She was sad to hear that the other dragon had to leave, but it was understandable...While the Knights on standby between missions at the castle might not have had tons to do, that didn't mean the rest of the staff had the luxury of being idle. Undoubtedly, Ana still had a lot to do...

"Hmm...well...I'm not sure about Baran, but I'm not doing anything really for a while now...Maybe...the day after tomorrow? Or...Is that too soon?"she asked, a little bit fumbling with her words again. For some reason Celia just didn't feel as confident as she had earlier. She almost felt as if something had simply receded into her, taking all that sense of self-security with it.

((okay, its short, and took forever. Sorry guys!! T___T))

Ana smiled as she made her way out the door with the laundry, looking back over her shoulder at Celia. "That sounds good. We'll work something out, I'm sure of it. Don't worry, even if we can't get a time settled upon right away, I'll still see you again when I come back to return your book," Ana finished with a giggle. She surprised herself with her reassuring tone and how she had come to take control of their conversation, passing it off back and forth with Celia instead of just letting the other dominate it. She wondered if it was because of how much of herself she saw in Celia and how relaxed she felt around her... or if it had more to do with the heady rush she got from Liozu and how, even now, she could still feel his voice on her skin.

After Ana departed, Celia went back to work cleaning up her mystery mess, though she felt a lot better now as she did it. She used her shield to let herself plummet her hand into the still boiling water, and pull the plug allowing the water to drain. The knight ran a towel across the tiled floor, sweeping up any stray droplets of water into the fabric. She just wanted to get this mess cleaned up...to put it behind her as quickly as possible.

When the Knight finished cleaning up the water in the bathroom, she changed clothes, not wanting to leave her soaking outfit on to drip all over. She changed back into her white outfit, finding the circumstances for this change much more preferable than the last time she had to do so…After all, water was significantly less gross than blood. She dried her hair, and then brushed it out well before putting it back up in the tight bun with her senbon. Celia was determined to do two things now; 1) she needed to apologize for walking off on Baran like that, and 2) she needed to see if he was free for the day she and Ana had plotted.

((rolling right along~))

Baran was sitting outside the Fighters' HQ one one of the short wooden benches in the dirt by the sparring ring, sharpening his blade. He did not really need to be doing that, but it was something nice, repetitive, and non-threatening. He needed something like that right then. He sighed, putting down the sharpening stone and looked up at the sky. Of course he was worried; he could not help it.

"Maybe I should go get her a card or flowers or something..."

It was at that exact moment that Celia happened upon him. "Flowers are always a good option,"she said with a little bit of a smile, as she sat down next to him. She felt a little better even now, and since she was sitting near Baran, that only helped to improve things. As usual, she felt god whenever she was around him, despite what might have been going on with the rest of the universe. "Hi,"she said, with a bit of a sheepish smile, "I'm sorry about earlier...I should have waited for you." She really did feel bad about it...Given, the reason she had given was a lie, but it was a reasonable lie...And as for the truth, could she be blamed for not knowing what had happened?

Baran looked up with a start. "Oh! Celia!" His face broadened into a smile. "I didn't see you." He edged over a little on the bench to give her more room. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better,"she said with a smile. It was nice that he was worried, but she also felt bad for it. "In fact...Um...I was talking to Ana...and...Um...Would you...Like to go out? We were thinking that the two of us....and her and Liozu could go into town together...The day after tomorrow?"she said, blushing a bit as she said it. She was more than a bit embarrassed to ask, but...well, she really wanted to go with him.

"Huh? Oh! Sure!" Baran nodded enthusiastically. "I'd love that. Did you girls decide on a time yet? Man," he leaned back against the outer wall of the building, looking out across the dirt ring. "Liozu." He shook his head slowly. "That guy's awesome. I'd heard of him before I got to the castle," Baran started to explain. "He came through Luwa once on a mission or something, I guess. Killed a demon out that way. Everyone loved him. Even after I applied here I never thought I'd get to be in such close contact with him..." He stopped himself, rubbing the back of his head embarrassedly. "Sorry. I don't mean to gush over him or anything. I mean, you're a Dragon Knight too! I can't believe you even let me talk to you," he laughed. "I told my family about you. My sister accused me of lying."

Celia somehow managed to get even redder. She didn't think she was even that good at being a Knight; Given, she always completed her missions, and had a few tricks up her sleeves that were a little unusual, but...Well, she didn't think it really merited disbelief like that. "Well, if you want...Sometime we can go prove it,"she replied with a smile. She liked Luwa, but hadn't been there in a while...

"And so you know...I'm actually the one who's surprised to talk to you. I mean, come on, I'm the castle bookworm...You have so many friends, and a family, and..."The knight let herself trail off. She was lucky, really, really lucky, to have Baran around.

Baran laughed her off. "You're flattering me." He took her hand and kissed it, winking cheekily and managing to cover the slight flush on his cheeks. "But if you want to go to Luwa, that would be great. I'd love to have you come with me next time I go home on a visit. We've got an extra room you could stay in, if you wanted."

"I would like that, very much..."She said, the pink of her complexion growing as he kissed her hand. It made her feel good, knowing that someone liked her as much as this. "And i'm not just flattering you...I say it because its true...and...I...I really like you...a lot..."she said the last few words so quietly she doubted strongly that he even heard her...Which, frankly, she couldn't deny being a little happy about...This was so strange! How in heaven had those words even managed to escape her lips? The knight was positively crimson now, hoping he wouldn't take it too badly.

Baran could not help but be unable to keep the grin from sticking foolishly to his face. He felt that it would be visible to a bystander, even from behind. He had heard her, if only barely, and while he was not entirely sure he had heard correctly he did not care.

"Same here." Baran said, throwing an arm genially around her slender shoulders and pulling her playfully into him. For a stunning, crazy moment it seemed to him as though the world had fallen away and only the two of them, seated on the worn wooden bench, remained. He kissed her before he realized what he was doing, his warm lips meeting hers, and felt his grip tighten on her arm.

Aiketh cleared her throat, watching with a brief flash of amusement as the two jerked apart.

"Celia, I wanted to speak to you. Would you come with me to my office?" Her voice was professionally, carefully kept even more so than normal so as to mask the impulse to laugh. "Now."

As soon as the two word, "Same here" left Baran's mouth, Celia could feel her eyes widen, and a smile start to play across her own. Then a warm secure arm placed around her shoulders? Was this really happening? No, no it was too nice to be happening...But there it was. And then the kiss.

For a moment, Celia thought her heart would stop then and there. His lips were so soft...She kissed him back, gladly, barely able to contain the happiness she felt in that moment within herself...And then there was that cough.

As soon as the kiss was broken, the Water Knight seemed to almost disappear in a tide of blush. "Um...Um...Yes. Yes of course..."she said, only loud enough so that she was certain the officer would hear it. She had noticed, however, that despite the fact their lips had been forced to part, apparently her hand didn't share the sentiment; As Celia stood to follow Aiketh (rather reluctantly), she found that her hand had closed around Baran's...It was warm, just like his lips...Reluctantly she let it go, with what was quite possibly one of the world's most blissful smiles, that simply read as true to her happiness as could be.

The Knight followed after the Officer, casting a smile back over her shoulder at him as she went...She didn't care that today had just barely started; today was a good day.

Kahaku had kept his distance from the pair, having wanted to give his Knight a chance to test the waters on her own...and he was not upset that he had done so. His little dragon face held but the tiniest of smirks, quite happy to see that Celia was doing more than dabbling in the waters of Romance...

However, he did wish he had spotted Aiketh sooner. Had he, he probably would have tried to stall the officer a few minutes longer. Unfortunately, with things having gone as they did, there was little he could do in this situation save follow after Celia. He flew after her, landing and settling himself comfortably on her shoulders once more.

"Neith tells me you were with Lord Jett and Lady Micoi when there was that incident in town." Aiketh was picking her words with great care, deferring to the higher status of the two rulers and also trying to draw Celia's mind away from the recent developments in her life to the more serious topic at hand. In all actuality, mentioning the head maid had just been a tactic to grab the Dragon Knight's attention. There was no need to mention Neith at all; the queen-to-be's behavior had been the talk of the castle gossips almost since before the small party had returned. Aiketh grimaced internally, thinking of what must be being said about it outside of the castle walls as well.

"I wanted to ask you about that. Baran gave his verbal report already and I wanted to know if you had anything to add."
