Arell looked over at the detective. "If dere's a possibility dat whoever dis is did a few crimes in de past, we can somehow connect 'em and it'll lead us right to the criminal." the Cajun said, reaching into his inner Sherlock Holmes (and the FBI Database all at the same time. Take THAT, voodoo curse!)

Harvey continued on Arell's logic, "Okay. Fine. While Holsten is collectin anything that might be used in CODIS, you go ahead and check CJIS and see if there are anythin on Miss Slice-n-Dice."

Arell smiled. "Doan' worry, hon. Remind me t' tell you about some funny-lookin' thing in my eye." the Cajun said, scanning the FBI database for any similar crimes . . . finding three, but two were from Japan . . . and the other was from Boston!
"Whoever did dis, did it befo'. I picked up three similar cases in Tokyo, Nagasaki and Boston."

((Still a lot of things on criminals wouldn't of if they are in the Avengers or X-Men databases. They wouldn't willingly give up their information, even to the JLA and vise versa. And SHIELD wouldn't give it up to ANYONE if they have her information and would try to keep other people from having it.))

Arell looked at both of the people. "She is from de Marvel Universe. Dey call her lady Deathstrike o' sometin' to dat nature." he said, lighting a cigarette like a detective from an old movie.
"De two Japanese incidents doan' have much detail to 'em, BUT de Boston one happened . . . last yeah. She's one of da first t' make de leap into our universe."

//True. But there would be reports of occurances. Even if they wouldn't necessarily know the 'who', they would know the 'what'. The data bases would probably be adjusting to both universes -- there will be glaring errors -- but some things would be present and known. [We'll just wing it, okay?]//

"Wait. Deathstrike? So we need the X-Men ANYWAY? Ain't no rest for the wicked..." She sihed again. "This is just my luck, ya' know?"
She knew about the woman from reading the comics and watching the cartoons and she didn't want to cross hairs with her.
(Crystal is also not perfect, and COULD miss reports if they were not labeled correctly))

Arell looked at Harvey first. "Naw bud, not Deathstroke. Our li'l psychopath is deathSTRIKE, and she means business!" the Cajun continued. He didn't remember reading much of her in the dimestore comic books, but knew enough to know that this was NOT going to be a walk in the park!
"Now de FBI don't have too much info on 'er, but if we can find a weakness, we can possibly taker her down 'nuff to get 'er t' de State Pen." he said, taking a small drag on his smoke.
