Genesis Nodded sweetly and swished her tail. She blinked a couple of times and began to head back to the camp... " Hey Zagi.." She flushed a bright pink, " Would you do anything for.. I mean Like.. Anything" She said waiting for a " No" Or a laugh. Her ears flatened against her head, Regreting she even said it.

Zagi was expecting such a question, just hearing that question made his face flush, he stared at her for a moment, even he could see that she was a little hesitant at saying it. "Y-yes. of course. I mean, I know we just met and all but-" his tone was fast, nervous like he was searchign for more words...he couldn't think of more though and left it, leaning forward licking her quickly on the cheek. "yes." his voice got softer, stronger.
"Hmph" Kagu couldn't think of any comebacks to say to him and honestly she did actually want the food, it would be more effort to go out and get even sweatier to catch her own, but she wasn't about to thank him either... thanking a stray... she couldn't... but it seemed harsh not to as well. conflicted she opened her mouth so say the words, but held back and stripped the rabbit of its fur easily and bit into it. the canteen next to her leg was cool, contrasting with the hot sun she brought it up and sat it on her chest to cool herself down a bit, though it did drip a bit onto her fur. yuck

Leogun watched her for a second and then looked up at the sun"you really should relax...your pride gets in your way and it conflicts how you react to things"he said bluntly and then looked back at her and then pulled his own canteen and poured some on his head

"dont tell me how to act" she stated, she sounded aggrivated. but he was right on the mark, how could he see through her so easily? she used to be one of the best spies in the pack, was she losing her touch? looking down at the canteen she brought it up and drank from it slowly only her eyes turned to look at Leogun sitting by the tree, annoyance . After a few minutes, she got up. she had recovered for the most part, she had been able to eat most of the rabbit so left the rest randomly on the ground. "lets go climb a mountain then" she groaned obviously not looking forward to it. "I expect to be carried." it was sarcasm again, the same joke. lame. trying to be fiendly with him wasn't really a conscious act though

Leogun looked at her and smirked"ok...you asked for it"he said as he scooped her up on to his back and started quickly scaling the mountain, going up some parts others would think suicidal

She chuckled as they arrived at camp. She was a little tired as she walked over to her tree. She layed down and curled up into a ball and watched the other strays.

a few moments of protests to put her down against his sudden lift she shut herself down into stillness, clinging on once he was higher up not daring to move incase he she drop her "sh-sh- what the hell, go up a decent path at least!" she blurted out, it sounded like it was suppose to be agrresively loud instead it came out kind of shaky as she felt leogun step up some shaky looking rocks "if I die I'm gonna kill you"
Zagi walked over with her and layed down next to her, there was no reaction from his answer. what did that mean?
the strays all watched the two arrive back and could immediately smell the human blood "Genesis, you killed a human?" one asked her having stepped up to get a closer smell as to which one of them did it. "they are vengous creatures" he said, speaking as though to the whole group. Zagi didn't really have any idea what they were on about though, they knew these humans as well? wow, he felt out of the loop.
"once they find out it was a wolf they wont hesitate you know, you killed it close by as well, idiot." the strays were a little adgitated, and angry.

Leogun jumped to a alrge led that built intot a cave and set her down in front o it"you can sleep in there...ill be out here keeping guard"he said as he went and stood neirth the ledge looking out over the horizon as the sun slowly set casting an orange hue

"staying up all night is part of your job?" she asked stepping inside, "fine, wouldn't want you in here with me anyway" she sat down I do really... what? no, you didn't just think that. Kagu lay her head down on the ground, it was hard and cold but guessed it was better than sleeping on stinging nettles or something. moments passed and she was coiling around uncomfortably but was getting used to it. "Oi, Leogun" she called to him, not knowing if she was loud enough for him to hear though. "get in here, I dont think anything scary will come get us way up here, even if you are scared of the dark." she was joking, expecting him to get a little peeved.

Leogun looked at her and shook his head"i dont sleep...i havent slept for awhile now..."he said as he walked over and sat by the rim of the cave"you look cold Kagu...i got a blanket in the travel bag i you want it"he said as he ent a pulled a large thick rolled up comforter and snapped it out and then pulled it over her"there...role up in that...itll keep you o the ground and keep you warm"he said as he sat against the wall that was but a few feet from her

what the hell, he's being nice but it seems a bit forced, did dad set him up to do that? ugh, I'll kill 'im when I get back. she keeled back a bit as he covered her with something soft. "I didn't know you were so well prepared, Leogun" it was a sarcastic tone. "musta turned into a granny" she sat down pulling the material underneath her to stop from the cold, hard ground and layed her head down properly "so why dont you sleep then? that would be tiresome." she thought she'd try a serious question for a change. "just cant?"

Leogun looked at her for a moment and then sighed"because everytime i close my eyes to sleep the visions and screams of my clan plague my mind...invade my dreams and wake me up regardless...its not that i cant sleep i just refuse to...not much i can do about it"he said as he looked back up at the cave ceiling

jeez, wish I hadn't asked... "thats some serious will power you got, I would have fallen asleep even if i didnt' want to." she said, just thinking about it seemed impossible. "so what about if I slammed a rock into your head to knock you out, would you sleep then?" she had a put on menacing look but she wasn't serious.

she thought about that for a moment, "meh, not really" she spoke quietly, tired she fell asleep quickly.
~~morning~~
birds were chirping and there was a heavy wind hitting the mountain, it was starting to rain. Kagu woke up, smelling the rain instantly. "what the hell? it hardly ever rains, why now!" said looking to the opening of the cave.
