Troden laughed as he stood infront of her, "You think I just let you run around on your own? You are dumber than I thought. I know how you think, I know how you react to practically every event that comes your way, and you never understood that. I knew you'd bring Cloud in, and I know probably have someone keeping tabs on his every moment." his grin was slowly becoming wicked, "You should have saw the look on your face when you saw me holding Bell...and not you. Priceless."

He grinned as he caught the blow with his left hand, his eyes narrowing as he began to put pressure on her fist, "A god? No. No one is a god, not even the Ten Leaders who ruled this place. But they were strong, they were smart, and they had the unique ability you will never have... a will of your own." He took a step closer to her, his other hand grownig claws as he said, "You never followed your own path, which is the reason you can be so easily betrayed. I am closer to being a Leader than you will ever be. And when this war is over..." he growled deeply, "I will take my time to kill you slowly, just like all the other Bastets here!"

Suddenly Rikku kicked him stricking him in the stomache knocking him back. "I dont have a will of my own do I? Never followed my own path? Then tell me why did I choose to serve you before? Why did I choose to become the leader of the Bastets? Why did I choose to defy you and mess around with your mind? I may have liked you Troden but that was of my own free will. I chose to act all cute and innocent around you, just so to see how dumb you were, to see how easily you could fall for something like that. No Troden im not the fool here, and when it finally comes to a full out war i will not lose. Not to someone as low and pathetic as you." Rikku's voice was colder than ice her eyes never leaving Trodens.

He backed away a few feet, only to turn around to give her a roundhouse kick to the face, "You think you chose did you? Don't tell me a lie like that Rikku, I can hear it in your voice. No one is innocent, not even an unborn child, for their fate is mixed in with their parents." His eyes stayed locked on the Rikku as spoke, the tension around them was so thick that is coulod be seen.

"Troden, i never knew someone like you could sink so low. I chose to become the leader of the Bastets to defy you they wanted someone else but i fought and won that position. Your a lying son of a b***h Troden." As she said this she wiped the blood from her face and unsheathed her sword surrounding it in flames. Rikku struck at Troden cutting deep into his side, the smell of burning flesh filled the air.

Troden smirked, glancing at the blade as the fire disappeared, "Did you forget that I control fire Rikku?" he pulled the blade out as the fire that was in the blade appeared in his eyes, "You think I don't have spies inside your group? You think that my influence is only over my territory? You fool!" blood fell freely from his side as he raised his claws and slashed visciously at her stomach.

Rikku mostly dodged the attack with only a few minor claw marks left on her stomache. She hissed at Troden "You b*****d." Rikku took out her guns and shot Troden hitting his left shoulder and his left hip. "How can you say you know me. Ill bet you that you dont even know half of what im like. Ive known about your spies for a while Troden and they amuse me trying to keep hidden. To bad i dont even tell those closest to me anything important, no matter how it seems you will never be able to know the real me Troden. Your pathetic for even thinking you did in the first place. Im tired of seeing your pretty face, it doesnt suit your personality." She suddenly struckk at his face leaving deep claw marks which she knew would scar badly no matter what healing he received.

He grabbed her hand before it struck his face, he growled as he pushed her away from him, "I am glad you learned something from me all those years. And don't get me wrong, even I cannot figure everyone out comepletely, but I don't care about you enough to even try. Tell me when your temper tantrum is over and then I'll fight you like a real warrior." he raised his hands once again, sending the very fire from her sword straight towards her face.

As she was walking away Rikku laughed. "My affections, huh? You must really be naive if you think you were the only one i ever liked or cared for." Rikku walked away in one of the best moods she had been in, in a very long time.
