"A present, huh? Any hints as to what kind...?"She asked, bright eyed and glad to hear that her friend was having such a wonderful time being in love. Cute Ana deserved this; she always worked so hard, it was nice to see that she could relax. She stepped out of the bathroom a little bit, leaning against the door frame, so at least she could talk to the other woman face to face instead of from one room to another.

"Jewelry, I think," Ana mused, feeling the giddy happiness return full-force. "I'm not sure just what. N-not that it matters!" She added quickly, blushing at the thought that her friend might think her greedy and selfish. "I told Liozu that he didn't need to get anything for me, but..." Ana could not help another small smile. "I have to admit that it's nice."

"Ana, that's so cute!"She said, quietly but excitedly. It was nice to see her so happy. Celia was certainly enjoying this...Oddly, she didn't feel quite so off now that she was talking to Ana. With Baran she had spent most of the time worrying about what he would think, but Ana was a friend...It just seemed easier to talk to her for the moment. "So...what is it that you're doing later...?"the Knight asked eagerly, hoping to hear that the maid would be doing something fun.

"I'm not sure, I-- Are you all right?" Ana switched topics suddenly, letting her previous one fall with a start. "You're soaked!" she exclaimed, having just realized that the Knight was indeed wet and dripping onto the newly-dried floor. "What happened? Were you training? Did something go wrong with a spell?" She glanced at Water and then back up at Celia, completely confused.

The Knight's eyes widened, coming to a sudden realization; she was busted. "Ah...I...Um..."Celia hadn't really put it together that she had left the towel hiding her soaked outfit on the rack in the bathroom until Ana mentioned it. She bit her lower lip a little, her mind racing as she tried to come up with something, anything to tell the other...Somehow, she sort of doubted that the maid would believe that she fell into the tub as Baran had, considering that Ana knew her well enough to realize she was missing only her undershirt...Evidence that she had attempted to hide what had happened would clearly not go over well.
"I wasn't...I wasn't trying a spell, I um..."After saying that though, she wished she hadn't...She could have worked with that. Celia could have easily just lied and said yes, that was what happened...But now that the words had slipped off her tongue and out into the open air, there was little she could do to swallow them again.
Kahaku looked from Ana to his Knight as Celia stumbled over her words. He knew better than to interfere in this instance...His Dragon would have to find her own footing at the moment...That, and he wanted to encourage her to explain what was happening...Even he was foggy on why she had so suddenly gotten up and left the kitchens...All he could have done was follow after her. The more he knew about it, the better he thought he would be able to judge the action.

"Celia?" Ana took a hesitant step forward. "What is it? What happened? You can tell me. Don't worry. I'm your friend, aren't I?" She gave a soft, nervous smile, then retreated to sit on the edge of the newly made bed, running her hand over the space next to her. "Would you like to sit down? It... it might make it easier."

She fidgeted, pivoting her foot slightly on the spot making it squeak just a bit from the sole of her shoe on the water that had collected at her feet. "No...No I don't want to get the bed wet..."She replied, though it would probably have been a good idea if she had. She bit into her lip a bit more...This was going to be awkward...But Ana was right; they were friends...She would understand...Wouldn't she?
"I um...I'm not...sure what happened..."Said the Knight, Hoping that wouldn't come off too oddly. Did that sound weird? It did. But it was the truth, and she didn't really know how else to explain it.

"What do you mean?" Ana asked, worry clouding her words. "Oh!" She let out an embarrassed exclamation. "Don't worry about the bed! Please," she hastened to add, "I can put down a towel... Or... Here," Ana pulled one of the old sheets up onto the mattress for Celia to sit on. "Won't you sit down? I always find it easier to talk to people this way," she continued with a flush, looking down at her hands as they twisted nervously in her lap. "I'm not the most helpful person to talk to, but... I'm willing to listen."

Listening...That sounded fair enough. She sat down on the bed next to Ana, a little hesitantly, fidgeting a bit with an end of her still wet hair...It had finally stopped dripping, but was still damp. The Knight wondered precisely how she was supposed to explain what had happened...It wasn't really something that most people had a precedent for describing.
"I...Well...Um..."She sort of stumbled over the words, trying to think of the proper wording. After a few moments of silence, Celia decided to just spit it out as quickly as possible, "I was...waiting outside the kitchens, for Baran..." Another pause; apparently, quickly wasn't quite the way it was going to go. She took a shaky breath, and then continued "...And then there's nothing...Nothing until I woke up in the bath, with all my clothes on..."
Kahaku would have raised an eyebrow in surprise at this, were he human. That wasn't something he wanted to hear...Things were progressing faster than they should have been, and it worried him...How could the situation take such a drastic change in such a short expanse of time? The little dragon had his suspicions, but nothing to back them up...At this point, only time would tell what was to come.

Ana's brow furrowed as she listened to her friend speak and she bit her lower lip gently. "You don't remember..." That did not sound good. "Oh, Celia..." She placed her hand on the other woman's leg, resting it there lightly as she thought and waited patiently for her to continue.

"I just...I don't know what happened..."She said quietly, really not sure how in Dusis she'd possibly managed to just forget that much...Of course, it took her a minute to realize that this wasn't the first time that she had simply misplaced a portion of her life...
The more she thought about that, the more it worried her. "Maybe I'm just broken,"she said quietly, really thinking that was the most likely thing. Normal people didn't just blank out on their history...Though, additional thought also made her realize most people weren't Dragon Knights, and as she had read from the journal...The lives of Knights were usually...Interesting, to say the least...Did this make the situation more normal? Or even among such a unique group, was there just something wrong with her?

"Don't say that!" Ana exclaimed, pressing her hand down a little harder on Celia's leg and sounding truly horrified. "You're not broken! It's just... You just forgot. People... people do that, sometimes." She shook her head slowly, her light brown hair shining soft honey in the light. "There's nothing wrong with you."

"Then why does this keep happening to me? It's not like this is the first time..."She said, frankly wondering how that could really happen...And what if it happened again? The first time it was years of her life...The second time, hours...Would she start losing minutes? Or would it jump back to years? She couldn't afford to lose the little she had gained.
Or maybe she would get it all back...Would that happen? Did it work in reverse? No, it didn't seem like things like that happened...How could a person go from losing chunks of their existence to gaining it...That wasn't plausible. No, more than likely she would go back to bigger sections...Or worse; Smaller ones, closer together...She might not even have time to learn between them...That thought scared her, possibly more than anything else.

"...Celia?" Ana leaned a little forward, tipping her face up to look into her friend's. "There's more, isn't there. There's something else. You don't have to tell me. I... I'm sorry if I'm prying."

"Well...When I woke up in the bath, I had my fire crystal heating the water...It was working just fine, and I wasn't even touching it...I can barely use it normally..."She mumbled, sounding a little depressed and at the same time she sounded confused. If she couldn't even use it when she realized she was doing it, even on the last magical continent in the world, and just fine on the one that was almost devoid?
The Knight wondered if maybe Ana was picking up on her feelings of insecurity that still lingered from the demon attack...They had started to disappear as she spent time with Baran earlier in the day (which was really a relief), but with the blackout they were right back in the forefront of her worries. Why did all this oddity seem to stalk her?
