Iyasu gripped the seat as best as she could as the samurai halted to a rough stop. Her head and upper body bounded forward from the harsh, swift stop. Her hazel eyes were gazing at the ground. Her pupils were dilated with a tiny fear, but she composed herself in a quick manner as she felt the driver put the rickshaw. With heavy breathing accompanied by a thick step of leaking red life, Iyasu bit her lower lip as she saw the blood coming the man's feet.
"Yes, it was very pleasant and fast!" She giggled as she glanced up to meet his ice blue eyes, "Please, come in for a cup of tea and some lunch before you head back." She insisted full knowingly that she wanted to give dress the new wounds and give him some extra herbs and other medicines for the road.

Ryoko's arms were a little sore. I must be doing a pretty good job if my arms are sore! she thought to herself. So she turned to around to admire her work: the floors and hallways were very clean, almost sparkling in the sunlight. Well then, I think I deserve a break.
Ryoko went and fetched herself a glass of water and on the way back, noticed some people outside, with a rickshaw, preparing to come in. I'll go greet them and let them in. Maybe I can even introduce myself! So Ryoko walked through the house to the front door and opened it to welcome Iyasu home.
"Konnichiwa, I am Ryoko, a new maid here," Ryoko said, bowing to Iyasu and Kibakichi. "Is there anything I can do for you on the way in the house?"

She looked up to the maid and smiled, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ryoko-chan. This is Kibakichi-san, the stable master and brave samurai. I am Iyasu, one of the few geisha here." She said low and sweetly for the maid's ears only to hear, "My dear, would you please get for me a large bowl filled with hot water, a clean cloth, large bandages and dressing. Just place all of those in the tea room and make sure some old tatami mats are near by." The geisha gave the new maid a tender smile and bowed humbly to her, "Forgive me for being so blunt, once our friend leaves please come up with me to my room where I will have something for you as a thank you." As she rose up from her bow she gave a wink to the maid and looked over to Kibakichi.
"Kibakichi-san, please come in for a brief rest and some tea. I am sure you must be tired after how swiftly you ran here!" She said gently to him as she came to his side and looked to him with deep caring eyes.

"Kibakichi-san, please come in for a brief rest and some tea. I am sure you must be tired after how swiftly you ran here!" She said gently to him as she came to his side and looked to him with deep caring eyes. "Hai, I will prepare the tea room right away," Ryoko said, and after her signature awkward bow, she trotted back into the house to get everything Iyasu had asked for. Now what all was it? Oh, a large bowl filled with hot water, a clean cloth, large bandages and dressing. First Ryoko went back into the store room and found an old tatami mat. She took it to the tea room and gently laid it down. That man, Kibakichi-san, he looked hurt. I guess I need to put this down so that Iyasu can tend him, but still take care of our tatami. Then, with the tea room ready, Ryoko went to the kitchen. It took her awhile to find the bowls, because she wasn't really familiar with the kitchen's layout yet. Ah, here they are. Upon finding the bowls Ryoko pulled out the biggest one the okiya had. Then, she wen to the sink and filled it up with warm water-but not too warm. After she placed the bowl of water in the tea room, still very proud about not spilling it, Ryoko went after some clean cloths and bandages. Now where would those be? she thought. Ryoko went in the store room. the bathrooms, the kitchen-but she didn't know where to find these first-aid things. Finally, as a last resort, Ryoko opened and random closet. Of course, they would be in here because this is the last place I thougt to look. Ryoko piled some cloths, bandages, and dressing into her arms, and carried them into the tea room, where she laid them next to the bowl. All done! And with that, Ryoko obediantly headed for Iyasu's room to wait for her. #12

Standing Yokohana bowed. "Please pardon me..." She answered standing up and walking out to the garden. The cool air felt nice against her face, the wind blowing at her slitly.
Looking around she quickly rentered trotting up the stairs to her room and finding her insturment. Then walkind back out side with it resting in her hand.
Pulling out the strings and feeling them connect to the bottom of the samisen (SP?) she tuned them and started to practis on a random spur. Seeing as she missed her classes for so long...

"Okay Yokohana. I will see you later then." Yokome said. She then turned to Akyio-chan and said, "You may start your classes as soon as you are done settling in here. You must take at least two classes or more than two if you'd like. Pick some that you are interested in." She paused for a moment and said, "After I think you are ready, you will go out for your first outing at the teahouse. There will be many things we will need to do before hand, like style your hair and make-up."

Akino stood at the top of the stairs watching the incoming geisha and maiko. My, how beautiful they are, I hope that I will soon have an older sister so that I may become as beautiful a geisha. akino looked down upon the stairs and saw they were quite dirty. She ran to get a rag and a bucket of water and started to scrub away at them until she could see her own reflection. She continued with the next step working her way down and every so often stealing glances at the other geisha. *sigh* i hope one of the geisha notices me! Maybe then, if i get noticed i shall be that much closer ot an older sister. How nice that would be. I so often dream about what it would be like. [50]

She led the man inside, careful of injuries, and directed him into the tea room.
"Kibakichi-san, I'll be right back. I have to get something upstairs. Please, make yourself comfortable and I will be right with you!" She smiled to him before leaving him in the tea room and heading up stairs to her room.
"Ryoko-chan, thank you very much! I have to be quick, please come here dear." Iyasu walked over to her night stand and dusted off a tiny box. She opened it and pulled out a silk cloth, inside was a fan. "Please take this fan as a token of my gratitude." She bowed head to the girl as she presented the silk wrapped fan to her.

"Oh Iyasu-sama, I don't deserve something so nice. Thank you very much for your kindness," Ryoko said, and bowed very low to Iyasu. "I will treasure it. It is very beautiful." #13

Finally finding her self satisfied with her practis Yokohana stood to return to Yokome's room and see if she was free to just talk. Unstringing her Samisen she stood wrapping the case around it.

I bow to maid as I was introduced to the maid, Ryoko, who so politely introduced herself. Hajimemashite. I say softly and gently to Ryoko, I let Iyasu-san guide me into what appeared to be a tea room. "She's probably worried about the wounds on my feet. She worries too much, but it's nice to know that someone cares about this Ronin." I thought as my stomach growls, "Now that I think about it. It wouldn't hurt to stay for tea and lunch, and I've never been one to pass up food." I sit cross-legged on the tatami mat and found that a couple small, sharp rocks had managed to cut through the thick leather-like soles of my feet. I looked back towards the door and saw my footprints, left in blood, on the nice, clean wood floor. "I need to clean that up." I think as shift to sitting seiza and wait patiently for Iyasu to return.

I believe the sooner i go the better prepared i will be." Akyio said as she bowed and exited the room. I wonder what classes i should go to? Mmmm.. OH i know i'll go to the dancing class and to the instrument class. But i wonder if there will be any other classes? Akyio thought as she walked to her maiko classes. #27

Akyio thought as she looked into the tea room. "Is there anything i can help you with?" Akyio asked a she saw a geisha and a ronin. I hope he's okay. His feet do look awfuly damaged.#28

"Yes, Akyio-chan, you should be heading out to your classes now." Yokome said, seeing the girl off. Now that she was free, she decided to practice her fan dancing. She strolled over to her vanity and opened a small, wooden drawer. She took out a slim wooden case and slid it open to reveal her most prized fan.
