Nathan felt really comfortable around her so he would tell her anything. "well. when i was a child i was abandoned in Dublin Ireland. then a kind hearted woman picked me up and adopted me as her own. the problem was was that her husband" there was much spite when he said that word as he thought of his father "was a monster. since i could remember he would leave in the morning, get drunk, come home at night and beat my mother and i. he even pulled a knife on me and beat me close to death so many times." he took his left hand off of her and lifted up his shirt. all over his torso were ancient scars. some stretching from his shoulder to his waist and one om his right cheek. "he continued till i was sixteen and ran from home. when i came back after discovering my powers at 21 i found my mother, the one person i ever truly trusted and loved besides you and my sister, on the floor bleeding to death with a head wound. i was so angry i used vines to hold him out into a cross then i did everything he did to me over 15 years in one hour. then i ripped open his stomach and let him die of blood loss...since then i did whatever possible to avoid violence. i rushed my mother to the hospital but it was too late and she was only able to tell me of my real family. so i came here looking for my brothers and sisters"
