Niraj sighed relaxing again and smiling at Adelina held her with one arm carefully and finished his meal as well with the other. He fed the baby food like Tianna had but not to much and only when she would take it. After he finished he stood holding the baby with both arms again and said looking at Tianna timidly. "Umm...so..." He sweat dropped and stood there silently at a loss for words.

She took Adelina with a chuckle and burped her, Adelina falling asleep soon after.

Niraj sighed but stood there uncertainly still and said quietly seeing that Adelina was asleep. "You're going to be a great mom...I mean not that you aren't now but well um I guess erm..."He looked down and shut up embarrassed.

She smiled and rocked Adelina insitnctively, saying, "I know what you mean Nirj. You don't have to explain yourself. don't flip out on people for small mistakes in their sentances."

"O-oh o-ok...s-sorry..."Niraj stammered but walked up to her and hugged her shyly from her side for a second so as not to disrupt her rocking Adelina. He backed a way quickly blushing deeply and mumbled quietly. "T-thanks..."

She kissed him on the cheek and said, "Its nothing." she waled over to her room to place the baby in a black crib with a bat mobie hanging above it. It was draped in auzy black mosquito fabric and Tinna loved it. She walked back out to the dining room where Niraj still was.

Niraj looked down his face flaring a deep shade of pink and smiled up at Tianna shyly as she came back in. He blinked remembering something and asked rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Umm c-can I go down to my apartment for a bit? I-I left something d-down there..."

((Sorry to bug you about it. sweatdrop It's just I was gone have something happen that wouldn't make sense completely if you hadn't. ))
Niraj nodded timidly. "I-I know but w-well heh um I-I'll be right b-back..." He walked out still a bit dazed from the kiss on the cheek and went down to his apartment feeling light-headed but in a good way. As he was coming back up he paused thinking he heard the noise of footsteps below him. "Someone's coming up the stairs...?" Looking over the railing he saw a group of five or six people armed and dressed like soldiers heading up the stairs. Two of them who were looking up spotted him and both shouted up at him to come down. Niraj froze panicking slightly. At the shout the entire group of them had halted suddenly. He'd distinctly heard a clinking metal on metal noise when they did. They shouted at him again and he started down not wanting them to be suspicious. "W-who are y-you?" He called stopping a couple flights of stairs above them. The fear in his voice was obvious. "Don't be hunters,don't be hunters,don't be hunters,PLEASE don't be hunters..." The man at the front of the group said looking up at Niraj intently but not with any real sign of aggression yet. "We're just some soldiers. There's a lot of crime lately and the city police called some troops in to ask for help...don't worry. We aren't here to cause any trouble...your mom home kid? How many people live in this building? Because we've been up a couple floors already and all the rooms are empty..." They started up the stairs again. "Y-yeah...umm h-hold on...I-i'll g-get her...n-not many people live here...the b-b-building j-just opened..."Niraj stammered backing up the stairs as the group continued up towards him slowly. The man nodded and said gruffly. "Hurry up and get her." Niraj hurried back up and walked quickly into Tianna's apartment. "T-tianna! T-there's s-soldiers d-downstairs...t-they h-have guns and daggers a-and...I-I t-told them y-your m-my m-mom...I d-don't think they know w-were l-lycans but t-they w-want to talk to y-you..."

"s**t./.." Tianna muttered, heading for her room. She changed into her normal outfit and grabbed her weapons. She hid several and carried one small, householdish looking handgun with her. She grabed the baby and smeared some dark makeup under her eyes to give the semblance of bags from tiredness. She went to the stairs and called down, "Show me some badges or I start shooting and then call the cops." She handed the baby over to Niraj, making him look like an older brother.

Niraj held Adelina and stood back not wanting Adelina to get hit if they started shooting. The entire group of soldiers dropped to crouches at Tiannas sudden shout and several rifles were suddenly aimed in Tianna's direction. Niraj gulped and had to force himself to walk over and stand next to Tianna holding the baby close to his chest gently. The soldiers murmured quietly to each seeing Niraj and baby but didn't lower their guns. The guy in the front stood up and said. "No need for any shooting miss. We're just here because it looked a bit suspicious. This whole building is at least nine stories high and the only lights on are the ones at the top and bottom floor. We thought there might be a situation...we can that's not the case though now. So we'll just take our leave. Sorry to disturb you and your children." The soldiers filed out slowly the two in the back of the line,walking backwards,watching Tianna and Niraj. Niraj slumped against a wall as soon as they were gone and huggled Adelina lightly. He'd been terrified that Tianna would get hurt.

"******** idiots... They used to have tracker systems you know. To detect or dna from miles away. But the radiation supposedly harmed people. You'd think they'd find a way around that." She muttered, pulling pout a pair of heat ray goggles to make sure they left.

"I'm just glad they didn't find us out...think they'll be back?" Niraj asked catching up on the breathing he'd stopped doing when they'd pointed their guns at Tianna.

"They haven't left yet." she said with certanty. "They're in the lobby, with binoculars pointed at us." Adelina, unable to control he changes at her age shifted and Tianna swore as a bullet tore through the air near her head. She grabbed Niraj and pulled him back into the room and tossing a grenade down the space in between the winding stair wells. She chuckled and closed her bullet proof door and locked it with every single lock there, including ones that lined the top and bottom of the door. She dragged Niraj into the electronics room and pressed a big official looking red button on the panel that lined one wall. She saw all the doors close on the monitors and the electronic barriers shut at every staircase landing. Only her key card could gt the doors open now. She opened the door out to the rest of her appartment and then her bedroom one, using a credit card type thing that ws scanned along with her fingerprint. She grabbed a bulletproof vest from the closet and pulled it on. She pulled out a smaller one for Niraj and a bulletproof jumpsuit for the baby. She used some lycan motherhood power to force change the child into human form and pushed the baby girl in after putting a diaper on her. "Ok. I'll take the baby." Tianna said, strapping a baby carrier onto her hip. She checked all of her wepons and held her hands out.

Niraj put Adelina into the harness for Tianna carefully when she held her arms. "A-are w-we going to run?" He pulled his vest on and looked up at her fighting the panic that threatened to overtake him. He hugged her briefly and then stepped back breathing to calm down.
