It was Hata that saved us. She betrayed Mastema in plain view and managed to shut the barrier down... it's because of her sacrifice that we made it out. You were right... the whole thing was a trap. Mastema still has the green rose and Thanatos as well....

Moku walks in stretching, heading for the kitchen, "La de daaaa... Maybe I should consider staying here at the BC... instead of walking home everynight..." she continues to talk to herself while fixing up a bowl of cereal.

Irvine stood atop the B.C. roof, bandages wrapped around him in various places. There were many bandages around his ribs. Bandages up and down his arms. A band-aid on his cheek. His forehead was even wrapped all the way around. Loose bandages blew in the slight breeze the wind was creating as Irvine stared off at the setting sun. His face was expressionless and he stared at the sun. His silver eyes were devoid of any kind of emotion. It was as if he wasn't....wasn't....human. And the sad truth was he wasn't. He wasn't flesh and blood like everyone else. True he did HAVE flesh and blood, but he was not human. He was dead. Dead to the ones he called friends. Dead to the world. Dead to himself. He was nothing.
