*Hikaru was a bit disappointed that Clever seemed a little less happy than she had before. He wondered if he did something to upset her, and then wondered why he was even thinking this. He was going to swim over to be closer to her while she was in the hot tub, but when he saw Keira get in with her he changed his mind. He was a bit annoyed by it honestly. He watched Synge swim off to the edge near him. He felt nervous, unsure of if he should even talk to her right now. He couldn't really look at her without feeling strange, she was wearing so little. He took a deep breath he tried to think of her as just a friend. He smiled in her direction.*
I can't believe you jumped in her with Keira. Heh, you are a lot happier these days aren't you? I guess in the end, Ben is the reason for that.

*Clever was a little uncomfortable when Keira enter the hot tub.*
"I'm liking it so far."
*She remember the nice things her mother had mentioned about Synge. Although it was mentioned they didn't talk much Rhodes never had anything bad to say about her. When Clever was told to come to the Darkseas she was told about all the people her mother had met and all the details. It was strange.*

*Synge instantly felt uncomfortable when she saw Hikaru speak to her. However, his smile seemed to ease her a little. It reminded her that he was still the same Hikaru she grew up with. She smiled back at him, trying to forget their kiss, but finding it hard. When he spoke she felt warm, he was being kind about Ben, finally. It meant a lot to her, and it showed.*
T-thank you. Yeah, he is the main reason. That's why...well, yeah.
*She didn't need to say anything, she knew he would understand. It was still a little unclear to her that Hikaru was trying to say he loved her earlier. She looked at Keira and Clever in the hot tub for a moment, then back to Hikaru.*
You know, you really need to just pick on girl someday or you are to going to hurt people.

*Hikaru felt a little pain inside himself as he listened to Synge confirm that Ben was the reason for her happiness. He had wanted to be that reason, but it was impossible. He found her too late. He knew eventually he would have to deal with this, and stop being so immature about things. When he heard her advice he looked over to Keira and then Clever and nodded. Then he looked back at Synge and smiled a bit weakly.*
I did find a girl, but I let her slip away and now someone else gets to have her. I guess you are right though...I should find a new girl and stop messing around so much, heh.

*Keira felt a bit put off by Clever and didn't understand why. she just smiled like nothing was going on and nods*
Well that is good! I hope you stay too. It's always nice to have another woman around here!
*Keira momentarily takes her gaze off Clever and shoots over to Hikaru. She found it a bit off that he was talking to Synge. She wondered how she felt about him right now. She sighs and then turns back to Clever.*
You know, I will try not to leave such a mess for you. I promise.
*Keira was doing the best she could to ease the tension she felt was brewing between them*

*Synge felt strange as Hikaru answered her. Somehow with the way he was looking at her she suddenly understand the situation clearly. She blushed and swam a bit backwards. She smiled a bit sadly. She wasn't sure what to do at first, but she managed to come up with something. She always felt Hikaru was special to her, but Ben was the most important person in her life now. There was no room in her heart to care about Hikaru in that way. Of course, she cared about him deeply as a good friend, but that was all her heart had room for. Her voice was sincere as she spoke.*
I-I didn't know...But now...I'm sorry Hikaru.

*Clever didn't much understand why Keira was how she was, people are different she supposed.*
"I'm glad I could 'elp increase the female population of this place."
*Clever also allowed her gaze to drift to Synge and Hikaru, she felt less threatened by seeing them together then with Hikaru and Keira. Clever went to the other side of the hot tub to mess with the knobbs, soon the hot tub was churning with bubbles. She also look around to see if their were any scents to drop in but upon seeing none she returned to her spot.*
"That's even more relaxing"

*Hikaru smiled and even laughed a little. He reached forward and touched her shoulder, but pulled away quickly. He felt odd touching her in this situation, with them wearing so little. He blushed, a rare thing for him. He felt a little more at peace now that he knew Synge knew his true thoughts. In a way, it freed him.*
Oh come on Synge, don't apologize! Heh, I'm fine.
*As if to confirm this he swam over to the edge of the pool that was closest to the hot tub. He looked up at Clever and Keira. He couldn't decide which was more beautiful, they were so different really. He smiled.*
Why is that you are in there and I'm out here? I thought this was a pool party, not a hot tub party. Right Clever? I know your birthday isn't for a while, but we can still celebrate, right?
*He grinned and splashed the two with some of the cold water from the pool.*

*She looked into Hikaru's deep blue eyes, they were mesmorizing. Clever often wished her eyes weren't so dark, because then people might be able to read her more easily. The cool water was refreshing.*
"No fair, it isn't much of a party without music"
*Clever splashed him with hot tub water in return*

*Keira smiled at Clever's responces. She watched her again as she turned up the bubbles and she leaned back even more smiling and then closing her eyes*
Ahh yeah I kn...
*Just the hikaru pops out of no where and splashes the two with water. This broke her relaxing concentration and she opened her eyes. She once again allowed her eyes to fall on Hikaru's body. This time she didn't even realize that she was doing it. That same face came over her again becuase she couldn't help it. All she could do was thinking about the 3 times she had kissed him. She wanted so bad to do it now, but knew she couldn't. What with Synge watching and clever being new it would be rude. Plus she felt as if Hikaru was a bit put off by Keira like he felt weird around her*

*Synge watched Hikaru swim away and she smiled a bit sadly. She felt confused about Hikaru, but she was certain of her feelings for Ben. So she wasn't going to dwell on this situation. She thought of what happened between them earlier tonight and decided to simply shrug it off. Telling Ben would only upset him, and make him hate Hikaru even more. She didn't want this. She swam around the pool gracefully, remembering her first swim in a pool ever, shared her with Ben. She smiled to herself and felt excited about the thought of getting in bed with him soon. She swam to the steps and got out of the pull, grabbed a towel to wrap around her body and sat near the pool to dry off while still being in the company of the others.*

*Hikaru felt Clever splash him with the warm water and he laughed.*
Well, I guess someone should start singing then. Any volunteers. What about you, since it was your suggestion?
*He winked in Clever's direction and smiled. She glanced at Keira and saw how she was looking at him. He smiled and looked at her for a moment.*
What? You aren't going to splash me back to? Losing your fighting spirit? Or are you just planning a way to get me later?

*Keira wasn't sure if Hikaru would get her meaning or if the other two would either. She just shrugged it off and closed her eyes once more enjoying the hot tob bubbles*

*Clever internally grimaced at what Keira said, it sounded.. well she didn't know what it sounded like but she didn't much care for it. As for a suggestion of singing, she was actually happy to, she was quite good.*
"Alright I will sing"
*((I am going to describe a song, and won't go into lyrics don't feel like it)) Clever starts singing her song, it is in a different language sort of a mix of russian and romanian. It was a melancholy tune that might remined some one of greensleeves in a way. Her voice was silky strong and melodic. Even with the sad undertones of the song Clever smiled happily as she sang.*

*Hikaru raises an eyebrow at Keira's response. Honestly, the idea that was floating around in his head excited him. However, when he looked over at Synge he remembered what she had said to him. He was going to have to start taking things slower if he was going to avoid hurting someone, but it might be hard. He watched Keira silently for a moment as she closed her eyes. He wasn't sure what to say to avoid sounded too promiscuous in front of Clever and Synge. He looked back to Clever and smiled. He was surprised to hear her agree to sing. He leaned against the edge of the pool and listened to her song. The melody was beautiful to hear. He looked up at her as she sang and he saw that the melody wasn't the only beautiful thing, he was entranced. He didn't speak, he just listened and watched with his piercing blue eyes.*
