Akemi returned to the academy holding the book that he had read yesterday. "Time to learn a jutsu." He was already sick of this academy bullshit and wanted to become a genin so that he could do missions and get some ryu for his sword. Or at least get his clan to give him one. Akemi sat the book down on a log and began to read. "Henge no Jutsu, the transformation technique. This jutsu require only a single hand sign and can be used with either the tiger or the sheep hand signs. While using focus your chakra throughout your body and try to take on the appearance of another."

(((Reversing roll order for my own purposes, doesn't effect anything.)))

(9+2=Pass)
Akemi focused his chakra around himself and made the ram sign, placing his index and middle fingers together and then putting his remaining left fingers over his remaining right ones. He focused his chakra and suddenly his face gave off a poof of smoke and he looked like Mizuiro. Not a huge change, but it was a small start. He tried to say something in Mizuiro's voice, but the jutsu faded.

(4+2=Fail)
Akemi gave it another shot, but he was to hungry to focus. He was pretty tired too. Akemi decided to eat a portion of his lunch.

[Resting post to recharge CP]

Akemi sat down and removed his messenger bag. He rummaged through it a little before removing a large sandwich from the bottom. The sandwich was a simple thing, comprised of wheat, submarine style, bread lightly sprinkled with oregano and parmesan, the meat was tuna, an entire tuna. It had been descaled, cut in half, and had the bones removed, but it was an entire tunafish, and it overlapped the bun by a large margin. Atop the fish was lettuce, spinach, and a few spicy peppers, as well as some curry powder and bean curd. Okay, so it wasn't simple, and to the normal human it would be disgusting, but to Akemi it was a delicious treat that would keep him full and refuel him for more training. A different challenge lie ahead first though, removing the paper that was wrapping the sandwich without letting the creation fall apart. Akemi attempted to remove it, but felt the sandwich begin to sag. He decided that it would be best to not remove the paper and to simply fold it down as he ate.

[CP recovery post #2]
The paper was soggy and the sandwich reeked of old fish and bean curd. Delicious. Akemi began to open wide as he prepared for the first bite, rolling back the paper with his thumbs and licking his lips. The sandwich drew closer and closer like a slow motion movie until it entered the void that was Akemi's mouth and Akemi bit down, his many rows of teeth first sank into the moist bread, then through the bean curd which had a thick, creamy texture and a rich taste that filled his mouth. The fire of the curry powder filled Akemi's mouth next, then the leafy spinach and lettuce, and finally the gush of blood and water as Akemi's teeth met at the raw tuna center. One bite down, about thirty to go. The heavenly good sandwich brought a tear into Akemi's eye, not from the curry powder, and not from the odd mixture of things on his sandwich, but from the sheer deliciousness that filled his mouth as he bit down. Akemi placed the sandwich on his lap and began to chew it slowly, nearly orgasmic with every meeting of the teeth.

Akemi swallowed and decided that he was going to try and do the jutsu again, but just as he started to focus he was craving another bite of his sandwich, so he returned to eat some more of it, and hopefully get it off of his mind.

[Recovery post 1]
Akemi began to wolf down another bite of the sandwich, the heavenly taste filled his mouth with joy and happiness, like rainbow colored panda bears frolicking through the meadow together. "Hmmmmmmm." As Akemi continued to eat more and more of the sandwich he decided that it would be best to just return home and rest after each try from now on. These jutsu things took a lot out of him.

Akemi began to reach the end of his sandwich, he did not realize it until he bit his own hand though. He waved it off and tried the justsu again. Akemi slowly brought his hands back into the position of the ram and focused. "Henge no Jutsu!" A puff of smoke and, not only did he look like Mizuiro, he had created a headband around his neck. "Sw-" The jutsu faded ... Akemi decided to head back to the clanhouse for an afternoon nap.

Valken had been presumptuous in his ability to concentrate on running whilst letting his mind drift and paid the price accordingly. He stumbled over a loose rock and fell to the ground. His clothing protected against any blood from being drawn, but the tight weave of his jacket was now frayed and some of the seams had split.

"Well this has just gone from dreary to insufferable. I would be inclined to end this were I not forced to get good at this. . . "

He sighed and started to pick up his pace again, growing bitter from all the circumstances being imposed unto him. His leg was now soft from the fall and he feared he may develop a bruise there. Valken knew that injury was bound to happen along every step of the way, but he still lamented it greatly. His only option was to do better so as to avoid further regrets as long as possible.

As soon as Valken picked himself up and continued did he fall back down again. His jacket was further shredded at the elbows and his demeanor shifted from bitter to near-enraged. Once more did Valken pick himself up now cursing,

"This stupid waste of time is horrid and vulgar . ..and. . . stupid . . .and I hate it!"

Valken was essentially now at the point of throwing a tantrum and it was best for his ego there were none nearby to witness it. The outburst was merely cathartic venting as he knew he was not allowed to quit, so he hesitantly resumed his run. Starting off at a jog, he slowly increased his speed to ease into it until he was close to his previous pace of quick darting around the academy.

This time as Valkens gait picked up, he began to trip again. Loose debris was fairly hazardous. To be fair though, it was something he would have to trudge through as ninja move through truly hazardous terrain and at greater speeds on missions. This was just something he would have to get used to for the time being. Frankly he felt like a small child doing this exercise. What seemed difficult and intense to him looked like literal childsplay to others. No matter, he would just have to achieve the skill necessary to not be looked down on. Recovering from being thrown off balance, he resumed the starting position and made another dash, trying desperately to get the hang of a basic skill on his road to ninja profession.

Finally Valken was making progress again. He was moving faster and faster, getting into the groove that made him flow naturally rather than run. This all was of course on a small scale of success as his legs were hardly trained to make great strides at lightning speeds, but he noticed the slightest improvements. This was of course contrasted by the slight-yet-growing pain in his side. He could not run forever and would have have to stop eventually, but he would go until his body forced him to. Valken had the capacity to be incredibly diligent, he just rarely cared enough to push himself when indulging in his more serene lifestyle suited him better. So being in a position where he was forced to profess, the diligence came outward and would hopefully benefit Valken long enough for him to finish. There was only one way to find out and that was to see how long he would continue to go for. Would his body or his mind quit first? Pushing him off the ground continually as fast as he could, he was certain he would soon discover the answer.

Valken's results were pleasing. He was able to continue moving swiftly, perhaps even faster over time. His breathing did grow slightly erratic, but to no degree that worried Valken. Just because he was doing well now, his tiring body made it certain that he was always susceptible to a slip up at virtually any moment. His best compensation was to stay conscious of his actions constantly. He looked at he moving ground beneath him, how it seemed to whiz by, although that was a matter of perception and relativity that appears at most speeds. Still, the illusion of speed was enthralling enough. It was not that Valken had no imagination. He did and he had imagined superhuman abilities and admired them when he was younger. Looking at the ground moving beneath him conjured those childhood feelings back and brought Valken some amount of pleasure.

Akemi returned after a few hours of napping and tried the jutsu a few more times. This time he did the Ram symbol and said, "Henge no jutsu!" This time he tried to mimic that dumbass genin kid. The image was complete, but somewhat deformed due to the image Akemi had in his head of the genin. This time when he tried to speak he managed to get out a, "Derrrr Retar-" then the jutsu faded away before he could finish, "ded ... ******** did it again, focusing a little harder and once again he did Mizuiro, who's appearance he knew that he could not ******** up on. He did the rama symbol and said, "Henge no jutsu!" He became the spitting image of the smaller, more violent, Hoshigaki clan member and said, "Derrrr gimme a shuriken Akemi, I need one so I can stab myself in the eye with it and make the itching go away derrrrrr." His concentration broke as he laughed at his joke and the jutsu faded ... so that meant that he needed to be 100% dedicated to mimicking the victim. Akemi decide to give it one more go.

Akemi's new goal was not mockery, it was time. This time he would try to hold it for as long as possible. Determined by his success today Akemi formed the Ram symbol and said, "Henge no jutsu!" Then when he assumed Mizuiro's form he counted, "one...two...three...four...five...six...seven...eight...nine...te-" the jutsu faded." He had held it longer the previous time, maybe he needed to rest for the night. He was pretty tired anyways, so Akemi packed up his belongings and headed back to the clan house for another long nap, hoping that the rested body and rested mind would give him better results, for now he would set the goal to forty seconds by tomorrows end.

Akemi was sick the next morning, he tried to perform the jutsu in his bed, but the very action in itself made him vomit until he passed out.

(((Posting here, but roleplaying him as being at home still.)))

When Akemi awoke the next day he still felt very ill, but nonetheless he decided that he still needed to train though, or at lest attempt to. He crawled out of his bed and moved his trash can over, then tugged on his pajama top and steadied himself. His eyes were heavy and his stomach turned as his hands shakily formed the ram sign and he said, "Henge no ..." His stomach churned as he began to belch and he stopped for a moment before trying again. "Henge no ju--- blaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggg." Akemi quickly grabbed the trash can and a river of vomit flowed from his mouth. He moaned a little before crawling back into his bed and pulling the covers over himself. Tomorrow would be another day.

Despite his sickness Akemi refused to stay down. He got out of bed once more and ran down to the kitchen. Spying his mother in the corner he smiled as he placed his hands into the ram sign and said, "Henge no jutsu." His form became that of his mother and he walked around the corner and said, "Oh deary me gosh golly gosh I hope that my little boy is okay." He spoke in his own voice, not his mothers and as she turned she began to laugh. Successful jutsu, finally, maybe he was starting to get over this sickness.

He was about to transform into the Mizukage when he felt a sudden stiffness press into his back as his fathers arms wrapped around him and rough scales brushed against his shoulder. Akemi's eyes widened in horror as the just vanished in a poof of smoke. Akemi's dad stepped back and looked at his son before seeing his own wife in the kitchen and running to the door to vomit. Akemi turned and ran back up to his room and vomited in the bucket beside his bed again before crawling back into bed again. He would have nightmares tonight.
