Layna ignored many of the others who had come into the park. She sighed and stood up, her body was tired, but her eyes were excited, anxious. She pushed her hair back, sighing. She didn't mind the fact that she was alone, in fact, sometimes she reveled in it. It was cool in the park, despite the summer air. She had argued not to sleep, and now sleep eluded her completely. She laughed and walked down the path, deep in thought. She picked up the dropped headphones, brushing them off, before dangling them around her neck. She flicked through songs, and picked one that she had memorized long ago. When we wore a heart of stone we wandered to the sea
Hoping to find some comfort there yearning to feel free
And we were mesmerized by the lull of the night and the smells that filled the air
And we laid us down on sandy ground it was cold but we didn't care

He walks into the park looking exostied and collapes onto the grass under the moon.He hears someone sing."Who is sing?"He askes aloud still laying down.

Layna heard someone call out, and then nothing more. Had the person left? She did not know, nor did she feel like asking. She sat once again, murmuring words to another song that sifted through the headphones around her neck. It was more background music, only breaking the silence around her. The park felt quiet, still. But she knew that could break easily, without any thought or care. She had seen it happen. She laughed softly, mostly to herself, but also for what could hide in those shadows, in tose trees, beneath the moon and beneath the stars. The night was always wondrous, but in a way, it was also so dangerous.

Razu smiled and sat back in the shadows, "I wanna watch this." Steffon snorted in disgust. Razu petted his head, "Hey calm down Teff. It's better 'n watchin' charmed!" He grinned showing that he was joking.

She walked down the street and into central park. She then began to look in bushes and in trees hoping to find her bear.

Runt was on all fours, sniffing around for the bear...his nose led him straight to it, although he wasn't expecting it...his nose poked the bear, his eyes looking up and fixing on the teddy just inches away..."Ahhhh!!!!" He jumped nearly six feet in the air...

She looked over at RUnt. "Did you find it?" She walked over to the bush and pulled out the bear. "There you are Morton. Oh, you have a whole in ytou, lets get you cleaned up." She walked over and knelt down next to Runt. "I'm gonna go home and take care of Morton, but I would love to see you again tomorrow." She grabbed his face and gave him a kiss. "I'll meet you back here tomorrow night." With one more kiss she stood up and walked away back to her apartment.

Runt woke up under his favorite tree. After Wynter had left, he'd suddenly felt sleepy again, probably from not getting enough sleep before...

Wynter entered the park holding Morton in her hands. His holes and cuts were sewn together like they were never there. "Hello? Runt? You here?" She looked around hoping to find Runt.

Runt heard Wynter's voice...He stood up and called out to her. "Wynter? Yeah, I'm here." He followed his nose and walked up beside her, unexpectedly..."Hey..."

Wynter jumped with shock. "Oh, you scared me." She smiled and gave Runt a hug. "How are you? I hope I didn't upset you when I had to leave unexpectdly." She held Morton out to Runt. "See, he's all better now." She smiled and tilted her head to one side with her eyes closed.

Runt gave her a quick kiss and took her hand.."Sleeping...you know me...ever the lazy one...No, it was just kinda boring without you..." He looked at her with a bright smile on his face.

She held Runt's hand and held Morton in the other. She then laid her haid on his shoulder. "Shall we go then?" With a slight glance, you could see Morton move, but only if you were looking. She then held the bear tighter. "No Morton, not now."
