As he ended his first success he felt a sharp pain in his joints. He fell to the ground in pain, feeling his bones grinding against each other. Maybe his revelation wasn't as immaculate as he first thought. His idea was to use his knowledge of anatomy to inject the nitrogen bubbles in his joints with his own chakra, freeing his movement allowing him to go faster. But there was a draw back. When he no longer fueled his joints with chakra, there was a brief moment where they deflated immensely creating severe pain. "Still... a pain..." he said in a groan.

He clung his arms around his body as he laid upon the ground. That was quite stupid of him. The pain was currently subsiding in him, but it was still excruciatingly painful. 'This isn't necessarily a failure...' the voice said, commenting on his current predicament. 'I think you just overdid it on the charka.' the voice had a point. he had already amassed quite a bit of chakra from his previous theory, maybe he just put to much in. It was a theory, but then again this could just be a failure awaiting Karnage to preform it again and return to his current position.

Karange got up from his painful endeavor. He moved his joints briefly, wincing in the sharp spikes of pain that came and went. He moved his legs around trying to ease the pressure from his last attempt. He focused his chakra around his chest. He breathed out, and in that breathe he moved the energy through his body and exerted it in a second to propel himself. But, to no avail. "Maybe that wasn't such a bad idea..." he said with a sigh.

He had exerted himself but to no avail. His speed had not increased even the slightest, in fact from the use of his chakra he was getting more and more tired after each attempt. It was counterproductive, which pissed Karnage off to a certain point. 'You know, I was being nice before. I was serious when I said you had a good idea. Try it again.' the voice said in a perturbed tone. Karange ignored the blabbering psychopath. He focused his chakra into his center, and with a steep breathe outward released it throughout his body. Into his muscles he could feel the chakra flowing, and in a dash he tried to use it. But again to no result. "Damn..."

Karnage felt his body growing heavier. He was losing too much energy from this exercise. 'Conserve and fail. Expend and fail. It all ends at the same place doesn't it. Aaaanny time now you could listen to me...' the voice said impatiently. 'Seriously, I'm over 500 years old. I've seen wars end sooner than this. It's insulting to the name of shinobi, that's what this is...' the voice continued but Karnage honed his mind to silence him. it was annoying enough not getting this but to deal with him was agony incarnate. He sighed, and summoned his chakra again. In another fluidly beautiful waste he futilely tried to accelerate. "So... very... annoying..."

He let his arms hang at his side. The voice was reaching a breaking point. At this particular breaking point, he felt the utter compulsion to sing. Why sing? Because nothing annoyed Karnage more than repetitive, mindless, singing in his head. 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves/ Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe...' the voice sang with great tenacity. "Shut up..." Karnage said, trying to concentrate on his training. '"Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun/ The frumious Bandersnatch!" ' Karnage let loose the charka he had been collecting in a single explosion that caused a momentary burst of speed, but nothing to be accomplished about. "Will you shut up?!"

'You know what? Screw it.' the voice said, fed up with the treatment of his sage advise. Karnage could feel his body slowly being possessed. His stamina was low, there was no way to combat the invasion of his psyche. He growled fiercely as his vision started to fade, "I'll kill you you god damn arthropodic a*****e!" he cursed. But it was futile. The voice had claimed his body. He watched helplessly as his charka was collected by another soul. "Shunshin!" he heard his voice say. Then, in a flash his body moved across a clear 3 yards in an instance. 'I hate you, you know that?'

Shadow teleported to one rock, and jumped off it to the other, and doing this same process again. However as he jumped to avoid the collision, his left foot didn't make it, getting crushed as the rocks slammed together. He let out a yell as he fell on his knee on the rock. Sweat beat down his forehead as he put his hands down to pry out. He did this just in time, and jumped off less than a second before it hit the ground. He jumped off the walls towards the rocks yet again with extreme speeds. He was limping a little bit however he kept moving, not letting it slow him down to much. For some reason speed just seemed the key to life and everything. If there was only some way to move so fast that you could be multiple places at once... Then he would be able to protect everyone. He was put behind after the last hit however he was getting close to the danger already. He jumped off the wall towards the rocks once again focusing chakra so he could move at quick enough speeds to dodge the rocks.

Shadow once again used Shunshin, however he tried to only narrowly dodge the rocks, and unfortunately he made his work room a little bit to narrow and he accidentally crashed into the rock. With his momentum he still flew up with high speeds, and accidentally slammed into yet another rock. He growled as he quickly ran and did a flip off the rock and continued his flight upward to meet the rocks. He was a little beaten up and bruised, he was pretty sure that his crushed leg was bleeding, however it wasn't broken, though it was definitely sprained. He didn't care though, he had set his mind to this so he wasn't going to stop. He grabbed the ninja-to on his back as he looked dead onto the rocks coming at him. Once again he focused his chakra so he could move at even higher speeds. He was getting to the point where he could start to feel it in his leg muscles. He didn't care though, this just kept him going even more. It was an odd feeling, getting excited over the feeling of pain.

Shadow slammed his ninja-to into the rock and used it to propel him to the other side, however he used shunshin to accelerate his speed. Because of this he over propelled himself into another rock. He bounced in a rag doll like fashion. He twisted in mid air to do a little twist, and he kicked upwards again. Just because he was starting to feel this burn, didn't mean he was running out of energy. He still has a lot of fight and energy left in him yet. He wasn't sure why he didn't choose more tender exercises on his body, maybe it was because that he believed that the only way to become stronger was through pain. He grinned as time seemed to slow down. He smiled at the fact of him becoming stronger and stronger as time went on. He knew the reason he did it, it was so others wouldn't have to. The rocks started to get close yet again and he grabbed his ninja-to again so he could hopefully do the whole propelling idea again.

This time Shadow was able to pursue his choice of action. He swung around the rock, teleported in mid air and jumped off another rock, however he accidentally tripped and rolled on the rock. He put one hand down and then vaulted upwards some more. At the top of the rock he gently set his feet down and then jumped up towards the other falling rocks. He was moving almost like a rocket to the top of the canyon, there were only a few rocks left before he would have to create another slide. However he felt like he was trashing the bottom of the canyon. That didn't matter right now, all that mattered was his training right now. Once again he began to daydream about his speed and abilities. He couldn't stop, to him he had to push on and become stronger, he had to become as fast as he could, if he could move out of harm he could get others out of harms way. And that was his goal, to protect everyone, no one deserved to die. And his goal would be to ensure that, to protect everyone.

Finally Shadow had gotten into the swing of things. As the rock fell to slam him he put a hand on the rock, as he started to flip up he disappeared and reappeared up on top of the rock. Two more started crumbling down on top of the rock he was standing. Shadow acted quickly as he could and did a Shunshin wall jump out of the distance of the rocks. He was now floating up in the air, seeming to float for a little while looking down. He then went into a straight down dive in order to gain as much speed as possible. Now his new goal was to beat the few rocks that hadn't hit the ground yet to the ground. As he started to gain a high amount of momentum he clapped his hands together so he could use Shunshin to increase his falling speed even more. At this point he could see the falling rocks rapidly coming towards him. He knew that the only way to get out of this was using precise movements combined with his ever so flashy acrobatics. Two things that were very important to Shadow. He needed the speed to execute his actions quickly, and he needed the flash to pull it off.

Aribeth came walking to the unfamiliar waste that was and is still being used by many nins for practice. Her thoughts that this would be uneventful and boring to her and Fufu were quickly stumped out as one kid, which seemed like a down play of his looks and age, was leaping from one spot to another quicker then her eyes could keep up with. Whispering to her companion as he was clutched to her chest ''I like him Mr. Fufu.'' Her childish voice muffled by the linen pattern on the back of his head. No reply came from the cotton filled friend as of right now, he must have been deep in thought or just completely mesmerized by the swiftness that was in front of them.
After a few quick seconds of watching the boy Fufu finally spoke He is quiet entrancing, Little One his voice was quiet timid as he was slightly frightened by the man who was even faster then any other rabbit he has ever encountered. Covering her blood filled cheeks and kiddish smile, she stood there watching his every move waiting to see what he'll do next.

Shadow sped through the rocks and got bumped on the shoulder going down. He let out a large oof sound however he kept his constant flight going. As he got near the ground he did a flip like thing and landed dramatically as the last few rocks crashed into the ground. He stood up straight and looked at the child who had walked by. She was obviously an academy brat, however something about her seemed familiar. He looked over at her with a curious look, she seemed interested in the manner of his training. He looked her for a few strange moments, he got kind of tired of the awkward silence so he decided to break the silence.
Er, interested in anything? I guess you should actually be in school, but i guess i can try and teach you something...

Staring back at the boy with a half hidden smile as her words got caught in her throat. She tried to speak at first, but nothing seemed to work, so she just stood there quietly making the situation that much more awkward for her. 'Well say something you imbecile' her long eared associate said to her. Still looking into his deep eyes that reminded her of something to sip and freashen her dry throat.
''I'm not enrolled... I don't think.'' she finally spoke just loud enough for him to hear her, even Fufu had a hard time understanding her. She was interested in learning things, that were useful. But almost everything has it's use.
