Merry Christmas y'all.
I'm doing fine on phones. I prefer face to face conversations, but phones aren't that bad. Just remember that if folks didn't want to be called they'd turn their phone off like normal people do. And if they do pick up and didn't want to talk to you they should just tell you and ask if they can call you later or whatever.
I am starting to hate IMs more than oral conversation, by the way. All my sarcasm gets misinterpreted, my honest remarks are greeted with a "whatever, jerk" and I fret over the other never wanting to talk to me because they went AFK for a few hours without telling.

The few people I do want to call I appreciate too much to want to interrupt them, and everyone else I have no pressing desire to speak to. Normally I solve this by calling them and telling them I'm just coming over to hang out, but a few people I know moved out of state so I feel weird about actually getting in contact with them.
And usually it works both ways with the people I know, which has more or less worked so far.
Texting is great though, I love being able to leave a short message with people. Want to say more? Eh, if they're available I'll just call them. Feels a lot less intrusive that way. Though I hate getting really short texts like "okay" or something, or a text from someone in the same house or next door.
And oh man, on the downside I made a breakfast way too greasy for me to eat. On the upside, I have found the perfect "morning after drinking" breakfast.

It's not so much that I'm afraid I'll interrupt somebody as that I just suck at making conversation. I'll call and then realize I don't really have anything to talk about. And then I feel all nervous and awkward, which makes my voice high and squeaky, which makes me feel even more nervous and awkward.
There are some people I really like talking to on the phone, but it takes me quite a few calls full of awkward silences before I start feeling comfortable. And I absolutely loathe making doctor's appointments and s**t like that over the phone.

Well, I wanted one, so I kinda want to keep it. But at the same time, the price looks like it is still dropping, so I don't know if I should sell it and try to buy it back later. Than again, these things are only available for 10 days, so how much more will it drop?
Or I don't know if I should sell it and try to buy one or two of the other items I like but could never afford like the pale marionette or gaia-tan or gaia-sama or... But I don't know which one I like the most. But then... the others could still go down because they get limited rereleases...
Oh, or I could sell it and get something from dernier cri... But I don't know what I want. Damned indecisiveness. I've never had an item worth this much that might actually go DOWN in price. gonk

It might drop more for now, but I imagine once it's gone for good it will jump up to however much the rest of the cute kitten items cost. @__@ The normal Kitten Star is as expensive as it is with some rereleases in other RIGs, you would probably never see them at all if they were limited.
...I want to buy this stupid RIG. crying ffff

Yeah, you're right, Sor. After looking at the history of the original kitten star on TekTek (Gaia kept pissing me off and saying there wasn't enough data), I'm gonna keep it. If I'm ever tempted to sell it to get, like, 5 unattainable items for one, it's only going to go up in price.
But I never get up the courage to make trades like that. I'm always afraid I'll decide I like the item I sold more than the one I bought and not be able to undo it.
Why does having this thing make me more nervous than having the more expensive old MI's? I guess, even though I know they're actually worth a ********, they're stuck at around 20k in my head since I always bought them new.

I got a robot panda that makes cat and dog noises for Christmas. He'll wail like a puppy nonstop from the second you turn him on, then, all of a sudden, he'll growl or purr like a large cat. Confused little thing. I think the designers were quite addled.

It's a terrible toy, capitalizing on the ignorance and consumerism of the holiday shopper.
That said, the marketing team behind them is genius. Probably sitting somewhere on stacks of cash saying "Hey, next year let's see if we can get them to buy canned dog s**t!"

The only reason my mom got one is because they're cheap, she already gets a ten percent discount, and she knew when the store would actually have them to buy because she works there. Mainly she just wanted to see what was so fire exciting about them. Well Xan, the Chinese are probably already adding lead to the dog s**t as we speak.

You know what, man? If you want to put yet another thing off and rack up even more unnecessary fees, then fine. Sorry for trying to get you to do your Health Fee Waiver now, when you obviously have more important things to be doing in FruityLoops. I was only acting based off of the thousands of dollars you've already cost us for missing your Housing Application deadline.
You're gonna go far in college with this kind of attitude, I just know it.
