Crystal got up and went to the food bars, loading up three plates till they were over filling. "Yum!" She licked her lips happily.
"What are you getting?" She looked to Arell's plate.

Arell loaded up to almost overfilling with all the good Southern food. Seafood, fried chicken, collard greens and Red Beans and rice. "Just a li'l ol' somethin'-somethin' from home." the Cajun said with a grin.

Crystal giggled and purred at him, bringing her three plates to the table.
By the time they get back the 5 lbs of crawfish was on the table, ready to be peeled and eaten.

Arell smiled, bringing his heaping plate back to the table. Smiling at her and the fact that this was the most food he had seen in one sitting since he left the Wild Buck Saloon. "Dig in, che'!" the Cajun said.

A broadcast goes over the police dispatch, "Attention all units. Attention all units. One eighty-seven, one eighty-seven, alleyway on Rochefeller and Fourth. All available units, please respond."

The Don looked out at the Police cars racing past the apartment building. They may be on to us! he thought as he knocked on the door to Ghost's Apartment.
Meanwhile, Arell didn't know about any of the events outside, he was quite relaxed, hanging out with Crystal at the buffet.

Crystal was about finished with her food when she jumped at her computer vibrating in her pocket. She took it out of her pocket and looked at the screen before sighing. "Looks like work's calling. Alleyway on Rochefeller and Fourth... We should get going." Crystal raised her hand for the check.

Russell heard the sirens as well and the baging on his door, Can they be on to me?
A few moments pass, as the sirens faded away, Not me. "Who is it?" Russell waited for a response.
[Temporarily taking control of Harvey Bullock and a little bit Montoya]
Detective Harvey Bullock pulls up to the scene at Rochefeller and Fourth. After stopping his vehicle and Detective Montoya exits the vehicle, the weathered policeman adjusts his hat and exits the car himself.
Glancing over his shoulder, he grunts viewing the sun. It's been a long shift for him and his partner, "What up with this city? It's eight freakin AM and we got homicides? How many Ingram?"
Bullock pauses, when he notices several officers off to the side vomiting, "What's the matter?! Nobody ever see dead bodies before!?!"
The large detective strides up beside the statue of a partner, "Montoya? What the...... Oh my God."
Harvey's eyes got big as saucers viewing the carnage in the alleyway. The bloody remains where in several large pieces, and the sickly sweet smell assaulted his nose. The bullish officer snapped out of his stunned expression, "Okay, I ain't gonna look at Kibbles and Bits the same way again. Holston, talk to me."
The M.E. turned toward the older detective, "Two vics. Slashed with smooth, long blades. Single blade cuts -- straight through the bone. These cuts -- five blades in a single sweep... And both of these men were killed standing up."
Montoya spoke up, "Harvey, there's a Glock cut cleanly in several pieces."
Bullock's contorted in confusion, "What the... Are you guys tellin me that we got some nut case runnin around thinkin his Freddy Krueger?!?!"

Crystal smiled and kissed Arell on the forehead. "You go on and finish up your meal and catch up." She ran off after paying for the meal.
Crystal dodged around the corner, putting her mask and gloves on and pulling her ears and tail out of hiding, becoming Catgirl once more. She had forgotten how hard it was being a hero in a city like this.
She then got on her bike and drove off to the crime scene.

Arell kissed Crystal back. "Roger 'dat. See ya in a bit, hon." he said and then quickly polished off his meal, heading out towards the door and on the way behind Crystal, following the sound of the squad cars.
Meanwhile, away from there, The Don heard Russel's question.
"We're some potential . . . business partners. Big fans of your work." the Don said, the two goons remaining quiet for once.
