Lifting her arms up she stretched for a little bit. As she did so she could feel the sore parts of her body. Once she finished doing that she stood back up on her feet. Clearing her throat she began to perform the technique. Step by step she went. Every thing seemed to be going just fine until she got distracted a made the wrong seal. It threw her chakra off. Not only that but she felt some leave her body even though she hadn't even done it. Putting her hands down she sighed. What was up with her? The first two times she had tried doing the Henge had been successful. Why was everything going down hill now? Was it because she was getting too overconfident making her loss concentration? One thing she knew for sure was this time she had messed up on the seals. Meaning she hadn't been paying attention to them. It was a mistake she would try avoiding in the future.

Aryza tried it again. Just like last time it was going fine then her chakra went out of whack once more. This frustrated her. "WHY!?" She let some angry air out. What went wrong this time? She couldn't tell she had been distracted. Oh wait that was probably the reason. Angry at herself for failing again she shook her head. Focus! You need to FOCUS! She yelled at herself. Taking in a deep breath she calmed herself down. This time. This time she was sure something good would happen. All she needed to do was keep her focus where it was necessary and avoid getting distracted. Something she'd been failing at for the past tries. I've already done two. which means I have three more left in order to finish the lesson. Aryza was sure she'd be able to get the lesson done. Even if it meant failing a thousands times first. She would keep on trying until she had her success.

Takeshi walked through the town with Kiyoshi at his side. He chose to walk at an easy pace, allowing his body to recuperate as much as possible before his training began. He held his hands locked behind his head in a relaxing posture, but eventually, he felt the need to open the orange bottle and pop one of the pills in his mouth. Takeshi felt relief within moments, and became a bit drugged, but not so much that someone on the street could notice. Only someone as close as Kiyoshi or someone watching his movements carefully would know. But before long, the drugs died down a bit, and kept at a constant level that simply took away most of the pain.

Before long, he found himself staring out into the Open Meadows, and off in the distance he could see the Memorial Stone. A ways past that, and he knew that he would come across the shinobi burial grounds, where his father's grave laid. It saddened Takeshi, as he had not thought about his father's death in some time. He instinctively moved his hands away from their relaxing position behind his head and put one in his pocket and the other clutched the handle of his ninjato.

The two walked for a bit and eventually came upon the Memorial Stone. Takeshi sat down upon the obelisk and looked to Kiyoshi for instruction.

Kiyoshi stopped, sighing and looking down. "Alright Takeshi-kun. I can't say I will be spending a lot of my time on this, considering you may not even be placed in my cell. However, the least I can do is teach you our clan's most symbolic jutsu. The Goukakyou is a right-of-passage that most Uchiha learn to prove they are worthy of becoming shinobi.I learned it at six, before I entered the academy. I used this often during my genin months. Watch as I demonstrate before teaching you the mechanics."

His eyes slowly turned crimson, the pupils bleeding, the tomoe forming. His hands were still in his pockets as his beautiful Sharingan glazed over and screamed towards the sky. Kiyoshi's demeanor no longer looked calm and serene but fierce. His thick eye-lashes only seemed to exemplify the tomoe as they spun, still looking over the clouds.

The Jounin's hands moved out of his pockets as he continued to gaze at the sky, his hands seemed to blur in break-neck speed as he stopped at the tiger-seal. His voice was serene as always "Katon. Goukakyou No Jutsu~", his eyes didn't even show excitement as he inhaled very little, breathing out a gargantuan ball of fire. The sky seemed to turn orange as the massive ball of flame cracked the ground around him, his hair moving back. Kiyoshi's fireball was extremely potent indeed.

Takeshi watched in amazement as Kiyoshi activated his Sharingan before he did the Goukakyo no Jutsu. At first, Takeshi was almost put off by how Kiyoshi's calm self seemed to fade away as his Sharingan blossomed, and how he changed his expression from serene to fierce. Nonetheless, it was beautiful, a true achievement to proving one was an Uchiha, to have a fully activated Sharingan. He couldn't take his eyes off of the Sharingan while Kiyoshi formed the hand seals for the jutsu, though he would have seen nothing but a blur. Then, without breathing in so much as a normal breath, Kiyoshi blew out an enormous fireball and shot it into the sky. As it traveled higher and higher, Takeshi could have sworn he saw the fireball cut a hole in the clouds. It was amazing, and Takeshi was going to learn it from a true master.

Takeshi looked back to Kiyoshi after the fireball had passed from sight, and simply said, "Wow..." It almost took him a moment to bring himself back to earth from Lalavile, and he mentally kicked himself for looking like a fool. He quickly came back with, "Okay, so what were the hand seals for the jutsu." He couldn't help being eager about this jutsu after what Kiyoshi had showed him.

The copy-wheel eyes looked back to the boy, examining his chakra. He had just enough to use the jutsu not break. Good. The Jounin sighed, blinking. "Takeshi, allow me speak before speaking such rhetoric.", he replied. Why would the boy ask him if he knew Kiyoshi would explain in only a moment?

"Before even the hand-signs. Make sure you regulate your chakra. The Fireball is a simple jutsu in that it's simply constant yet pressured chakra blown out and combusted. As you blow, make sure you pressurize. you do not want the fireball going backward down your throat~", Kiyoshi continued, watching, not wanting to go on until the Uchiha took all the information in. "Combustion is the last step."

"So let's go to the beginning. Let's start you off by practicing the handseals, to mold the sufficient chakra. Make sure you keep your chakra regulation consistant. It needs to flow from your body later, not come in pockets.", Kiyoshi finished, his Sharingan observing the boy.

"Snake. Tiger. Monkey. Ox. Horse. Tiger.", he slowly stated, his gloved hands slowly moving with his talking. He performed the five handsigns slowly a few times, watching the boy.

Takeshi watched Kiyoshi's instructions, though he could have gone without the comment about his questioning the hand seals. So what if he was eager, he was eleven. But Takeshi quickly got over Kiyoshi's somewhat rudeness and paid careful attention to the Uchiha's instructions. "First comes the hand seals... then blowing out the pressurized chakra... then the combustion..." he etched into his mind for good memory. Takeshi didn't know the seals for the Goukakyo no Jutsu yet, so the first thing to do was learn them. Though he didn't think that he would need so much practice with them, it wouldn't hurt.

Takeshi first went over each hand seal and what it looked like. He didn't want to accidentally get a hand seal wrong and practice it six times. Once Takeshi felt confident with his memorization, he began to form each one. "Snake... Tiger... Monkey... Ox... Tiger..." he said to himself as he performed each hand seal. However, he only got to the first Tiger seal before he tripped up. These were simple hand seals, ones that he had learned before. And he couldn't even get through two. Takeshi mentally kicked himself for his insolence. He was so facinated by Kiyoshi's Sharingan that though he had taken his words to heart, Takeshi could not apply it to his hands. But Takeshi was going to succeed. He would make sure of it. Everyone thought of him as a child, and he hated it. They underestimated his determination, his hardship. He would not be held back by his age or appearance any longer. Kiyoshi was a prime example of this. Though it was not his goal to copy Kiyoshi, it was his goal to rise through the ranks and become a respected ninja. He was going to rebuild his family. The last of the Sasaki would not die with him.

Takeshi took a good long look at the palms of his hands. They were weak, feeble, still pick and soft like a child's. No one would respect him looking as weak as he did. Takeshi had endured so much hardship in his life, and yet the village not only looked down on him as an outcast, but underestimated him as a child. He would never be able to restore honor to the Sasaki family name, not until he could prove his worthiness next to the Uchiha clan. He was glad that his mother was not there to see his weakness, his shame. Takeshi would never be respected as a ninja so long as he could not get simple hand seals right.

Takeshi again took a moment to familiarize himself with the mental pictures of the required hand seals in his mind. The Serpent seal was basically clasping his hands together in a tight grip. The Tiger seal was the two front fingers of each hand coming to together pointed upwards, with the tow back fingers criss-crossed together. The Monkey was two hands, palms facing each other, with the pinkie and thumb fingers interlocking the two hands on each side. And the Ox seal was two hand, palms flat and fingers straight, coming together at a ninety degree angle with the right hand's middle and ring fingers down on the left hand, instead of pointing up.

Confident with this memorization, Takeshi tried again to complete the five hand seals. This time he hoped for success, and not to bring more shame to the Sasaki family. But again he failed, and again he failed to restore the Sasaki family honor. It was as the villagers had told him before, many times. "You're just an Uchiha knock-off. You're nowhere near the real thing." This comment echoed through Takeshi's mind every once in a while, whenever he was feeling down. And right now, when he needed support and confidence, it wasn't helping.

Takeshi was so disappointed in himself. Not once, but twice he had failed to get further than the first Tiger seal. He didn't understand why he couldn't get past the Tiger seal. It was the essential seal to every fire style jutsu, and if he couldn't get past it, he wouldn't be able to get any further with any other fire style jutsu. Takeshi thought that he had a good hold on the Tiger seal, since he had used it as a guide to forming the Ram and Rat seals back when he was working on the hand seal training.

Takeshi shook out his hands for good measure, and prepared to try again. He went over what each seal looked like and how to form it. He recited in his mind the order in which each seal was to be formed. Once he felt like he could perform the seals correctly, Takeshi proceeded to form each hand seal, one by one. He made sure to go over each seal slowly, as to increase his chances of success. Sure enough, Takeshi succeeded this time, forming each seal with careful precision. It was a bit slow, too slow if he was actually going to perform the jutsu, but for hand seal practice, it was enough. "Yes!" he exclaimed in his mind.

Takeshi was glad that he was now succeeding again with the hand seal practice. It seemed to him that all he had to do was slow down and focus on each seal as he formed it. Takeshi took a quick moment to refresh his memory on each hand seal, how it was formed, and the order in which each hand seal was formed. Takeshi took in a deep breath and tried again to get the hand seals right. "Serpent... Tiger... Monkey... Ox... Tiger..." he recited out loud this time as he formed the hand seals. Takeshi took the time to focus on each seal and pull his hands apart the appropriate distance so that they wouldn't get caught together. But despite his careful planning, Takeshi again failed to form the hand seals right, this time tripping up with the Serpent seal. He sighed, realizing that his last success must have been a fluke.

( the roll was a 2 so obvious fail )

Slowly the girl once again made the required handseals. Inch by inch she could feel the chakra flow from on end of her body to another. Aryza's breathing was heavier then normal for she was getting tired. Patiently she waited for the sensation of a successfully performed technique. the feel never came. Instead fatigue threatened her body once again. Her attempt had failed once again. It mattered not whither she failed or succeeded performing the Henge. Either way it still used up her chakra. The fact she kept on failing lately was bugging her greatly. It was irritating and frustrating. There was obviously something she was doing wrong that she was unaware of. What could it be?

Confused and tired the girl sat down. Even though she knew she had enough strength to do it again she decided to rest a bit and recover. Her wolf cub Kuroi was now up and entertaining himself chasing after butterflies. Getting up she decided to join in with his fun. Slowly she snuck up behind the black cub and went to grab him. Fortunately for him he had sensed her coming and jumped out of the way with what looked like a smile on his face. As a result Aryza ended up falling to the ground while catching nothing but pure air.

"Oh no you don't," she said as she quickly got up and chased after the little black ball of fur.

Even though her body was tired she didn't feel it. She was having to much fun that everything else seemed to just disappear. It felt good to goof off after all the hard working she had been doing.

Aryza giggled playfully as she continued chasing her wolf cub around the meadows. She would jump to catch him and he would quickly slip away. Every so often she would be able to grab him but the little thing quickly wiggled itself free. All of her worries were forgotten for the moment. Her main preoccupation now was simply having fun. She even forgot that Taiju was there and she didn't seem to care what he would be thinking about this either. Aryza was nothing more then a 9 year old child. Playing around and goofing off was in the job description. Kuroi was also just a cub.

Seeing her chance the Inuzuka girl jumped successfully catching Kuroi in her grasp. The wolf in return licked her face making her giggle. With her laughing her grasp on the cub loosed allowing him to escape. Now their game of catch me if you can began once again. It was a pity she didn't have a ball with her. That way they could be playing catch.

How much time had gone by? Aryza couldn't tell. Everything seemed to go by in such a flash. Then again when one is having fun, time seems to fly by. She couldn't help but notice that Kuroi also was having fun. He wagged his tail violently and his mouth seemed to form a smile with his tongue sticking out. Standing there he waited for the girl to pounce on him again. Or at least try.

That was exactly what Aryza did. Jumping at him she missed. The small cub had been sneaky avoiding her attempt. Once again she fell to the ground with a 'uuf'. She smiled though not minding it. For a couple more minutes they continued till both of them were laying on the grass. She was on her back while Kuroi was on her stomach licking her face. Not being able to help herself she let out another group of laughs. His tongue tickled her face with every lick.

For awhile the girl just laid there with Kuroi licking her. She smiled. The moment was so relaxing. If she could she would've liked to stay like that for a very very long time. Of course life wasn't like that though. Blinking she sat up quickly causing Kuroi to fall to the ground. Her training! She had completely forgotten about it. Standing up she brushed off some of the dirt that was on her shorts. Taking in a few deep breaths she tried focusing at the task at hand. Placing her hands in front of her she began making the seals. She made them one by one while trying to not rush through them. Once she had finished the chakra began to flow. Every thing was going fine. That was until Kuroi bounced into her shattering her concentration like glass. For a second she was angry with him but it quickly passed. Yes, she was incapable of staying made at him. Especially when he looked up at her with those puppy dog eyes of his.
