Obsidian was still looking at Merlin. In teh frozen time she looked like she was about to move and her red eyes were intent on something. She frowned, "You might want to talk with her, Cloud." Obsidian said. The scene around them vanished and Obsidian lost conciousness, dropping towards the ground.

She frowned, "You might want to talk with her, Cloud." Obsidian said. The scene around them vanished and Obsidian lost conciousness, dropping towards the ground. Seeing Obsidian drop, cloud ran quickly under her, catching her just in the knick of time. Laying Obsidian down on the ground, Cloud walked back to his sword, picking it up and sorting through the scene, trying to still figure out if it was a Blaydon, or if it was truly a member of the Rajen.

Rikku picked up Obsidian off the ground and supported her. "It was Merlin believe me." Rikku wouldnt say anymore but she shifted once again into her hybrid form and placed Obsidian on her back and carried her back towards the Bastets base.

Rikku wouldnt say anymore but she shifted once again into her hybrid form and placed Obsidian on her back and carried her back towards the Bastets base. Running after the two with his sword in hand, Cloud decided to trust Rikku on this. "Looks like this is going to turn out to be an all-out war."

"It wont need to be a war Cloud."Riikku knew Cloud would know better than to speak again after what she had just said.
Finally reaching the Base Rikku burts through the doors and raced down the halls Cloud at her heels. She finally slowed infront of a door and opened it. Laying Obsidian on the bed Rikku shifted back to her normal form. "Cloud we need to talk, Now."

Merlin was not at the Nocturne, she was out hunting. She'd probably not eat anyone tonight but just stalkign someone gave her a little rush. At the moment it was a young woman, a woman who looked like she was rolling in sucess in confidence, wouldn't it be fun to see that look of terror, to feel the pulse beatign as fast as a rabbits? The more she thought about it the more she wanted a little sip, just a little one.
She moved up behind the woman, she was walking home, wat a coincidence, she cornered the woman, instructing her not to make a noise so the woman cowered agains the wall, her mouth open in a silent scream as Merlin closed in. She touched teh woman's neck with a claw, careful not to break the skin yet. The woman quivered, biting down on small whimpering sounds.
She crouched in front of the woman, using her nail to make a small hole, making the woman tense and jump a bit. As Merlin drank the woman stopped shivering and seemed to relax in Merlin's embrace.

((Shoulder blade, actually)) With a sigh, Cloud looked around. "I can't do anything about that. All I'm asking is that you help me. It's not the greatest thing in this world to trust a former enemy, but I ask that you do, for all of our sakes."
