I was just walking down the road after picking up some supplies for my sisters herbal garden when I noticed a boy, just standing, minding his own business, on the side of the road. It seemed that he was leaning against the wall, but his folded arms told me he was thinking. I walked over to him.
"Hi, are you alright?" I ask politely.

I looked at a girl who had just spoken to me. I thought about just ignoring her for a moment. I looked at her. Then I nodded.
"Yes," I replied. My monotone voice coming in handy.

"Why don't you?" I ask. Then I look at her, she was standing kind of oddly, just moving her foot over the ground in front of her, "Forget I asked." I stood up and began to walk away down the road.

I almost gasped as he just pushed himself off the wall and began walking down the road. I ran to catch up with him.
"So, what's your name?" I ask.

"My name's Miriam. It's nice to meet you," Why did he have to be so damn quiet? I notice that the conversation wouldn't be very eventful from then on, so I walk with him quietly for a few streets, "I'll see you around then." I smile and run down the road.
