Devil Jinn So, who is going to have all the characters at about 7 on Sunday morning after they get brawl? I know I will. It's going to take me a little longer than that. I know that I'll have a good amount unlocked by the time I have to go to sleep on sunday though. Since I realized you only need to meet one of the three requirements and then beat the character...I don't think it will take me too long.

Probably most by then. I plan on unlocking all or almost all outside of the SSE before I go play the SSE. I also need to confirm on which characters I plan on maining.

Right now I'm compiling a list of how to get the characters quickly. Please add on.
Ness-Play with Fox and Fox on a one stock match reflect ten shots then suicide.
Ganondorf-When you first get the game play Classic on Hard with Link or Zelda. No Coins, nothing to lose by continuing.
Captain Falcon-If you can beat Classic Mode on Normal in 12 min. ,thats great for you. If that sounds like to much, play suicide one stock matches 70 times.
Snake-Play 12 quick matches on Shadow Moses.
Sonic-Play classic on very easy with 10 different characters.
G&W-While SSE would be the quickest method if you can manage to get all the other characters quickly you can do the very easy classic method. Keep track of the characters you've already finished classic with.
Marth-10 quick suicide matches.
Jigglypuff-Reach and complete event match 20. Hopefully this will be quick and easy.
Lucario-Play 5 different target tests.
Wolf-Play boss mode on very easy with fox.
Falco-50 suicide matches or Spam Link's B+up on 100 multi-man melee.
ROB-Chose SSE or 120 suicide matches. Both will take considerable time unless you've been doing suicide matches for the rest of the characters.
Toon Link-Beat SSE and go back to the forest field where you get link and find a door that leads to Toon Link or beat classic after beating SSE.
Luigi-22 suicide matches or classic very easy. No continues
This is what I think would be the quickest ways to get the characters. If you know better ways or can improve these just say something.

Beat classic with Link = Toon Link
Beat classic on any difficulty = Marth
Beat classic with no continues = Luigi
100 Man Brawl = Falco
Beat classic in 20 mins = C. Falcon
Those are probably just the very easy ones.
I can list more if needed.

Uh..yeah...That's pretty awesome. I can't wait. It's getting closer....and closer...plus March 9=My birthday...so it's going to be even better. I really think I'm going to main or sub as Marth. I never really liked him until I played some matches as him. Then I started kicking some butt. which make me like him a lot.

Different special moves.
Anyways, Im supposed to be in a tourney from sat @ 8 till midnite. Im gettin brawl as soon as i can man. I CANT WAIT!||

Freaky, My friends birthday is on March 9th too. Hey, Marth sounds like March! I know what you mean. I thought Roy was the best, but eventually I got better than I was with Roy at Link. I hope Link has a bit more jump and weight or recovery is going to be hard with him in brawl because now you can only tether to ledges.

I can't wait to play as wolf. He looks so much better than fox and falco.
I never really liked both of them, but wolf it much slower (thank god) and more powerful. :3

Like March with a lisp. Hey, thanks for posting the unlocking strategies. I've been waiting for Toon Link, since my favorite GC game, besides Melee, is WindWaker. It's also my favorite Zelda game. Now it shouldn't take me that long to get them all.
