The old RP hall is now the reincarnation of the Storeroom, only it's now called the Warehouse. Obviously the meaning is the same, but it's for disused threads and the likes that may still have use at some point.
I'm now working on the next area as well. I've just added a couple of threads that will hopefully start it off.

Just to let you know, I won't really be posting - barely - unless activity picks up again with the regulars. I've got other things to do, and can't be bothered to keep coming back to a guild where all activity seems to be frozen.
Sorry, I just don't want to keep fighting a losing battle anymore. Unless there's something to keep this ship afloat, I'm just going to take a back seat for the time being and get on with life.

Gee Mel, that's too bad that you won't be around but don't worry, yer top mods will be here to see if there's still something that can be done. It may be just me but it seems that people barely have time for guilds anymore. I see members on Gaia but they mostly play games or participate in the promotions like the ones that require you to finish a quest like watch a trailer.
It's sad but at least we'll keep an eye on the guild for ya. wink

I'll be around sporadically.....but I just can't see the point in being active if nobody else is going to be, you know?

I completely understand.
When I had my Konami Fan Club, I was the only one posting but I still wouldn't give up for some time (can't remember how long it was). I even bothered to post news about Konami's newest games, their release dates and things of the sort. Since we had a section at the club for questions only, I usually posted a new question each week but, even after all my efforts of trying to award members with the title of member of the week (there was no gold or money on that site) I couldn't get activity back up. It was really sad to watch the club being so empty when it was once bursting with activity. I would have understood if it was just 4 or 5 members but there were about 39 or 40 members so...
Anywho, I tried to post yesterday but there weren't any threads that needed my attention. I'll see if there are any today.

There have been about 300+ members on this guild. The homepage reads 129 now. Yeah, that many and how many people bother?
With something like a Konami Fan Club I can understand there being less than 100 members as that kind of thing is not to everyone's tastes. It's more of an acquired taste. However, fantasy is something else. It's a huge great big genre with no boundaries. That's going to have a wider fan base, and yet, look at it all.
This guild is probably the only one that bothers to go into depth in discussing all aspects of it, allowing opinions to be given. For example, someone is looking for clarity with their writing (or ideas they have come up with for it or something else - even things like D&D characters who they want to give certain abilities to etc). They can ask opinions, so people can give their praise or constructive criticism. That's one thing amongst many, and pretty much nobody takes up the offer. Most other fantasy guilds are almost all RP-based.

1.) I have deleted or moved threads out of the Chapel.
2.) Suma, your Hinduism thread along with others of a divine/arcane nature from the Chapel are now in the Arcane Academy.
3.) The Chapel is now the Sci-Fi corner, where aspects of science fiction can be discussed (evidently), and where and how sci-fi and fantasy have been combined successfully or unsuccessfully. Only two game developers managed to combine them in my opinion, and that's Squaresoft/Square Enix and SEGA (aka Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star). But that's for discussion in the sub-forum.
NOTE: This is one of my final attempts to add something more to the guild. Mods, if you want to help... a.) be active and post b.) advertise the guild as best you can - create your own banners if you want but be sure to post them on the Guild Banner thread. c.) search for people with relevant interests and invite them.
Sitting here twiddling your fingers isn't doing anything really. Speculating about what we could do isn't doing anything. I appreciate that a couple of you have helped here and there, but since I created this guild I've done most of the work alone. I won't do so any longer. It should be team effort with a captain as it is on a ship. The captain cannot crew his/her ship alone.

I think we might have some good news. Guild Changes - Coming Soon!
This thread was created by one of the developers, so perhaps something will change in the near future. I've made a post with a few suggestions on there as well, so if you guys want to add anything, please do.

Suma, your Hinduism thread has been moved again. I'm sort of re-creating the Chapel, but it's now the Temple District.

I have made some adjustments in the Recruitment & Advertising thread.
I also made a note about a new member who sent a join request in that same thread.

You are right Mel! A Captain should not do things by him or herself.
I've been checking out some threads and posting on others but I don't have that much time to also be thinking about who else to invite. I'll have to make time for that and I can't seem to find any right now.
I'll see what else I can do for now...
