"Hmm..."certainly, the mention of the important dragons (and the somewhat frightening head maid) had caught her attention. "Nope! Nothin' to add, so far as I know,"she said with a slight grin. Wait a second, where the HELL had THAT come from?! Celia sat wide eyed, wondering where inside her head she had come up with the audacity to let that slip out. "I...I um...That came out wrong,"was the closest thing she could manage to a good excuse for the strange statement. "Pleaseforgivemyrudeness!"the Knight said quickly, in a rather high-pitched voice. Frankly, she didn't have the foggiest idea.

Her face was crimson, yet again, and unfortunately for her this time it had absolutely nothing to do with Baran. Frankly, she wanted to go bury her nose in a book where she would never have to face anyone and embarrass herself like that ever again...Maybe one of the library shelves would just fall ontop of her...

Kahaku blinked. That was not like his Celia...lately it seemed every day he was either growing more paranoid, or something was actually changing...No. No, no it couldn't be...It was still so early...There hadn't been enough time yet...

He shook the thought from his mind, realizing he had more important things to attend to; namely, his Knight's confidence. 'Come on Celia, look up, meet her eyes...Be confident. One little slip-up won't mar you forever,'he said, nuzzling her slightly like a cat, hoping that would make her feel better.

Aiketh had raised a brow slightly at the Celia's tone, but shook her head, holding up a hand after she apologized. She dealt with the Dragon Fighters most days. Celia's minor infraction was nothing.

"Come." They were at her office now, and she opened the door for the knight and her dragon to enter, then closed it securely behind them so that they could talk in private. "Lady Micoi aside, I wanted to know how you are faring." Aiketh gave Celia an unusually piercing look. "I know things at the castle have been hectic, to say the least..." she sighed and glanced out the window. And there's still no word from Red Officer. She's been away for longer, but we were expecting her... Aiketh shook off that thought, placing it aside for later.

She stepped quickly through the open door, head still slightly down despite Kahaku's reassurances; frankly, she felt her knees were ready to buckle under that single look from Aiketh. "Um...I've been doing alright...Just...You know, hanging around..."She said, not really sure what it was the officer was looking for her to say...Sure, she had been spending significantly less time in the library as of late...and sure, she hadn't been socializing as much...but everyone went through those phases once in a while, didn't they?

"Er...so..."she had the vaguest feeling that wasn't going to be answer enough for the other dragon. However, whatever more she was looking for, Celia didn't know for certain if she would be able to answer it...After all, she hadn't been able to answer a lot of things lately.

Aiketh glanced at the small dragon while Celia was answering, but was unable to glean any new information from him. She hesitated, then continued. "Celia, I need you to talk to Lady Micoi later. For her safety and the security of the castle it is imperative that we know what happened. Especially," she added, "her past. She told Lord Jett some, but there still are gaps in what we know. It may be that her memories have faded with time. But if she does know more about the attack on her family I need that information. You are of course aware of the difficulties we are facing, especially on our borders but more recently closer to the castle as well." Aiketh's gaze was steely and she met Celia's eyes with a serious calm. "Don't let her know the reason behind your inquiry. We can't afford for any detail, however seemingly insignificant, to be held back."

At this point, the Knight couldn't help but look a little surprised...She was supposed...To spy on the queen? That...well it just didn't seem right. "I...Um...This doesn't seem...Very kind...I mean, I don't think...She would appreciate us sneaking around like this...Wouldn't it be easier to just...Ask her?"said Celia, a bit of a worried look on her face. She didn't want to make Micoi to be angry with her...After all, despite the fact she had been avoiding people more than even usual for her as of late, she didn't want to lose the friends she had...Of course, given that Micoi was the Dragon Queen, maybe 'friend' was an arrogant term...She hoped she wasn't just being tolerated

Aiketh shook her head slowly. "I don't like it either. I just think she would feel more comfortable speaking normally, not being interrogated." She sighed. "I'm sure you've already heard most of what was said. I'll lend you the report compiled on it. If it will make you feel better, you can keep everything she tells you to yourself unless it relates to this and is not something we already know." Aiketh pulled out a thin manilla folder and flipped through it, removing a couple pieces of paper before handing it to Celia. "The knights were going to be shown this information later, so there's no problem with you reading it now. Just be careful with it. Even though it's known in part to the greater portion of the capital, it is still sensitive material."

"...Wouldn't she feel better...If she knew? I mean..."she couldn't quite find the words to express it properly. Even if she didn't have to report everything, it still felt like she would be breaking Micoi's trust. However, regardless, she took the papers from the folder. She couldn't very well ignore an order from one of the Officers. "I guess...I'll do my best, but...I won't do anything i don't think is right, regardless of orders,"She said the last part just about as quietly as she could, but it was still confident.

Aiketh heard Celia's last words, but did not respond to them. There was nothing to say to that; no argument to make. She flipped through the papers she had removed instead, glancing over a couple lines written on them. "If you saw her sometime in the next few days, that would be good," she said, tapping the papers on her desk to straighten them, then laying them neatly inside one of the drawers. Aiketh looked out the window again, over the flash of the garden that was visible from her current position, then shook her head and stood. "That was all. You may go."

"I understand,"she said, nodding a little bit. She didn't want to do it, but at least she knew she didn't have to relay anything she didn't feel comfortable with. As soon as Aiketh dismissed her, Celia scurried to her feet and out the door. She quietly shut it behind her, letting out a deep breath that felt like she'd been holding it since she got into the office...At least, she thought, it wouldn't be that unrealistic for her to seek out the queen...In truth, she had been planning to find her later, and ask if she was alright...She had seemed so scared in town...

Having been unable to get much more logical out of his young bride, or at least at a level that would answer things, the Dragon Emperor had left the girl. His position didn't allow him for too much free time during the day as it was anyway and Micoi actually wanted the time alone now that she wasn't crying her eyes out anymore.

It was some time ago that she and Jett had parted ways and it was now in the middle of the afternoon, just little past three. The day was calm and warm, just like it had been earlier this late spring day when she'd taken out into the capital. The weather and temperature was different here for the young dragon, obviously since she had spent most of her remembered life in the north. It was warmer and more humid in the southern half of the Dusian empire.

The blue-haired dragon was sitting in a drawing room furnitured with a few, tall, bookcases, soft armchairs and sofas and a grand piano, beside some other instruments. The two set of double doors that led out onto a balcony of milky white sandstone stood open to the warming breeze. Summer was just beginning to come in full force, as was the summer blooms with their heady fragrance. A time for games (of many different kinds) and dances, good food and the flirtatious young wines from last year's harvest.

This was the time that Micoi always remembered as the "ice breakers", when the warmth for real hit the north and the demon and wild life of Arinas sprang into action, in many different ways. It made her wonder if Kanak was overworked with the protecting the temple palace that they'd lived in. Although, if he'd managed just fine before she came along, why shouldn't he now too, she wondered as she sat on one end of a plush sofa, staring out through the hole that the open glas doors to the balcony created.

Celia walked quietly through the halls of the castle, heading for Micoi's room...Would the queen be upset that she was asking? Maybe it wasn't any of her buisness...Even though she always had the intention of checking on her, Celia couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive now that she was required to by an officer...What if Micoi didn't want to talk about it? That was reasonable enough...But would Aiketh take that as a reason not to have gotten anything?

Suddenly, the Knight found hereself standing infront of Micoi's door...Apparently while musing, her feet had simply led her there. She looked up at the door, biting her lip just a little anxiously, and then to Kahaku resting on her shoulders...He was always full of good advice....surely he could give some on what to do.

The dragon read her look perfectly. 'Don't worry so much...You let Aikeith know you weren't going to say anything to anyone that Micoi didn't want you to...So really, you've got nothing to fear. Now come on, just knock...' he encouraged, hoping that she would be able to calm down a little bit.

Celia sighed, nodded, and raised her hand, knocking lightly on the door, but undoubtedly loud enough to be heard. She waited a moment or two, then another, and tried to knock again. When the second was met with no reply, she looked at her dragon and said, "I guess she's not in..." However, the Knight was determined to find out if Micoi was at least alright. That was when she remembered something she had overheard from a pair of chatting maids...Supposedly, there as a drawing room the queen liked to go into. Maybe Celia could find her there...

She turned a few more corners, walked another hallway or two, until she thought maybe she was in the right place. Timidly, she knocked on the new door...Was this the place? She hoped so...Honestly, the Knight didn't know where else to look...

Looking away from the view of the garden, surprised, Micoi stared over her shoulder at the crack in the door that she hadn't bothered to close. Who would be knock on this door? Jett kind of didn't need to, it was, in a way, his home so yeah, the officer... that just sounded ridiculous too that they should knock on a drawing room door when said room supposedly was empty. So that left only maids or...

Calling out for the person beyond to enter, Micoi's suspicious were confirmed when the timid Water Knight slipped into the room. Giving the other girl a smile, Micoi turned halfway in her seat so that she wasn't sitting with her back towards the other anymore but a bit more in profile. Her legs had been swung over the armrest over the sofa anyway, so the whole pose had been rather relaxed and perhaps a bit rude in conversation.

"Hi, Celia. What is it?"

Celia smiled a little shyly, honestly a bit surprised to have really found the queen. She stepped into the room, and said, "Um...well...I was...I was just wondering, if...if you were alright...after today I wasn't sure so..." She clutched her left hand in her right behind her back, wringing them slightly...She certainly didn't want Micoi to think she was annoying...Really, she seemed almost as though she was always bothering the queen about one thing or another...

Her eyes went from the floor to the queen, and then back again, wondering secretly if the other dragon would get mad at her for asking...Or worse, just yell and tell her to get out...Really she was quite afraid of those possibilities.

Micoi blinked once at the other girl, face falling back a bit to lean towards blank. Well, what could one answer to that, really? Blinking once again, silently gazing at Celia who still stood by the door, which was almost at the other end of the room, Micoi turned her head towards the floor to ceiling glas doors leading out onto the balcony.

"That... isn't very easy to answer," she finally replied, not breaking eye-contact with the green scenary. No, she wasn't mad at the dragon knight, it was just... not that easy to explain.

"Do...do you want to um....Maybe...Tell me about it? I...I make a good listener, usually..."She said quietly, hoping that Micoi could still hear her, despite the fact her voice had nearly disappeared...Really, could lend an ear pretty well, and some of her advice wasn't half bad. However, it was right at that moment when Celia's confidence seemed to completely collapse, "But...If you just want me to go..." she started edging back toward the door just a little bit.

'Celia, stop. You're doing just fine. If Micoi wants you to go, she'll say so,' Said Kahaku, tightening his tail around her upper arm just a little bit in an encouraging way. He didn't want her to completely lose her confidence again.

Celia nodded just a little bit...He was right...She...Hadn't been told to leave...Yet...
