Cut thistles in May,
They'll grow in a day;

[Burrpelt purred a welcome and watched Skywhisker take charge. He admired her, he knew that much. She was strong, optomistic, entergetic and comforting. His ears angled toward a faint scuffling noise. He parted his jaws and scented mouse. He whirled around and started to stalk the small creature. He wondered why the mouse was so confident around so many cats. He pounced on it, killing it in one swift blow. His eyes gave a spark of triumph as he scraped the earth over his catch.]That is too soon;
Cut them in July,
Then they will die.

went. "Go on... you'll see each other again and again... so
dont worry..." He said to Cedarpaw.

[Miraclesky soon finished cleaning herself, but hers and the fox's blood spattered the clearing. She rose to her paws, but let out a cry of pain as she crumpled back to the ground, her back leg severly hurt. She cursed herself, thinking in her anger, she could taker on the fox by herself. She had, but her leg was hurt. It wasn't broken; it was just sprained. She winced, clenching her jaw. She struggled through the bushes, limping, dragging herself back to camp with absolutely no camp. I suppose he'll get what he wants. . No mentor, since my leg is sprained! Miraclesky thought darkly. She shook her head, dismissing all the bad thoughts. She purred at the leaves crunching underneath her paws, the colors of the leaf fall trees dancing around her. She momentarily forgot her pain, padding, limping heavily, through the trees, watching. Within a few hearbeats, she made it to camp.]
[The ginger warrior padded into the entrance, heading directly towards the medicine den. She was careful to avoid all obstacles, knowing how clumsy she was. She sat down at the entrance, waiting patiently as Silverstar conversed with Moonblaze. Her mind seemed to wander, admiring the pretty colors. Her gaze was drawn to a certain kit near the entrance, Fadingkit. That kit was nearly a clone of herself! And yet so talented with herbs and nimble, when the warrior was nothing but a clumsy kit-like cat! Miraclesky's whiskers twitched in amusement in her opinion of herself. She coughed quietly, trying to get someone's attention. Of course, she managed to get herself hurt on her first day as a mentor! She shook her head, realizing that she was a bit tough on her apprentice. As she remembered, she had run of early, the excitement too much for her to bear. She had been on elder's duty for a week, but it was worth it. The ginger she-cat had caught her first prey that day, a plump robin. She had been well praised by her Clanmates and her mentor, but was reprimanded for running off.]
[Miraclesky loked back at her leader and Moonblaze, and limped forward, pushing her injured leg forward.] "A fox tried to grab me whilst I was fighting it. I think it's only sprained; it doesn't hurt that much." Glancing at Silverstar, the ginger warrior added, "I'd like to talk to you, if I could. It doesn't need to be in private," Miraclesky added with a sidelong glance at Moonblaze. [The silver leader nodded, then sat down. She wrapped her slender tail around her silver paws, her piercing green depths locked with her ginger warrior's sky blue orbs. Silverstar nodded for Miraclesky to begin.]
"I woke up thios morning, after telling Cedarpaw to get some rest for the morning. I had a big day planned for him, I did! I went into the apprentice den to find him, but he was gone. I searched in the forest, and found him caborting about with his brother, Skywhisker, Oaktail, Featherheart, and Burrpelt. Granted, he had warriors with him, but I gave him a direct order to get some rest. I got a bit angry at him for disobeying me, and I admit I was a bit harsh. But I just didn't want to screw up," Miraclesky explained, her eyes lowered. She looked back up and continued, scratching a pattern in the dust. "Then he claimed it wasn't his fault, and Oakpaw told me to leave him alone. Yet as I am his mentor and he is an apprentice, Skywhisker told him not to speak to his warriors that way. I left the choice to Cedarpaw: he could either come with me and train, or stay with his brother and be disobeying the warrior code. He stayed, and in the end my leg was wrenched by a fox. And still now, I assume he's with his brother and Skywhisker."
[Miraclesky looked down, and Silverstar pondered this. The ginger warrior looked at her paws, expecting a reprimand, but none came. Silverstar looked at her warrior, with worried emerald eyes. The StormClan leader flicked her tail on Miraclesky's nose, causing the ginger she-cat to look up. Silverstar shook her head, her whiskers twitching.]
"It's not your fault. You gave Cedarpaw an order, he disobeyed you. It doesn't require a long speech to understand that, but he doesn't need to be yelled at. I'll go find them and find out what happened by his terms, and then I'll go from there. Let Moonblaze take care of you; I'll leave you in her careful paws," Silverstar meowed, then cast a reassuring glance at her medicine cat. Her very capable one at that.

[The majestic StormClan leader headed out of camp, flicking Miraclesky on the shoulder for reassurance. The ginger warrior blinked gratefully at the leader, and she purred back. In a flash like lightning, Silverstar bolted from camp, her paws elegantly flicking up leaves. She swerved to avoid trees, and leapt bushes. She soon reached the clearing where Miraclesky foufght the fox, and ended up skidding on the blood, shaking her paws. She slowed to an easy trot, following Miraclesky's scent.]
[Silverstar soon burst upon the group, padding calmly through the trees, her head held high, despite the blood on her paws. She paused and made eye contact with every cat in the group, then stopped near the apprentices. She bent her head to look down upon them, her green eyes calm yet somewhat cold. Her tail was laid at her paws, wrapped neatly. She spoke in a silky tone, calm yet icy.] "So. Your mentor tells me that you disobeyed orders, went out with your brother against her word, and now refuse to accompany her to training? This blood on my paws is that of your own mentor. She has sprained her leg gravely. And Oakpaw, I hear that you spoke disrespectfuly to an elder warrior? I am disappointed in you. I gave you mentors that I felt could be firm and you would respect." [Silverstar's frosty emerald eyes flitted from the apprentices, pushing her paw forward so they could see, smell, feel the blood.]
"With no further ado, I shall give you orders. Disrespect them and you shall be ignoring the warrior code. Need I remind you leader's word is law? Now. Oakpaw, go train with Skywhisker. Cedarpaw, you're coming back to camp with me to tend to your mentor. Oaktail, Burrpelt, and Featherheart, you will go back to camp also. I apologize, but Oakpaw and Skywhisker should be alone to train now. Firestorm, please go ahead to camp and let Mooonblaze and Miraclesky know we're on our way." [Silverstar nodded gravely, wiping her paws on the dead leaves. Her eyes weren't cold, just held disappointment such as a queen's eyes would when she finds out her kit has been planting thorns in warriors' bedding.] Is h o n e s t y so hard to a c h i e v e?

[Lustrepaw's rump wriggled in the air before he pounced, his claws latching neatly onto the back of the mouse before it could scuttle away. He killed it with a quick bite to the back of its neck, and tossed it into a growing pile behind him. Or at least, he thought it was a growing pile. His second mouse, as well as one squirrel which he was very proud of.]

Firestorm dipped his head to his leader. "Yes, Silverstar." He said in deep respect. "Come, little
warrior." He purred to Sullenpaw, who was still on top of him.
He padded back to camp. "Perhaps we shall hunt a bit
later..." he said to the apprentice. He padded over to
Moonblaze and Miraclysky. "Heyo... Silverstar said she's
coming, wiht Cedarpaw, Oaktail, Burrpelt, and Featherheart,
hopefully." He dipped his head to the two warriors.

[Sullenpaw nearly leaped out of her fur when Silverstar pounced through the brush, splattered with blood. The apprentices maw gaped open Before she was able to reply Firestorm began walking off, "But! I want to know who will be my official mentor.." she murmured quietly. Sullenpaw hushed as Firestorm began to converse with his fellow warriors. As he dipped his head she slid off of him and landed on her rump in of the two, getting a better look at Miraclesky's wound, "Wooaah! What happened?" she asked, moving her head closer to get a look though she retracted at the thick smell.]

Cinderstreak & Night
I blinked a few times, catching on to Lustrepaw's scent. I scented prey with that too. I grinned. He was shaping up into a good hunter, for it to be his first time hunting!
I almost bumped into Lustrepaw as I came to a stop. I smiled when I spotted the two pieces of fresh-kill in front of us. I nodded encouragingly. I felt flickers of pride sparking from Cinderstreak, and he tried to fight for control once more. I winced, but meowed what he would probably say. "Good job, kid!" I purred, flicking him playfully with my tail. At this rate, we would have enough prey to bring back to Dawnthistle, and almost everyone else!
I glanced around swiftly, trying to spot Thunderflight and Softpaw. I didn't see either. I smiled lightly, and looked at Lustrepaw. "Okay, I'll go catch one or two things if I can, and we'll round up Thunderflight and Softpaw. It's about time for us to eat." It was true. It was a little past sunhigh, and I was starving.
Cinderstreak growled slightly. Stupid, how could you think of food right now?! He asked. I felt claws prickle at the back of my head. I narrowed my eyes, my tail lashing. "No one asked you, you're not in control right now, are you?" I added slyly. He wasn't strong enough to receive control over us now. He was too tired. I smiled at his weakness. It was quite amusing.
[ooc2:] Ugh, too lazy to retrieve my posting layout. xP It feels weird posting without it. It makes me nervous that some new person is gonna slip and make their character call Cinderstreak Night..... v.v

[Fadingkit glanced up as Miraclesky came into camp. The kit always found it strange that they looked so alike but weren't related. As the warrior made her way over to Silverstar and Moonblaze, Fadingkit noticed that she was limping. The kit jumped up to a standing position, wanting to go treat the warrior. Fadingkit flicked her tail as she waited for Miraclesky to come out of the leaders den. She hoped Moonblaze wouldn't push her help away, Fadingkit wanted to help treat the cats. Catiously, the orange kit padded over to Moonblaze and Miraclesky.] "Miraclesky, do you want me to treat your sprained leg?" Fadingkit asked and glanced at Moonblaze before turning her attention back to the injured warrior.

[Burrpelt let out a quiet sigh.] "Yes Silverstar." [he mewed, dipping his head. He padded up to Skywhisker, pure disapointment in his eyes.] "We'll hunt together another time." [At least he had caught something. He padded past Skywhisker, brushing his tail along her shoulder. Burrpelt went back to where he had burried his catch and dug it up. He took it in his jaws, motioned for Oaktail to follow him with a flick of his tail, and disappeared through the bushes.] That is too soon;

[Miraclesky peered at Sullenpaw, batting a forepaw playfully at the apprentice. She purred, her sky blue eyes sparkling, like her old attitude. Her ginger ears flickered at the sound of Fadingkit, and Miraclesky blinked gratefully, warmly.] "I attacked a fox by myself. A stupid move, I must say, but exhilirating. It's gone now, but it wrenched my back leg. NOthing other than that," Miraclesky purred. Turning to Fadingkit, she nodded slowly. [n]"Whatever you can do to get me back on my paws as soon as I can!" she joked, swiping a forepaw over one ear.
[The ginger warrior blinked at Firestorm, then pulled herself into a sitting position. She was getting restless from sitting so long, but she dare not move the leg, lest she injure it more. She looked up, admiring the pretty colors. She spotted a leaf spiraling down and glanced toward the nursery. She grinned deviously and pushed upward, using her three good legs. She batted at the leaf, sending it flying. She leapt after it, her back leg hanging limp. In hindsight, it probably hadn't been the best idea. She grinned as she locked it in her jaws, and landed lightly. She trotted back to where she had been resting, careful with her back leg. She set it back down and then spat the leaf out, her eyes sparkling.]

I can see my life flashing before my eyes. Did I fall asleep?
Is this all a dream? Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare. I will not die. I will survive. I will not die, I'll wait here for you.

rested in her warm sunfilled nest, she lapped each of her
precious kits on the head before she rested her eyes on the not
very occupied camp.] Everyone must be out enjoying the
ending Newleaf...Leaf-fall is coming. ((Anyone know how
I can bring some action or such to Dawnthistle owo? Ty!)) ~ღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღღ~ Dawn brings beauty to the world...Night brings horror and suffering...

[I began padding away from my apprentice, looking back over my shoulder, a smile on my face]
"C'mon! Let's go hunting, Whisperpaw!"
[With my tail swishing eagerly, and my small size, I probably looked like the apprentice instead. Whisperpaw was bigger than me. That thought made me frown, but I pushed it out of my mind, and found my grin again, green eyes lighting up]
[Riverfang]
[I poked my head out of the warrior's den, amber eyes narrowed. Where was Brightspirit? Shrugging my shoulders, I headed out into the forest, pushing my way through shrubs and low branches, searching. I heard her meow, but it sounded distant.
Off with Whisperpaw, I presume, I thought absentmindedly as I continued through the forest]
