the kit suddenly cuddled him. He sat, feeling a wave of hot embarrassment wash over him, and blinked, unsure of what to do next. Can she talk? he wondered, trying to settle down neatly. He began to groom her head, not sure what else he was supposed to do, feeling her soft fur against his tounge. His eyelids lowered as he thought about her mother. I didn't really know Shatteredfang...but I do remember she was headstrong and courageous...
He paused, thinking. Kinda like my mommy.
Just thinking the word 'mommy' sent sharp slashes of pain against his heart, so he quickly continued to groom the she-cat, not thinking about Leopardstorm. Or at least, trying not to...]

[Fathom tried to lick his daughter's fur, but he went right through her. He looked down at her, crestfallen. He couldn't comfort her, no matter how hard he tried. I'm trying, he thought desperately, but he was just to weak to speak to her again. You'll just have to find solace in my presence, for now...]

[Silentkit glanced around frantically.] "Daddy? Daddy! Don't go please! I need you, I need you to come home! Please come home Daddy... Please," she whimpered. [Her daddy had to come home! He wasn't gone! He wasn't! He was still here, he was still alive! Her daddy wasn't going to leave again she wouldn't let him. She may be crippled but she wasn't going to le her father slip from her grasps like her mommy had. She wouldn let StarClan, or whoever was up in the skies, take her father away! They had already taken her mother and they weren't taking another!]
