Back into the kitchen. So hungry... damn this stomach. She ate like a horse but maintained her willowish figure --- She hated it. "Ugh... I want some meat." Nothing in the fridge. Nothing in the cupboards. "Hey!!!" she groaned rather loudly... "Why isn't there any roast beef?"

He decided to find his students the easy way. Like most schools, his was equipped with an intercom system that was obnoxiously loud like all the others. The microphone for that system sat in his office, on his desk, looking very much like a 70's talk show mic stuck in the present world. If he wanted to find his students all he had to do was say 'All students meet me at the sparring grounds.' or something along those lines. So he did...
"All students, please meet me at the sparring grounds in five minutes. All students who are late will have an extra-difficult lesson. Thankyou!"
And now to prepare...
He searched his bookcases for a few books, piling them up on a nearby chair. 'Advanced Alchemic Reactions for Beginners', 'Mind Over Matter', 'Alchemy for Dummies.' He checked off a mental list as he went on, the pile growing taller and taller until it seemed it'd teeter over at the slightest breeze. He looked back at the pile when he'd finished and grimaced. Maybe i should have them visit me later to pick up their books...yeah. And so he started off for the sparring grounds for the first lesson.

Iris awoke, her body aching slightly from the uncomfortable position she had fallen asleep in. She found her way sleepily to her room and changed clothes.
After hearing the announcement through the intercom, Iris darted around her room and put miscellaneous items within her jacket. She then made her way for the sparring grounds where they had convened just yesterday.
It feels as if it's been forever... mused Iris.

She gave up on trying to find some roast beef and was just about to head back to her exercises when she heard Shtona's announcement. Yes...about time! She headed to the sparring grounds at a fast run. Skidding to a halt, she looked around. Was she the first one here?

Kain, after hearing the annoucement, strolled casually down the trodden path to the nearly circular sparring grounds he had visited before. As he walked near he spotted the headmaster standing with stacks of books. "Good Morning, sir." Kain said respectfully and bowed slightly as he walked into the ring. Twirling his daggers he sat cross-legged on the grass at the edge waiting for the others to arrive and the lesson to begin.

Anslia's eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of Kain. She just didn't like the fact that he had a pair of daggers too. Call it arrogant, but dagger were her "thing." She took a seat on the other side of the grounds, and began twirling her daggers in a semi-confrontational sort of way.

Iris burst through the doors and rushed towards the sparring grounds. There, she saw that Kain and Anslia had already made it there. She gave a little sigh of relief and plopped onto the ground.

He smiled as three of his students ambled in one after the other. Piper was absent, which seemed odd to him, but he'd deal with that later. Right now he had to figure out how to give three different lessons in one. They all had their own weaknesses and strengths that he had to attend to. Should he have them come up one-by-one, or give them a general lesson? Finaly, he just decided to talk them through what they needed to learn while he thought about what to do.
"Kain. Overall you're a good alchemist, but there's still plenty you can learn. You and i will have private lessons out here working on different strategies and how to mix alchemy and physical attacks."
"Iris. You need to raise your stamina...a lot. To do this you need to train your body to peak fitness. You and i will hold private lessons after Kain and i are through where i'll teach you different excercises. We'll also spar without alchemy to see how well you're coming along."
"Anslia. You simply need to learn how to do alchemy. You definitely have the stamina for it, that's not even going to be part of our lessons. I'll simply teach you efficient ways of channeling your energy into the environment."
"Since Piper is absent, i'll talk to her later. Right now i want all of you to do some warm-up laps around the buildings in a figure 8 pattern. Two laps to start, then stretches. We'll start a general lesson in alchemy from there."

Kain smiled and stood with one last twirl he stowed the daggers. Anslia had seemed to be angry with him for some reason and he puzzled on this as he sprinted off around the corner of the building. After he finished the two laps he came back to Shtona who seemed to be thinking about something. As he came to a halt where he had sat before he pulled the daggers out and began to twirl them in his hands again as he slid into a cross-legged sitting position. "So headmaster, what shall we do now?" Kain spoke clearly and slowed his breathing a bit.

Iris nodded, and stood up. She shed her purple jacket, which was rather heavy and would only weigh her down with what Shtona said he had in store for her. Underneath she was wearing a loose white blouse and black capris. It had been a good thing that she had donned sneakers.
She obediently began to stretch her legs, using the ones she had learned in her high school. She then set off jogging. She knew that Kain and Anslia would most likely finish before her, their speed evident in their fit figures and as demonstrated during the sparring matches.

Two laps... piece of cake. Anslia started out at her usual pace and steadily quickened it. She was a bit peeved the Kain finished before her, but as he sat at Shtona's feet, she stretched. And eventually moved into slow-motion acrobatics -- stretching and strengthening her arms and torso.

Her assumptions had been correct, and Iris did indeed finish after Kain and Anslia had finished.
They had already started on stretching, and Iris followed suit.

"Stretches..." he said, seeing that Anslia had already started hers. "If you know any that you like to do, go ahead and do them. We'll start when everyone's done. And don't rush, that'll just leave you stiff for the lesson. Take stretching slow, but push yourself a little each time." He sat and stretched out his legs, reaching for each foot in turn and counting slowly to ten, then he moved on to some other stretches he'd learned from various sources.

Back walkover into a handstand... hold for 25...24...23... Left leg to the ground. Hold to stretch hampstring. Right leg down, forward bend. 30...29...28... Front roll into a stradle. Roll the hips forward, torso parrallel to the ground. 35...34...33... Legs back and around to push-up position. 1-2-3-4-5 hold 40...39...38... 6-7-8-9-10 hold 45...44...43 11-12-13-14-15 hold 50...49...48 and so on. After thirty push ups, Anslia felt warm enough. She shook out her muscles and awaited further instruction, a slight grin on her face. Though she would never admit it... she was excited.

Senji late for the first day walks on the campus grounds. He carries no bags only has a loaf of bread is his left hand. He takes a large bite of it and moves to the main doors and sits next to them. He looks around and sighs. "I'm Senji." He says to anyone close enough to hear it.
