Ellen jumped when she heard another teen's voice, her head lifting so quickly from her hands she nearly got whiplash. This was horrible. She was already going to have a reputation around this place for being hazardous. Her attempt at explaining the situation using telepathy was a big flop, as it caused her to accidentally toss another book into a wall. If she could've, she would've cried out in surprise; this couldn't be happening. Her hand darted into her pocket and pulled out her notepad, furiously scribbling an apology. She didn't care that it was an enormous run-on sentence; she just needed to explain. Unfortunately, in her fervour, her power snapped the pencil in half.
GAAAAAAAAAH!!! Ellen wailed mentally, flopping back onto the ground. Just when things were starting to look up, the were dragged right back through the ground.

With a contented grin, Damon finished the omelet, gently laying the fork on the plate. The meal had been especially flavorful, quite a wonderful example of breakfast cuisine. And, now that it was merely a memory, Damon moved to clear his dishes into the washer.
The others were absorbed in their own conversation, Sarah buzzing around the sink and stove top, turning every now and again to reply to a question. The kitchen had been growing more and more lively as the morning went on, and, even though he had enjoyed breakfast, the growing crowd of people made him uncomfortable. Putting his dishes away into the machine, he turned to silently make his way out of the kitchen.
He wasn't sure where he'd go when he was away from everyone else. He didn't even know much about the building or its premises. But he would appreciate being alone while he contemplated his situation. There was a lot he needed to think through, many different nagging details that were eating away at him.

Conner had held back when the room went nuts, quickly figuring Ellen as the centre of the attack he waited for the destruction to subside before he approached her. He heard Morgan call out to him but held back a reply. He stopped for a second as a book flew by and slammed into the wall but continued creeping closer afterward.
"Morning Morgan." He said quietly as he knelt down besides Ellen and attempted to calm her. "This is Ellen, she has ESP abilities and she's obviously lacking some control. Where's the professor?" He gently cradled Ellen's head with his hands at the back of her skull so she wouldn't hurt herself incase she convulsed and then waited.

"We can leave now," muttered Victoria with a shrug. Glancing around at the other's who volunteered themselves for the ride to make sure they were okay with it. There was no response initially, but she figured, since she had the keys and had made the offered, she had the authority to say when or if they were leaving. That was her theory and she was sticking to it.
The young mutant had just opened her mouth give a retort to Morgan's snide comment concerning the set of keys which were currently in her possession, but unfortunately, he left the room before she could do so. Something in the foyer had broken, apparently, and he had decided to be a good Bayviller and investigate. Apparently, the smashed real estate was caused by a friend of Conner's, as Morgan was thoughtful enough to shout this information back in her direction.
Sighing softly and shaking her head, she made the trek out of the kitchen, meanwhile motioning for those who wanted the tour to follow. "There's no need to yell," she explained evenly as she came to stand not to far off from Morgan. Looking up, she confirmed that Conner was indeed home (finally) and that he had, in fact, bought a friend. One whom she recognized immediately.
"Oh," said Victoria, smiling lightly at the girl, who was currently sitting on the floor like chair had gone out of style. "Ellen? Mega-mart girl? So she's one of us, eh? Welcome to the club."

((Gonna bring the professor into the room briefly.))
Ellen looked up and smiled feebly, her powers finally calming down somewhat. She was glad they were being so understanding of her predicament. Normally, people screamed in fear or anger. Carefully, she stood up, making sure her powers were under control. Following her first instinct, she rushed over to clean up the mess she'd made, starting with the books. Without a broom, she'd have a hard time cleaning up the broken glass. That was when the professor Connor had mentioned entered the room, his wheelchair moving over one of the ruined ceramics. He looked over at Ellen and smiled, which made the girl feel a little uncomfortable. If this man was the one in charge, why wasn't he mad at her?
"Miss Langraaf," The professor said, stopping her dead, "it can't be helped that you don't have perfect control over your abilities. With our help, I'm certain that you'll be able to control them in time. I'm not mad at you." The wheelchair-bound man smiled warmly, which had the frail girl smiling back. He was being genuinely nice to her, something she wasn't used to from people outside her home. His wheelchair rotated on the spot and he left the room again, telekinetically moving the broken vases and wrecked books behind him. She just smiled and ran a hand through her skunk colored hair.
Some introduction, huh? Ellen laughed telepathically, sending her last thought for the day. She didn't want to risk using her powers in case they got out of hand again. All she needed was a new pencil or pen and she'd be ready.

Sara nodded at Victoria. "Just let me finish up the dishes..." She said as she finished off the last pan and the last of the breakfast dishes. Sure they had a dishwasher but Sara had yet to see one where you didn't have to pre-wash the dish before you put it in. She quickly dried her hands and glanced to Victoria who exited the room. Shrugging she followed being a nosey southern girl. She remained quiet though and hung around looking at the chaotic room. "Looks like a tornado hit." She said quiety to herself.

Lizz made a face at the thought of being lazy by the pool. "As tempting as that sounds right now. I need to be actually doing something....anything...." She said watching the coffee perk. "I'd head to the mall but someone went and nearly torched the place." She said sighing.

"Good morning you happy people!" Marcus announced as he walked into the kitchen. "It's nice to see you all up and functioning." He said flopping down into a chair in the Brotherhood kitchen and pulling his breakfast sandwich out of the bag. "Whoever made coffee had my eternal and undieing gratitude and if the maker is female I shall propose marrige on the spot." He said before taking a bite of his sandwich. "The twits in the fast food place screwed my coffee up...I dispise decaf..."

"Okay. I'm coming up." Tabitha said. The gate then opened and she drove up the driveway, arking in the turnaround in front of the house. She'd move the car later after she was moved in. Then she got out of the car and then opened the front door going in. She walked around the house until she found where everyone was. Then she said "Hey everyone. I'm moving back in."
Kevin knew that his best bet was to go to the circus to get his memory back. "Thanks. I'll be ready in a minute." He then quickly finished his cereal. When he was done he noticed everyone was gone, so he got off his seat and followed the voices. He came to where everyone went. Then he saw Conner, and for some reason Kevin knew that he was with Conner yesterday. He thougt about asking him, but then once again he knew the Profesor would get involved and he had a gut feeling that that would be a bad idea for some reason. All he decided to say was "Hi Conner."

David was about to make a comment about the situation at the mall being partly his fault, but decided it was probably best to keep his mouth shut. They didn't need to know about his psychotic streak just yet. That was something personal, and would probably not be divulged unless someone dragged it out of him.
"Well, you've got Lizz here to thank for the coffee... So, what are you waiting for? Drop to one knee, or something," David said, teasing Marcus.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey, Tabitha. I think your room's still empty," Morgan said, barely giving a second glance to the blond as she walked into the foyer where everyone else seemed to be standing around.
"Ellen, huh? Nice to meet you. I'm Morgan," he said, turning his attention back to the telepath.

"Aaahhh...." He said looking her over. Since he said it he might as well carry through with it. Besides it's great for entertainment value. Markus dropped on a knee next to her chair. "Marry me...be mine forever!" He said his tone not the least bit serious. "Honestly though...thanks for the coffee." He said sitting back in his chair.

The others crowded into the front foyerm while Damon attempted to slip by and back upstairs. Though he was curious as to what was going on, it wasn't his place to stick his nose into other people's business. Noone was bothering him to know his so he should return in kind.
He managed to walk the length of stairs without making very much noise, the sounds of the others' voices trailing off as he began to walk down the hall. Counting the doors from the stairwell, he made his way back to the room he had found himself in a short while ago. It seemed like the best place to stay right now, rather than wandering through the mansion and getting hopelessly lost.
He slipped inside, the door opening and shutting silently and swiftly. The room was just as he had left it, comfortable if a bit empty, and the bed was slightly disheveled from when he had slept on it. Sunlight streamed in through the window, illuminating the room with a warm glow. It was different from his old room... dark, cluttered with books and drawings.
But, despite the pleasant surroundings, his thoughts weighed heavy as he mused on the future. What was he going to do? He had no money, only the clothes on his back, and even still, he was somewhere away from his home where he knew noone and nothing around him. He felt quite... hopeless.

Blade had poked her head into the room and watched the scene unfold. She blinked a few times and sighed. Things never seemed to get dull as a mutant, it appeared. Not that she minded, it was just something to get used to. "So . . . does this normally happen around here?"

Ellen nodded and shook Morgan's hand, trying to indicate nonverbally that it was nice to meet him as well. She would've written him a note, but she'd accidentally blown up her pencil, and she didn't have a pen. Another option was sending another telepathic message, but she didn't want to risk reading everyone's minds; it was bad enough that she'd made a mess of the foyer. Her introduction to the mansion's students had already been big enough as it was. Hopefully she wouldn't have too many more episodes while she was in their presence.

Lizz eyed Markus for a long quiet moment. "You have serious issues...." She said mildly. "And no...I enjoy being single." She added as she got up and helped herself to a second cup of coffee. "So anywho." She said looking at David and Markus. "Any idea's as to what to do...because it's looking toward being a beauty of a day."
------------------------------------------------
Sara had never seen Tabitha before so the fact that she was moving back in was lost on her. "Okay." She said. "Welcome back!" She said with a smile before shrugging at Blade. "I guess it does...keeps life interestin." She said.

"Yeah," said Victoria with a nod in response to Blade's question. "It kinda does. Lucky for you, today's a light day; Sometimes it's worse."
That said, she flashed a quick smile before turning her attention back to Ellen, who still seemed to be sprawled out on the floor. It did not take a mind-reader to know that she was uncomfortable and embarrassed and the fact that everyone and their Mother was staring at her was not helping the situation much.
"Let's get you off the floor here," she said, quickly offering her hand to help Ellen up. Remembering that Ellen's preferred way of communication seemed to be via pen and paper, Victoria glanced back at Tabitha as something occurred to her.
"Hey, Tabby?" she asked, her tone turning discreet in an instant. "Shuffle into the kitchen for me will ya, and look by the phone. There should be a pack of Post-its and a pen. Bring 'em over for our guest, please?"
