Sitting down, beside the rose bushes, Heswina twirled a white rose between her fingers. The thorns stabbing into her thumb and index finger, sending a line of crimson blood into her palm where it began to pool. The seemingly solid puddle of blood reflected her peircing blue eye with strange clarity. There was no pain, not even the slightest of stings, but only a strange sence of security.
