Angelbe2232 Ahhh, my dear fellow flutists.We are all a burden, to dare say.We are rarely heard over the obnoxious tuba or the beastly baritone.Call me Halo.To which my real name, you shalt never know. yes, that is quite true, but typically it is with trumpet players for me. but i can play louder than maybe two or three of the crappy players.

Low brass/Low Woodwinds are no prob, but I agree about the trumpets.

MHHornfreak I'm not a great flute player because i mainly play sax but i had to share this! Sorry if you've already seen it but this guy is amazing i went to highschool with him and havent seen in in years and i found this and it blew me away! ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crfrKqFp0ZgHaha! That flute has to be getting mighteh spittehhhh!! xDDD That's funny... I wouldn't mind learning how to do that. At first, I was like...what's the big deal? And then I caught on with the rapping. xD *pets her not-so-special flute* I've been thinking about buying one of those special flutes with the holes in the keys that have the extra low B foot or whatever it is. Basically everyone else at Districts had one. *hugs her flute* I'm just rather fond of this one. ^_^;

Yesh. But that's why some people want them; just because they're a challenge. I'd think more seriously on it if I weren't trying to learn a million other instruments to become a music major. X_X

I have the flute with the open holes and low B-flat foot.
My mom bought it to make sure I never thought about dropping out of band. "You'll pay back every cent if you drop out..."
Those were awful times. x_x

I was going to go last year, but I was only in 6th grade. I told my mom about it, and they had a shcedule of a typical day, and she looked at it and was like "You want to go to this??" lolz. I just nodded and she was like "well, if you really want to." I told all my friends and they were just like "You are such a nerd. rolleyes "
