Suddenly, a giant water dragon burst out of the river and snapped up the snakes. Then it crawled out of the river and curled around Shaydra.
She turned around, grinning. "Turns out the spell works," she laughed. She petted the dragon, and it squirmed and squirted water out of its mouth at Luxran and Zinc.

Lex slowly opened her eyes. She yawned, showng her huge teeth. She got up and streched, then licked her lips. "Food?" She asked. She turned back into her human form and got into the river, soaking her red hair, trying her best to make it presentable. Just then, she noticed the water dragon. She cocked her head at Shaydra and laughed.

Shaydra grinned. The water dragon made a gurgling sound and slipped close to Lex, splashing back into the river and dousing Lex with water.
Shaydra stetched and followed her water dragon into the river, slipping in quietly and splashing Lex, making her even more wet.

"Yeah, thanks.." Lex rung out her hair and got out, choosing a nice patch of sun. She laid down, still human, and ket her hair and clothes dry out as best as possible.

The water dragon suddenly rose under Shaydra, surprising her and carrying her like a wave down the river. Shaydra laughed, and the water dragon dissapeared under her, splashing her abruptly into the river.
Then the water dragon rose up again - and disintagrated into the river. Shaydra froze. Something had spooked the water dragon - and it was close. She said quietly, "Something's near - and it isn't friendly."

Lex got up and flipped her hair out, trying to dry it before she had to morph. She froze and listened. She could hear nothing out of the ordinary, bur Shaydra was right. It seemed as if the forest was holding its breath. She changed quickly into a tiger and got ready to fight.

Lex blushed and looked down, "Its fun to flip." She said, still ready to fight. "What did you hear Shaydra?"

Shaydra hissed, "Do not be so childish as to think fighting is fun. And not so loud, this...thing, it is clever, I could barely hear it; my only warning was that my water dragon was spooked."

Lex nodded and backed up so she was in line with Shaydra and Zinc. She growled and bared her teeth again, wanting a fight almost as bad as Zinc.

"Well now its gone and the thing you want is some were behid those trees over there. Thats were I saw your dragon look and some sort of weired sent is gomming from it to."

Shaydra stared at the spot. Then she called quietly, "Ahem. Who are you and what is your business?" Nothing replied. Suddenly, a rustle shook the trees, and a creature burst out of the trees and onto Shaydra.
It was about the same size as her, but you could not see much more; it was whizzing around Shaydra, hissing and spittting and inflicting wounds. She tried to pry it off, but it just dodged, hissed again, and clipped her shoulder.

froze the hydra that bursted from the trees so it fell of shayda "Peskie things we must of disruted it when we got here. So it was waiting for a time to strike. I didn't get to use my sword darn it."
