Yet, still there was nothing. NO movements, no attacks .....no nothing as the water was allowed to simply lapping at the shores. Still quiet ...still horribly ...horribly quiet.
This was the situation that they both seemed to have found themselves in as the darkness of this place seemed to have receded a bit. Or maybe, they simply haven't gotten far enough into the place to actually meet it.(3/10)

The trip was becoming a very silent and repetitive motion for the pair, without many words between them, and with only the noises of their steps across, from one rock to another, it seemed to echo away into the mists.
Jasmine was fixed on her footing, but Claudandas it seemed had other matters in mind as he looked upon the waters, pausing for just a second to look at the water.For them, it had been months since when last they had passed through here, when in reality, it was only perhaps a day later.
What chance was there the Tympole family still roamed remembering them, or others who may have seen the conflict on the inner ring that lead them to Spiritomb's island as it did now?
He couldn't help but wonder of course, as the pair continued onward.

((Lol, since I have time, I'll keep going onward))
"Everything okay up there, Claudandas?" Jasmine had asked aloud as she saw him looking into the water.
The cat simply raised his head and shook side to side, but did not leap on this time, instead awaiting her, as the girl would sigh...
"There's a larger rock up ahead," she nodded to one almost plateua sized slab of unknown rock before them, "I say we take a break and rest there a little, gather everyone out and see what next, sound like a plan?"
The cat looked at the rock, he didn't like the idea of stopping out in the open... but for them to attack their target, they needed to be more organised than to be pushed open straight into battle again.
He nodded, reluctant as he was, as he looked at Jasmine's body, the braced and padded legs, the arm in its cast, and the yards and yards of bandages that covered the rest... she had improved a lot since they had began, but he had no doubts she still had limits as she was.
Limits he didn't wat to push, as he headed for the rock as heir halfway point...

So they'd reach the rock without incident, and Jasmine seated herself down, this was not as much smooth, as a crag of rock sitting like a pool in itself, and as Jasmine sat back against a rock, she took her cloak, unfurled it and rolled it onto her lap, before undoing her sling and laying the casted arm down, clenching and unclenching fingers, seething as she tried to straighten her legs as well.
"Tell you one thing... the Professor's going to be pretty mad to see me, if she didn't like me on braces before... she's certainly not going to like seeing me like this again."
Claudandas came up and settled just aside her hips, not commenting, but knowing she was right, he would at least hope they could push the thought away for now.
Jasmine broke a cookie out of supplies they'd taken, offering a small chunk from that good hand down to the feline, but keeping the rest ready, she laughed, "I guess we'd better let the others out to talk, huh?"

Tyson watched as the Solrock got closer and closer to him. He knew he had to fight and he also knew that he had been using Deino to much, and decided to use one of his new Pokemon now. He reached in his back pocket and grabbed a poke'ball and threw it in front of him. Out popped his Growlithe and immediately taking a defensive stance.

The small group would find themselves halted finally as a Skorupi would move upon the rocks. Eyes and pincers locked on the cat .....as she waved her tail from side to side. This was her land, and she wouldn't allow them easy access to more ....as she moved to the center of that piece of soil.
Unlike some of the other places, where the land mass had smaller islands to the side ...if Jasmine plan to proceed she would have to go through this pokemon. FOr there was no other way then forward ....as the Skorupi clicked her pincers and waited for an answer.
For there was always back .....and she wouldn't stop them from going backwards.

The Solrock wasted no time ...when its opponent appeared as it gave off rays of light that seem to sparkle like a rainbow. Each ray turn and twisting on the land ...and as a few would fall upon the Growlithe something would become quite plain ....these rays were meant to confuse. To take what one knew and twist it and turn it until it was completely unrecognizable ......as the Solrock only smiled at its own efforts as it used confusion.

The move hit as Growlithe went down hard. Tyson called back his pokemon, and looked around and what he should try to do next. He wanted to leave, now, but didnt know how. He then went in his back pocket and pulled out another pokeball and threw it and out came his Swinub.

That was one down and a second one to go ....as the Solrock just hovered over it's own victory. It had taken the Growlithe in a single strike and as it looked at the Swinub it saw no reason why it wouldn't be the same with this one ....as it hunkers down in the defensive then. Afterall it had already attacked as it waited to see what the Swinub would do.

(19 - 5 + 11 - 15 = 10/2 = 5dmg + flinch)
Once more she was caught by the attack....though this time the bite would go through to the flesh of her. She would scream out in pain as she open her wings wide and gave a quick downwards flap. The wind would scream after her ...an Ominous wind that threaten to tear the Skorupi loose ...if she hadn't flinched. Her entire body going stiff as she would hear the scream die away and she would be forced back to ground.

Biting had worked once, and the Skorupi was determined that it would work again....as he came back towards the earth with the Skarmory. The sight of the ground coming up fast and the fear of being crushed made him close his pincers tighter on the bird's leg as it's tail would come up ...to try and stab into the un-protective underside of that leg. IF he could cause pain maybe it would change the way the bird landed.
He never even noticed the oddity of the wind or the fact that it actually died away.

Though she would land with enough force to free herself as her wings were held outwards. As her head dropped and she would rocket forward to try and punish the bug that had made her hurt ...as the winds at her back would call for his blood as well.
Their scream ...more than loud enough to make people back away ...as they crashed on either side of her ....towards him. That Ominous wind ...that would force the bug upon the ground and leave him open to becoming a tasty meal.

It would appear that things were as they were meant to be ....as the Skorupi would managed to untangle himself before the fall. Rolling a bit away he would come up with his pincers raised in defense. The flow of battle was starting again as he hunkers down and awaits her attack ...it would seem this was a one trick skarmory as the winds would suddenly start to howl around him.
He knew what was coming next and was prepared.

Jasmine looked at the Skorupi as if it were the first pokémon she had seen in months, she saw the signs, the tail, the claws, and as she'd look, Claudandas would follow her gaze.
But he was careful, he didn't raise hackles, not yet.
He waited, and would wait, as Jasmine spoke first.
"We don't lay claim to your territory, we're on our way to find the Spirit that lurks upon the island's center."
"You can ask us to leave and we shall once we've recuperated... but allow us to stay long enough to recover, and we will help you keep watch if you wish."
"Is there much to fear from a girl like me, especially one who is seeking an audience with the soul stealer who may very well be killed in the time you would otherwise have to spend fighting us?"
Diplomacy, it wasn't much, she couldn't help it if it didn't like humans... but then again, it wasn't attacking, it was just protecting the rock here...

Molly childish expression died down a bit, as she took in this poemon seriousness. "Pursuit! Mind the needles, Kage!" she commanded. Dark energy surrounded her Snivy, as Kage dashed towards the Cacnea, and, attemping, to dodge most of needles.
