{{Sorry, I just came back from SJ}}
Zeph looked around and targeted the voice. "Oh, hello, Rrreva", his voice was slightly slurred and he rolled the 'r' a bit. Normally, this would've sounded odd with a normal boy but it worked and gave his voice a slight accent.
He leaned his head closer to hers, but before he could respond to the question she had proposed to him, she had decided so he stayed silent and just gave a nod with a sip of his drink.

"We do, hun, bu' I dunno if I can in all good conscience give i' ta ya... is no' alcoholic girlie, c'moon! Is a party! Le' me pour ya a lil summin' sum in i'... Deal?" He wheedled smiling wolfishly at her.
Waiting for her reply, the Huichol spotted the good ol' Ravi, making a B line for him. What a little slut. We`rika grin grew even wider as his friend sat down at the bar. He leaned obnoxiously close to the man. "Yeah I saw ya shakin' yer thang ou' there.. Though' ya din' dance, boyo?"

Jae spun back around hearing the barkeep. Her brain drew a blank.
"Um...excuse me? Alcohol? I don't drink alcohol... Are you speaking English?" she asked, puzzled, her face a slight red.
She suddenly realized in horror what she had just said.
"NO! I mean--ah! I'm sorry!!! I'm from Korea!!"
Just what exactly was she saying? She had no idea anymore.

We`rika's widened in shock. I don't drink alcohol? Could this woman be serious? Oh Jesus, he wanted to run and hide under the bar.
"Well.. I dunno abou' English... prolly bad English, bu'... ya know... alcohol... th'stuff tha uhh... makes ya all wobbly and feelin' good?" The shaman's nose wrinkled in frustration. He hated explaining things to people because he wasn't any good at it to begin with. "Here..." He started, filling a glass with coke, pomegranate syrup, and a splash (or two or three) of vodka, "Try i' and see..."

A voice in Jae Eun's head immediately started shouting at her to NOT try the liquid in the glass. But she was so embarrased, that anything to get rid of it seemed like a good thing at the moment. Her hand shook a bit as she slowly raised the glass to her lips, taking a small sip.
She closed her eyes, a burning sensation in her throat. But..it was sweet? The grenadine seemed like a nice touch actually......peeking an eye open, she took another sip, a little bigger. It went down a little easier this time, but she was already starting to feel a little woozy. Pushing her limits, she took one more drink.
"Ah...woah!!" she put the glass down and steadied herself on the counter. Definately not one of her wiser decisions. Well, if the barkeep had been right about anything, it was the wobbly-feel-good part.

Ravi hid his head in his hands, trying to forget this, the second most mortifying moment in his life (the first having occurred while he was still a teenager, and a large part of why he was so reserved and shy in the present). We`rika's comments weren't helping, and the red on the man's face as only getting brighter. Why did We`rika, of all people, have to see? Now he would never live it down. Not knowing what had possessed him to dance in the first place, Ravi was now burning with shame, both on his face and in terms of body temperature.
"Thirsty," he mumbled, face still hidden from sight. He felt parched. He didn't care what he drank, but he needed something in his system, that was for sure. With a hollow THWUK, the head of the pinata flew through the air and rolled around on the floor, the body of the pinata unceremoniously flailing through the air above. More distracting than this display, however, was the very awkward "reward" that dropped to the ground.
Congrats, Natsuki! You have won "Black Leather Strapped Manties"!

Natsuki almost expected a condom shower to burst for from the pinata, knowing full well that We`rika was responsible for filling them. When the sound of a single object followed that of the pinata's head, Natsuki ripped off her blindfold wonder what the heck would make such a sound.
"Oh. My. God." Natsuki said, bending over and slipping a long finger through one of the straps on the black leather strapped manties. A flush quickly burned in her cheeks as she scanned the crowd, looking in vain for We`rika. Giving a shrug, she twirled the manties around on her finger, and gave a big "Woo hoo!" to the crowd. She smiled at the other girl who was trying her luck, curious as to what might pop out next.
"I can't believe this..." Natsuki giggled, stalking back to the DJ booth and firmly shoving the manties into her bag.

"Thirsty, eh? Uhmm... Well I made a pitcher of Texas Tea... Is swee' bu' trus' me... it'lla ge' the job done and quick hmm?" He leaned over Ravi when he wasn't making a sound. Pushing through, he rested his chin on the counter in front of his friend's arms. And unable to let anything alone, the shaman tried to pry Ravi's hands away from his beet red face. "Whas th'matter, my sunshine?" He asked, true concern lying under his usual teasing.

Ravi gulped. Sunshine? Had We`rika, who was usually more rough and lewd than an urban pimp, given him, Ravi, a pet name that was sweet and completely unrelated to sex? Furthermore, how did the Huichol, who knew nothing of Indian languages, know that Ravi's name did indeed mean "rays of the sun"? His hands moved easily from his face when We`rika pulled them back. Not only was Ravi's face red, but his hands had left dim finger imprints on his skin, as well. His appearance was laughable, but the scholar hardly cared. He was looking at We`rika as if he were seeing someone new. And the person he saw... well, he lik-
H-he didn't hate him.
He turned away from We`rika sheepishly, concentrating very hard on the knot in the wood to the right of We`rika's elbow on the bar. He was still embarrassed, but a different feeling was twisting his gut now that We`rika was paying attention to him. "Tea sounds..." He nodded awkwardly, mouth open but without sound. He hoped We`rika understood. Ravi's throat felt even more dry than it had half a minute ago.

((DOOD! I didn't even know he was named after a sun god hahaha I am soo awesome XD))
We`rika snorted like a pig by his friend. If only Ravi could understand the more his friend blushed, the more he picked on him. It was like an innate reflex! He was actually surprised Ravi hadn't punched him in the face. That was a good sign.
"Hang on, then..." He grabbed the pitcher and poured the warlock a tall glass. Grabbing a napkin, he set the glass in front of the man. "I require 20% gratitude though..." He wheedled, flashing a nice toothy smile.

Seeing Ravi and We`rika taking a break at the bar. As the music played, she wandered over to the unlikely duo with a smile. The three of them pulled off one heck of a party, and she was glad they chose to enlist her services for the event.
"I think we did a good job, Gents," Natsuki mused, leaning against the bar, and resting her elbows on the wood. She looked out over the dance floor and smiled, before tilting her head toward We`rika and Ravi. Despite her earlier beverage faux pas, her dress was merely a little damp, but thankfully not clingy. "Mind if I get a cup, too?"

Well well well look what the cat dragged over. We`rika forgot about Ravi for a moment as he slid over to the luscious little Natsuki. "I think we did too, muffin..." He left off the prefix to Natsuki's nickname. It was err.. reserved to more private places. Bending beside the warlock, the shaman grabbed one more and hopefully the last glass of the night and poured another Texas tea. "Thurr ya go..."

In spite of his usually serious exterior, Ravi cracked a smile, if only just barely a smidgen of one, as he accepted his cup from We`rika. "'Thank you,'" he said, taking a sip of the drink. "That should cover the gratitude AND the drink." This "tea" tasted great, but he could tell by its smell that the drink was far from innocent. Since he had already danced and smiled, though, why not break another of his self-made rules of conduct? Ravi took a larger gulp of the drink and relished its flavor. If Ravi was good in the kitchen, than We`rika was splendid as a bartender.
Though his flush was fading, a certain rosiness was now hesitant to leave his cheeks. But such was alcohol. The fact that everyone was ruddy-faced was a good indication of We`rika's abilities. Just how many people had the Huichol managed to intoxicate tonight? Surely it was a number that none of them would remember when the morning came.
When Natsuki came over, Ravi's smile grew more sincere, as the woman had truly pulled through more than he could have expected. She'd lost her home and business just days before the event, yet she still managed to help set up and host the birthday party! Her help had been tantamount to the success of the party, and though it was unlike him to admit so, Ravi was appreciative. When she too received a glass of the Texas Tea, Ravi raised his glass to her before finishing his cup.

Natsuki hadn't realized that We`rika was serving up alcoholic tea, but she gave an obliging smile as he called her 'muffin', which was a far welcome change from the full name he gave her. Lifting her glass to Ravi and We`rika, Natsuki chimed, "here here" and clinked her glass against theirs.
"You know, no one's touched the birthday cake," she said with a giggle, looking at her masterpiece and shaking her head. "How about we devour it during the clean up?"
