Ignoring Orochi's command for her to move, she stood with her back against the charging serpent with a smirk on her face. Instead of being completely destroyed by it, she fused with the light snake. There was a reason why light did no harm to light elementals.
Melodie pulsed her power through the snake, easing its destructive energy. Light was easier to control when there was as little conflict in it as possible. After doing that, she separated herself from the snake and flew back to her
physical body. Her eyes scanned the area for Lake. Once she found him, Melodie sliced the air with her scythe, making a sharp blade made out of howling winds charge at the male.

 "Angel!" Lake yelled when he saw the huge beast swallow him whole. His eyes widened and he noticed that the rest of the poison poured out of his leg. "Dammit! I'm going to lose!" He yelled in his head. He noticed Melodie and had watched her attempt to attack him. "Damn!" He thought as he sunk down into the ground as a puddle just barely dodging the attack. He quickly squirmed to Melodie in his water form and had reached under her. He quickly turned the puddle he was into ice and morfed himself from in it causing her feet to stick to the ground. He closed her eyes at her. "I don't see how we can win now.." He said looking defeated. "But I have no choice but to continue." He said turning his arm fully ice and attempted to jab the shard of ice into her.

The sudden feeling of coldness elicited a gasp from her. Melodie looked down and saw that Lake was aiming to stab her. With a determined expression, she brought the end of her scythe down onto the ice. Upon impact, it let out a massive shock wave, stronger than she had intended. Feeling the ice crack, Melodie wasted no time as she leaped away from Lake. Noticing that her leg was stinging quite badly, Melodie knew that when the ice had cracked, more than a few pieces sliced her fair skin whilst the others pierced it. Leaning on her good leg, she threw a couple of hot light grenades. Instead of emitting a shock wave upon impact, it would burst, releasing a surge of extreme heat.
"Give up," Melodie murmured, pointing her scythe at Lake.

Lake watched her quickly counter his attack. "She's too fast for me.." He thought as she pushed him away with a shock wave that pushed him away from almost making him fall. Right when he was about the fall he heard the ice crack and his eyes widened. "Impossible!" He said as he felt a few grenades hit onto his skin and burned him with heat. "Ahh!" He yelled as he fell to the ground. He opened his eyes in pain and got up slowly. "No..." He said to her obviously in pain. "Sadly I won't let you make me give up!" He turned his arms into water tentacles and stared at her angrily. He shot the water into the ground and it froze into ice. "Blizzard!" He yellled and the whole place began to get icier and slowly became full of ice. "I'm better in these areas..." He said and then turned his attention to the beast that had melted the ice with its immense glow. "Dammit.." He said as the place turned into a water terrain again. "Well... better than land." He said as he dove down in the water and started freezing parts that Melodie was under.

 The giant serpent swallowed the angel boy whole trapping him inside its body where he was continually seared with light. Melodie's choice to merge with the massive serpent was not a smart one. The snake was a being made of pure light just as Melodie was, the only difference between them was that the serpent was over a hundred times larger. Its scale alone allowed it to counter Melodie's light absorbing abilities back on her. When she tried to pulse her energy through it to calm it down it only collected the energy to add to its own power. And while she remained inside the snake continually drained the light out of her just as she had done to other attacks so many times before. By the time she had separated from the snake it had sapped almost half of her energy, and the snake had increased in size appropriately. "Idiot I told you to get back" Orochi reprimanded her. However in that instance he took his concentration off of the spell and the serpent let out a defiant roar. "uh-oh" he said stepping back a few feet. The serpent slowly swayed its head over to Orochi, its former master, and opened its gaping maw. It fired the angel boy out of its mouth like a projectile smashing into Orochi sending them both crashing into one of the walls of the structure the impact causing it to cave in slightly. "this is bad" he said weakly pushing the angel boy off of him. The serpent began to go beserk and fired down blasts of light from its mouth down on the crowd below without prejudice or mercy.

Lake was starting to get onto her nerves. Oddly enough, Melodie started to feel fatigued. H-huh...? Her skin prickled once more at the freezing sensation. Just when she was about counter Lake's attacks once more, a stray blast of light managed to hit her. It felt wonderful. Feeling the energy flowing through her veins, she began to heat up her body, causing the ice to melt. Albeit, the process was somehow slow due to the fact that the arena was surrounded by Lake's element, though all she needed was blast the ice away with a shock wave. Melodie did just that. The slivers and chunks of ice caused lacerations and gashes on her skin. Gritting her teeth in pain, she sent another shock-wave out, causing the ice shards to fly away from her and into the area. If she was lucky enough, it'd hit Lake...

 Angel flew out of the beasts mouth and hit Orochi sending them both flying into a wall. He seemed dizzy and was grabbing onto his head. "Well.. Ouch.." He said softly before he got pushed by Orochi. "ouch again..." He said annoyed. He looked at the beast. "We need to stop it.." He said turning his head to Orochi.Lake saw her destroy the ice again only to make her the shardsd pierce her skin. He saw the ice shards and shock waves going after him and he focused his energy on heating the water making the ice melt. He then swam away from the shock waves. He looked up and saw the serpent attacking out. "That dumb snake!" He thought as he drained the water into his hand. He walked towards Melodie showing no harm. "We need to defeat that thing... so right now... truce?" He asked pointing his finger at the monster attacking the crowd.

Suwako watched as the serpent started to go berserk 'Orochi if you can't control your pets then don't summon them" She thought as she watch the beast she wasn't sure what to do but if the beast attacked the other students she would jump in

Orochi nodded. "yes it'd be bad to let that much raw energy run rampant" He raised his hand and shot three snakes from his sleeve at the massive beast but they were incinerated on contact. "damn" He stomped on the ground and two giant shadow snakes emerged from out behind him. The snakes flew forward once again to try to subdue the massive serpent, but only after a few seconds they to were overwhelmed by the snake's radiant light. "damn it, good going you angel bastaard, because of the holy energy we got from you that thing is pretty much immune to my attacks" he said angrily. He had to think of something fast. "I know" he grabbed Angel and shadow jumped beside Melodie. "you angel boy, shoot that holy judgement attack at Melodie again, Melodie we're gonna poor as much light into you as possible so you can contend with that thing" He said hugging onto her again and placing his hands over hers. As she was the snake could easily absorb her if she tried to touch it, but if they could increase her power enough she might be able to absorb it herself. He looked over at the water elemental realizing he hadn't given him anything to do. "you....ah...distract the serpent while we charge up Melodie."

Her breathing was harsh and rugged whilst her shoulders were sagging. The wound were getting to her. Melodie had a rudomentarly knowledge of healing, but that would just sap her energy. It should also be noted that her healing skills would only be able to heal the small cuts.
As soon as Lake began to approach her, Melodie took on a defensive stance. What is he up to...? That was soon answered when he spoke. Her gaze flickered onto the wild beast. And here I though Orochi would be able to control it... At least he has a plan... Melodie preferred not to stop the snake, since it would be to her advantage, but Xavier's face suddenly flashed in her mind. She narrowed her eyes before nodding once. Melody would do it... For Xavier's sake. "Let's do it, Orochi.." she said softly, clutching his hand.

Suwako looked at the creature before summoning several sharp iron rings as she threw them at the creatures head
"come on, pay attention to me now" She stated hoping to get it's attention

Orochi nodded and squeezed her hand tightly causing a ring of light to form around them. He channeled as much light into her as possible. Though he couldn't shake the awkward feeling of powering up someone he considered to be the biggest threat to his power outside of the teachers.
Meanwhile the snake continued to rampage. It opened its mouth and fired out a massive beam of light that blew up one of the massive speakers that made up the structure surrounding them. The weaker students started to flee filing at the entrance, however in this frantic act they ended up cloging the exit with their bodies as they all tried to be the first to get to freeddom. The stronger students stayed back and tried their best to fight the snake, but it didn't even seem to notice them. The snake gazed at the massive crowd of people at the entrance and opened its mouth to fire a beam and take them all out at once, but at the last second Suwako's barrage of ring blades managed to knock its head upwards causing the beam to fire harmlessly into the sky. Looking back down it spotted the tiny demi god and slowly fell down wards towards it hoping to consume it like it did to angel.

"Ok now to follow up, this is going to take alot out of me" Suwako thought as the snake began it's decent on her
"Native God; Master Moriya God" Suwako announced channeling her energy surrounding herself in an aura that took the form of a giant frog that equal the size of the snake.
"Now chew on this" Suwako told the snake the frog jumped with Suwako still in the center
The Frog landed squarely on the snakes head forcing it to the ground trying to pin it

"Right." Lake said as he jumped in front of the beast that was attacking Suwako. He saw Suwako managing to keep it from swallowing her. "Okay. Water strike: Ice Bomb!" He said as he shot a big blast of water that turned to ice as speed was gained. It seemed stronger than any move he did during the earlier fight. When the ice hit the serpent it blew up it would leave the serpent covered in ice but it wouldn't actually help much knowing the serpent could easily break free."K." He said closing his eyes. His dark form slowly turned to his light form and his clothes turned back to normal besides the rips along with the rest of his different appearance. "Okay now.!" He shouted. "Holy judgement!" He said as his cross sword turned silver and shot light at the elemental.Cross grabbed hold of Rei picking her up and jumped out of the top of the arena floating down swift as a feather. "K.." He said placing her down. "Imma see if I can help with defeating that thing." He said looking at the destruction it was causing. He jumped back into the arena and was about to land on the serpent. "Boulder Leg!" He said as his leg turned incased of rock. He landed on the serpent. "Did.. I manage to hurt it?" He asked himself.Ron turned to Patchi. "If we help the students may learn nothing.." He said smiling. "This could help them but it could harm them." He said sighing. "What to do Patchi?" He asked as he slowly rose up from the seat he was in.Plus hear alot of noise and looked at Cielle. "It seems something bad is happening." He said looking out the window and seeing the serpent. "You can go help them if you want." He said going back to the two boys.
