Storm closed her eyes, suddenly feeling very tired and very old.
"I meant figuritivly, mister Kibo."
She opened her eyes again, pushing the feelings away. She smiled.
"But the idea does have some potential. That is, of course, if you are willing to let a tratore back in the fold and in your bed."

Kibo: Hmm, I guess I am. But I'll need a bigger bed.
He smiles, sighing.
Kibo: And you really need to work on controlling those eyes of yours. They keep flashing with what one could confuse with longing. Make sure they're blank before you open them.

[Aye, aliens.
The word sunset at the end of ya post a while ago means its party time for Ranu.]
Dagger
Towards the battles now clear smoke, the Dagger sailed. Only Acting captain Ranu Blackheart knew that it was Kibo's fleet in there, fighting another unknown fleet. "Run up the colours," He ordered, load the cannon with ironshot. I want to see some holes in wood. He raised the telescope again, eyeing a seemingly lone ship. Fixing the glass on its rear, the words Santo Columbia became visible. "God knows who owns it," Ranu reported to the officer beside him, "But we should blow it upto be sure." He glanced at the loading cannons, then called, "I want full boarding equiptment ready immediantly. You are to be ready to board this ship the second you are ordered." Reaching a hand to touch the railing that covered the drop to the main deck from the sterring bridge, Ranu tapped it with his fingers, wondering how Admiral Botch would have ordered. Almost all the human orders he'd have given were out, and since Ranu had no dead or magic to call up, or command, he was as ready as would be. Reaching out, he grabbed a child, "You, boy. Grab that horn, give one call for them to surrender." The child ran for the front of the ship where nothing would block his view of the ship. "OI," he called out, making Ranu flinch. "SURRENDER NOW, YEAH, CAUSE WE KILL YOU OTHERWISE, YEAH?!?!" Why did I send an idiot child?

"You see in them what I want you to see and nothing more."
Storm took a step closer to Kibo, smiling mischivously.
"Except sometimes what I want you to see is what I feel."
She reached behind her to the pistol rarely used that she kept tucked underneath her shirt. Storm pulled, armed and set it firmly against Kibo's forehead in one long smooth motion.
"But that doesn't bother me in the slightest from spraying your brain's across Michael's fine, fine deck. Goodbye, mister Kibo. It's been a pleasure, truly."
She pulled the trigger.

As the bullet touches Kibo's forehead, he disappears into a fine blood-red mist. He reforms behind Storm, his back facing her, and holds his blade to her throat with one fluid motion. He turns to face her. He was no longer hiding his emotion behind a mask of indifference. His eyes were filled with a volatile concoction of sympathy, guilt, anger, lonliness, and crushing sadness. A single tear runs down his cheek as he shakes his head.
Kibo: At least have the decency to shoot me through the heart.

*Michael sits up from his desk as he hears a young voice yell over to his ship. He arrives on deck accompanied by two elite guards. The appearence of Michael sends shivers down his foe's spines.*
Michael: "Ah, Captain Ranu. You don't knwo me, but you may remeber my attack dog... L'Espadon? I am quite impressed that you escaped from my attack, and so i will kill you personally."
*Michael pulls a pistol from his coat and shoots the man standing besides Rnau in the head.*
Michael: "Alright! Pull away from the Phantasm. We will leave it to Carmine, prepare to destroy our new friend, Ranu."
*Michael walked away from the side rail accompanied by the 2 masked guards.*
[Phantasm]
*Carmine tore the vines to shreds and held a portion of the vine in her hand.*
Carmine: "Why would a spirit of flame keep such things around... "
*Carmine burns the limb to ash*
Carmine: "... They are fire hazards."
*Carmine sends two bolts of lightning towards Natasha and jumps to the side, keeping low to the deck she rushes forward.*
*The two guards run along deck and stop in front of Scar. With out saying a word the two guards remove their staffs and advance on Scar.* [Master] *the Unbliking glides to the side and reapears before Francis/Allen. The Unblinking raises its sword above its head and brings it down.*

The blade pass right through Francis, as if it was passing through nothing at all. Francis turns, cutting deep into Unblinking's stomach with both blades.

*The unblinking lets the blade pass through him like a stick across a pond's surface.*
Unblinking: "This is not working, we've tried mortal v.s. mortal and now we see that immortal v.s. immortal isn't really working, so we will try an internal struggle."
*the Unblinking seems to evaporate, his voice rings in Francis' head.*
Unblinking: "You said you hated the shadows... well it is time you faced your fear... FACE ME!"
*The Unblinking pulls Francis into his own mind, like Kibo battles Charon, Francis must battle against the Unblinking's will to destroy him.*

Francis appears on one end of a large desolate plain, Unblinking on the other.
Francis: You're an idiot.
In an instant, Francis was in front of Unblinking, who immediately sank into the ground.
Francis: You fighting in my mind, you fool. I'm a god here. Francis' will be done.
Unblinking's face distorts, turning into that of a donkey.
Francis: There. Now your outer looks match your personality, you jackass.

Storm was angry. Angry at herself for her failed kill, angry at the sympathy in Kibo's eyes, angry at all the goramn world for all the injustices in it, no matter what one little mortal did. But mostly she was angry at Kibo for not haveing the decncy to die when she called for it. When she spoke, however, her tone while not light, did not allow any of this angry through.
"Doest mine eyes decive me, or hath the raven tried to teach a lesson to the crow, only to have the same lesson bashed upon his head?"
She guestured towards his eyes, nicking her thumb in the proccess. Her eyes softened.
"I could not love thee, dear, so much Loved I not honor more. Tell me not, sweet, I am unkind. That from a nunnery, Of they chaste breast and quiet mind. To war and arms I fly. True a new mistress now I chase. The first foe in the field. And with a stronger faith embrace. A sword, a horse, a shield. Yet this inconstancy is such, As thou too shalt adore. I could not love thee dear, so much, Loved I not honor more. To Lucasta, on going to the Wars."

*The Unblinking drifted around before its form shifted again.*
Unblinking: "It is true that you can do what ever you like to my form, but it is my will to kill you that will over come. Think of me as a serpants fang... You can remove or even destroy me, bu the venom has already spread."

Kibo leans forward, whispering into her ear in an almost sickening monotone.
Kibo: And speaking of Ravens, let me grace you with a small play on words. I loved thee thus, ye love me naught, and speak of going to wars. Well, as the light fades from thine eyes, know I love thee nevermore.
The blade falls from his hand, and is immediately replaced by Charon's Claw. He flicks the blade effortlessly, leaving several small cuts of Storm's throat, arms, side, and back. Black marks begin to grow from the incision-thin markings. He places his other hand on her back pushing her face first into the deck. He taps the first marking on his arm, and taps the deck below his feet. A massive fireball erupts, burning through all the decks, and exposing the inner working of the ship to the sea below. He turns back to Storm, and spits on the deck.
Kibo: And I never liked Lovelace.
He disappears in a flash of fire.

[Oooo, mister Kibo you get massive brownie points for naming Lovelace. You are the first to know his writings, of all the poeple that I've asked.]
Storm heard a sickening crack and winced, when her arms refecivly caught herself on the burning deck. She spoke a word of power and her proctective runes light up, drowning the black marks in shinning blue and red lights, as the magic responded to the danger surrounding her.
Scowling, Storm pushed her self to her feet and wabbaled somewhat unsteadily towards her equipment belt and toy. Whispering, she tossed Golden Storm into the sea as it grew in porportions. She threw a few choice curses of hers to Michael and Kibo silently before dropping onto the deck of a full blown Galleas. The four triangular sails were a lighter lavender to the darker purple of the hull and banks of oars.
Shouting a comand in her native tounge, Golden Storm lept away from the burning wreck towards Death Wind.

((I remember hearing that poem from my Lit class last year. I actually quite enjoyed the poem.))
Kibo appears behind Michael, shoving his blade through the immortal man's stomach.
Kibo: Hello again.

Another yelled command once Golden Storm was within fireing range of Death Wind and niner cannons were rolled up onto the deck, loaded and ready to fire. Storm gestured to her first mate awith her favored wrist and watch with some satisfaction as Death Wind and all her remaning crew died. A small, cruel smile turned up her lips.
Lovelace was right, she could not love one more then she loved her 'honor'. She was more comfortable chasing after war and bedding down with her weapons. But it was damned lonely at night and her longsword was notourios for having cold feet.
The flames that signalled the powerd kegs had been hit lit up Storm's blood and silver eyes, making them dance. She wondered idley if she could win Kibo back. Wincing from Charon's effects, Storm thought it wasn't likely. Her magic had greatly slowed, but not all together stopped Charon's deadly kisses.
